Familjen rum har Hide-a-bäddsoffa (Lazy Boy, köpte i '14) med minne skum madrass. Plus en cabriolet / nedfällbar soffa kommer att sova ytterligare 2 barn eller tonåringar. I'll start out by saying that this was an amazing trip and I had a great time . Some of this review is my own fault for not reading a little closer for what I was renting. I was really excited about getting my own beach house that was right on the water.THE BUMMER: It turns out that this is a duplex as I later noticed in the description. I just glanced over it. The house itself you don't notice but I did find it a bit of a bummer that I had to share the deck with another family. Much of my excitement was the hope of waking up in the morning and heading out on the deck in my pajamas with my coffee and it's a little awkward having a conversation when there's another family that's about 15 feet away from you on the same deck in a hot tub. I don't put any of this on the owners as I said I needed to do my due diligence, but I do think it should be noted that it is possible that you would share this deck with another group of people that's in the other suite. The GOOD...The inside was amazing far better than the picture show. It looks a lot cleaner and a lot more updated than the pictures. Check-in was super easy. Location is beyond amazing. Beach access was easy as well made for a great bonfire on the beach.All in all great trip.

Perfect location , short walk down to beach. Check in went smoothly, and the house was perfect. Very nice reclining sofa in the living room, which one of our party decided to sleep on.

Flew in Aunt and 2 cousins from Kansas. A cousin who turned 60 and had not experienced the coast in decades. My aunt who is not very mobile could experience the waves, smells, sunsets, sunrises, with complete joy right off the deck..lifetime memories for the soul

Perfect Spot

We love this little duplex right on the beach! It has everything we are looking for. Beautiful view of the ocean. Beach access right out back. Perfectly stocked kitchen. Super comfy reclining sectional! Wonderful owners that are easy to get in touch with if needed. Just the perfect little spot!

quiet week

minutes from everything yet tucked out of the way. The beach is at our backdoor that gives walking the beach easy access. Watching paddle boarders, wind surfing, and other fun beach activity during the day from the deck and the deer feeding in the f/b yard in the late afternoon was delightful. One of many successful stays at Dory Cove/ Surfside.

Girls weekend

When we walked into the house it was bright and sunny, because of all the big beautiful widows that face the ocean . We would have coffee every morning sitting on the couch watching the waves. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen cupboards were well stocked for whatever we needed. We loved the nice big coffee mugs. There were more spices than normally you would find at a VRBO. The beds were nice and comfy. Just wished for more blankets on the beds. We did find minimal blankets in the closet. Being older women we were able to go down stairs in front of house and return without to much problem, we are in our 70’s. The bathtub was very slippery. Need some sort of mat to prevent falls. Over all it was a great place to stay and we would like to return.

Quiet and calm

Host are great, property is clean well equipped, never disappoints. Sitting at the kitchen table or reading a book on the couch or back deck the Ocean is your sound and view. The ocean waves are mesmerizing, unique night and day. When the sun shines on the waves crashing in never gets old. Always a pleasure.

Amazing view

Very comfortable house literally right on the beach and in a quiet, private location. The view can not be beat. Comfy beds and furniture, well stocked kitchen and nice deck to sit on. We enjoyed our stay!

Celebration of 40 yrs married

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and clean and well appointed. We had a lot of difficulty with the TV and trying to figure that out. Definitely not as easy as my home TV. The owner was very responsive and took care of problems before we arrived. Ready to stay there

Comfortable home on the beach

Clean and comfortable home with the beach a short walking path down the dunes. Wonderful front room windows to watch the ocean while relaxing on a cozy recliner couch or eating meals. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bathroom was clean, new and had plenty of towels available. The double bed was soft and worked for us. We didn't use the 2 twin beds in the other room. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Stay

Loved the location! House was clean and instructions were very detailed. I missed the part about coffee NOT being supplied, so coffee lovers, plan accordingly! Would love to stay here again, it was very enjoyable.

My husband Dave and I had originally purchased a house in the Taft area of Lincoln City. Although it was very close to beach access, it did not have an ocean view. After owning that house for seven years, we decided to sell it with the goal of having a house with at least some view of the ocean.

Varför värden valde detta boende

It took us almost a year to find this property. Our criteria seemed simple, but all the houses within our reach did not meet the two main requirements: Good ocean view and close beach access. After viewing over 50 homes, this property by far had the best ocean view. Doesn't get much better than ocean front with floor to ceiling windows! To top it off, we ended up with direct access to the beach. The deck offers good visibility for when the kids want to go down to the sand. Younger kids best play in the stream that flows into the ocean, build sand forts/castles, or join up with other kids on the beach.
Originally the concept of having two units was not on our radar. As for any concern with adjoined units, any noise transmission is minimal to undetectable. Over our 12 year-plus history we have had no noise issues.

Frequently younger guests from the two sides will join up to enjoy the beach.
Location is awesome for watching beach activity. On occasion guests report seeing whales. With the right conditions, kite surfers with colorful kites frequent this beach; they can fly unbelievably high into the air. You have to see it to believe it.
