Charmig provencalsk stil Villa i utkanten av Le Bar sur Loup med utsikt över en skogsklädda dal med vidsträckt utsikt över Alpe Maritime. Pool installerad Vinter 2006/07 med sommar kök och Pergola täckt terrass. 30 meter från de viktigaste stränder i Antibes / Cannes och 35 meter från Nice och flygplatsen. Flera mycket bra golfbanor inom 10-30 mt samt tennis, mountainbike, ridning och paddling. Nära Skidorten ligger bara 45 meter bort. Parfymhovedstaden i Grasse ligger bara 15 meter bort med många medeltida kullstäder. Monte Carlo är bara en timme bort som är St Tropez.

Vår villa representerar en av de bästa värdet för denna del av riviera för upp till 7/8 personer.

TERRÄCKER: Fastigheten har en övre terrass / balkong som är lämplig för morgontidning mot öst och söder från vardagsrum och kök. En bronsande söderläge terrass på lägre nivå vid poolen med solstolar och ett ytterligare område under den täckta Pergola med uteservering för 10 personer nära sommarkök och pool.

A Wonderful place

We loved our stay at the House. The outside area and pool are fantastic and We only went inside to sleep.. one of the beds are small( wich We where informed about before We arrived) so the bed is only for short people og kids. Our contact person was sweet and helpfull with everything

Beautiful location and area

Lovely good sized Villa, especially the pool, with two kitchen areas all well stocked with tools etc you need. Very peaceful and such a brilliant area with loads to do as well as have some lazy days by the pool. It is a short drive to lots of places but no walks other than on roads from the property which is the only thing to be aware of. It didn’t spoil our enjoyment though.

Wunderbare Ferien

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen! Die Sommerküche direkt am Pool ist toll und wir haben die andere Küche im Haus kaum genutzt. Am Pool hat uns mit einem kleineren Kind gefreut, dass er an einer Seite nur 90 cm tief ist. Der Pool war für uns alle auf alle Fälle ein Highlight! Das Haus liegt -wie beschrieben - mitten in den Bergen und es ist notwendig mit dem Auto anzureisen, außer man möchte für die nächste Tour de France trainieren. Die Serpentinen könnten am Anfang aufregend sein - es passt aber immer!! Am Abend haben wir es immer wieder rascheln gehört, weil ein Rehkitz mit seiner Mutter gleich am Grundstück schlief und die Nachbarn haben Esel, so dass manchmal auch IAs zu hören sind. Das hat es für uns noch gemütlicher gemacht. Der Mann, der sich um den Pool kümmert, kommt einmal die Woche morgens gegen 9 Uhr. Das war eine gute Zeit für uns, um nicht groß gestört zu werden und so mussten wir uns um nichts kümmern. Ein Stück weiter die Straße abwärts (am besten auch mit dem Auto erreichbar) liegt ein Park an einer alten Fabrik (La Papeterie) zu dem auch ein klarer idyllischer Gebirgsfluss gehört. Für unseren Hund war es toll, dass er dort Bewegung hatte und baden konnte. Viele Franzosen verbringen dort auch ihre Tage am und im Wasser. Im Sommer finden an der Papeterie auch kostenlose Konzerte statt. Wir können uns alle gut vorstellen, dort noch einmal Urlaub zu machen!

Points positifs : - l'hôte et l'hôtesse sont charmants et aidants sur l'accueil et les différentes questions mais ne sont que les relais des propriétaires qui n'ont que faire du bien-être des locataires - piscine sympa ; - coin cuisine extérieure sympa ; Points négatifs : - ménage à revoir de façon significative (tout à laver à notre arrivée) ; - ustensiles et appareils vétustes ; - machine à laver usés et en panne (pas de plan B à nous proposer pendant notre séjour) ; - piscine moyennement propre avec de la mousse verte sur les joints ; - matelas dégoutants ; - les oreillers sentent l'urine ; - maison à 7 place et non 8 places (obligé d'acheter un matelas) ; - poubelle dégoutante (obligé de la nettoyer au tuyau) Vraiment dommage car le potentiel est énorme si les propriétaires faisaient un entretien et un renouveau du matériel !!!

Alles in allem wie erwartet gut.

- insgesamt ruhige Lage auch wenn die Straße relativ viel befahren wird - aktuell zwei Baustellen in unmittelbarer Nähe (störender Lärm wurde aber keiner wahrgenommen (07/2022) - Haus und Einrichtung sind in gutem Zustand - Küche wurde scheinbar erneuert - Manche Töpfe und manches Geschirr sollte mal erneuert werden. Das sah nicht immer appetitlich aus. Insgesamt ist die Küche aber sehr gut ausgestattet. - die beiden Toilettenräume sind sehr klein und beengt. Nichts für größer gewachsene Mitmenschen - Pool wird einmal die Woche gereinigt - für die Müllabfuhr ist der Mieter verantwortlich (Tonnen zu bestimmten Tagen an die Straße stellen) - Die Außenküche ist super. Das Plastik Geschirr aber nicht zeitgemäß, auch wenn der Gedanke dahinter nachvollziehbar ist (kein Glas im Pool Bereich). Außenterrasse und Pool Bereich sind direkt nur durch eins der Schlafzimmer unten erreichbar. Ansonsten immer oben über die Treppe des Außenbereichs. - Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt und somit für Hundebesitzer gut geeignet. - die Hausverwaltung vor Ort war immer gut erreichbar Insgesamt alles in Ordnung und ich würde mich immer wieder für dieses Haus entscheiden.

Localisation et bon environnement

Propriété vieillissante avec manque d'entretien général. Propreté de la maison à l'arrivée médiocre (toiles d'araignées, boule de poussière sous les lits, mauvaises odeurs, gras cuisine, ect...) Les équipements sont vetustes et usés ( cafetière, parasols, aspirateur, balai, machine à laver, éclairage piscine cassé flottant dans l'eau, qui n'eclairait pas...) Une chambre avec moquette inutilisable car odeur horrible). Le point positif de la maison , le coin piscine avec cuisine d'été entouré de verdure très agréable.

Superlokatie vlakbij Grasse

We hebben een week verbleven in dit zeer gezellige vakantiehuis! De buitenkeuken (met alles erop en eraan) vlak naast het zwembad is alles wat je nodig hebt voor een perfecte vakantie. Het zicht achteraan op de natuur en het geluid van het riviertje zijn perfect rustgevend. De weg om er te geraken is niet al te breed en de locals gebruiken hem als sluipweg tussen 2 dorpen...aan niet altijd gepaste snelheden, dus uitkijken als je uit de poort komt :-) Supermarkten, bakkers, etc zijn allemaal redelijk dichtbij maar niet op wandelafstand...dus fiets of auto gebruiken. Als je op zoek bent naar een ongestoord plekje in zuid-frankrijk dan moet je dit huis zeker overwegen!

Wel wat gedateerd maar van alle gemakken voorzien

Leuk huis, zwembad met goede afmetingen en de buitenkeuken was ideaal. Prachtige omgeving, leuke plaatsjes maar ook veel natuur . Eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk. Auto is noodzakelijk.

Relaxing Holidays

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at this villa in Le Bar sur Loup. The pool is large and deep (down to 1,95m) and offered all kinds of possibilities for our kids to play in (aged 10 to 16). We also appreciated the outdoor kitchen and its barbecue (the gas stove didn't work, though). There was sufficient outdoor seating and deck chairs for everyone. The inside was ideally distributed for two families. Two upstairs bedrooms, toilet and bathroom, three downstairs bedrooms, toilet and bathroom. The house is well situated: very calm, great view down the valley, easy access to supermarkets within five to ten minutes driving distance. Decoration (much more than visible on the photos) and variety of kitchen equipment shows that the owners have their second home in France, and staying in this villa rather feels like staying at somebody's house than in a holiday home - some might appreciate this, others might prefer a more neutral and emptier house. Upon arrival dishes and cutlery needed some cleaning, the house itself was well cleaned. Both fridges have seen their best days. Toilet seats were a bit rickety. Wi-fi was working fine.

Perfect family retreat

A wonderful traditional French family home set in a peaceful mountain side location but in easy access Cannes, Nice, Antibes etc. The house was plenty big enough for all 9 of us and the pool was much bigger than we'd expected based on the photographs which to be honest don't do the place justice. Being able to cook pool side was wonderful, we barely used the indoor kitchen for anything more than the fridge! The cost was very good value for money, so much so that we kept looking for the catch, but there wasn't one. If you have teenage kids or similar, there is an excellent go-karting track 5 minutes drive away which is also very reasonably priced. We don't usually need such a big place for our holidays, but if we ever do again we'll be back in a heartbeat.

A fabulous place to stay

We had a fabulous time at Les Lauriers. The house has wonderful views of the mountain, is not overlooked and situated about two miles from the delightful hilltop village of Le Bar sur Loup and within easy driving distance of Saint Paul de Vence, Grasse, Valbonne Cannes, Antibes and Nice. There is a good bus route (500) to Nice and the airport. The house is well equipped and and we enjoyed the top terrace for our breakfast in the early morning sunshine and the lower poolside terrace with a great summer kitchen (well equipped with fridge, dishwasher, barbecue, hob and plenty of pool-friendly crockery and glasses)during the day and in the evenings. The pool is "yards" from the two lower level bedrooms and is lit at night time. The house enjoys all day sunshine but with the stone floors and french doors it felt cool in the heat of the day. We would recommend hiring a car to explore this beautiful part of the Cote d'Azur as there are many hilltop villages to visit and many markets and restaurants. The owners have a helpful visitors' guide listing restaurants, markets, supermarkets and interesting places to visit. We enjoyed the "vide greniers" (boot fairs) at the weekends which are an institution in this area and we found some great artisan bargains, lovely french linens etc. I would love to come back again and would recommend Les Lauriers for a relaxing break in a stunning part of France.

Super holiday in great villa.

Have returned yet again, for a great holiday, loved the villa, beautifully equipped, everything on needs for a very large family and very spacious, beautiful scenery around and great places to visit time and time again, hope this will not be the last time of going to le-bar-sur-loup. Inshallah

Charming villa in beautiful surroundings.

We had a great stay at this charming Villa a week in July. All of our expectations where met, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house and pool was well maintianed and everything we needed was in the house. There was plenty room for 6 adults and 4 children. During our stay we had a few questions and a small problem, but everything was taken care of as soon as possible. Very good customer service. The Villa is locatede in the hillside below a charming village (Le Bar sur-loup), in what appares to be a mostly residential area. Very quiet and private. There are several nice restaurants in the village, and we would especially recommend L'Ecole des Filles. A car is necessary, but there are many attractions within driving range. We took day trips to Grasse, Antibes and Cannes. The mountains around has beautful trails for hiking. Would recommend this house to others, great value.

Summer 2013

Beautiful spacious villa at the bottom of a very peaceful valley. We had a fabulous 2 wks here enjoying the peace and quiet. Swimming pool was amazing very private. Short distance to shops including a very yummy patisserie! Easy drive ito the coast. Bar sur Loup beautiful little village well worth a visit.

Spacious and comfortable villa

We have just got back from a two-week holiday in this lovely house. There was plenty of room for our party of 8 people - 2 sets of parents and our 4 kids all in their late teens. The location and views from the house are spectacular. The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils, pool side loungers and things like books and CDs. The pool itself is a good size. The house stayed nice and cool in the hot weather. The Wi-fi was also very popular with our teenagers. You do need a car as the hills are quite steep and the shops are a 10 minute drive away. However, we also did some walks and enjoyed the scenery. There is lots to do - Cote D'azur beaches, mountain villages to explore, french markets, activities, such go-karting, canyoning and paint-ball. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes in the area. We also took day trips to Monaco and into Italy which are within reasonable driving distance. There is more than enough to do for a two week stay. We really enjoyed staying here.

Beautiful le Bar-sur-Loup getaway

We recently spent a magnificent two week vacation in this lovely villa outside the scenic and picturesque village of le Bar-sur-Loup and close to many of the beautiful 'perched villages' of the southern Alps. We were a group of nine adults who had a wonderful time in this house as there is plenty of room to give people personal space and lots of communal living space and thanks to the television we were able to stay up to date with the Tour de France! We had several cooks in our group and both the indoor and outdoor kitchens were marvellous and were well-used during our stay as we wanted the opportunity to cook for ourselves as well as visit many of the local restaurants. Thanks to the information package left by the owners and others directions from the manager next door, we were able to take advantage of many local establishments and found that local prices were quite reasonable. Having a central location from which to make day trips was part of our plan and we were able to both drive and cycle to Cannes and Nice along the Mediterranean and to Grasse, Valbonne, Tourettes-su-Loup, Vence and St Paul de Vence in the Alpes. Two of our group who are avid cyclists not only did a great deal of local cycling but also attended the Tour de France in Gap. The manager next door was very friendly and very helpful and directed us to many sights and experiences we might have missed otherwise. The villa was well-stocked with furniture, equipment and supplies and we were able to cook wonderful meals in the kitchen and using the outdoor kitchen and cooking fire by the pool. Any of the staples we used from the cupboard we replaced before we left for the next people coming to the villa. The salt water pool was also used daily by all and there were plenty of chairs around the large table and loungers for everyone around the pool. Our group often took the opportunity to walk or cycle to the nearest villages and there were several grocery stores within a short drive. While the road to the villa is narrow, the local drivers were always polite to other drivers, to pedestrians and to the cyclists. While it is possible to stay here without a car, the vehicle made life much easier. We were initially told that the local roads were far too mountainous for cycling but two 'sixty-something' fellows cycled throughout the area, including up the mountain to Gourdon! Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in dieser herrlichen Gegend. Der Pool ist herrlich, die Außenküche ist genial! Leider ist das Haus vor allem unten ziemlich feucht und etwas schimmelig, und eine ordentliche Grundreinigung würde auch nicht schaden.
