Yosemite West är centralt beläget inuti parkens ingång och ligger nära en korsning av vägarna som leder till parkens mest berömda funktioner: Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point och Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

Detta privata uppdaterade 2-våningshus ligger i slutet av en lugn gata, med ett nätverk av löpar- och vandringsleder runt området. För het? För kallt? Inget problem. Vårt hem har central luftkonditionering för de som är för varma för komfortnätter och central värme för att hålla alla delar av huset toasty.

KÖK / STÄLLNING / DECK
Laga mat bekvämt i vårt fullt utrustade kök med apparater i rostfritt stål i full storlek, bensinsortiment, bänkskivor i granit och fullt utrustade med service för 8 och alla nödvändiga prylar för att förbereda dina favoritmåltider. Skafferi är fyllt med en mängd olika kryddor och individuellt lindade te, socker och grädde. Matsalen har ett bord i pubform för sex och är öppet för vardagsrummet.

Njut av utsikten medan du grillar, äter eller sitter utomhus på vårt expansiva däck på 300 kvm. Du kan välja att grilla på en GAS BBQ-grill (belägen på däck) eller grilla på en fristående, gjutjärn, CHARCOAL-grill (belägen på den lägre nivån framför huset).

PICKNICK KORG
Vi har tillhandahållit en picknickkorg och svalare för en spontan picknick i parken. Picknickkorg serverar 6 och innehåller individuellt lindad salt & peppar. Återanvändbara isförpackningar finns i frysen.

VARDAGSRUM
Rent, ljust och smakfullt inredda, vardagsrummet är ett inbjudande utrymme med en stor och bekväm böjd sektionssoffa, gasspis, platt-TV och massor av DVD-skivor för din nästa filmkväll. Nätverksanslutningen är mycket opålitlig på grund av höjden på de omgivande träden. Vi hoppas att en ny transportör snart kommer in i Yosemite West-området med en mer pålitlig TV-tjänst.

Ett mångsidigt och omfattande bibliotek med böcker är tillgängligt för dig att njuta av inklusive böcker om Yosemite, vandringar och promenader i naturen. EXCELLENT place to stay while visiting Yosemite. Interior is spotless and very cozy to hang and play games or watch TV after a long day in the valley. WiFi (Starlink) and Dish TV was trouble-free. Kitchen has everything you need.Beds were all comfy and especially appreciate having two rooms each with King beds and high quality linens. The bunk room with the full-size bed worked perfectly for our group of 5 adults. My 80 mother also really appreciated everything being on the same floor (once the initial climb up the stairs). The Toto toilet seats were also a big hit with the group, LOL.Our host Judy was always spot-on with communication even after a quick snow storm blew through, she reached out with alternate instructions for parking when we got there (which we didn't need after all, but great planning on her part).When we return to Yosemite or just want a quiet getaway, we'lll be back. Thanks!

Wonderful place to stay! My husband and I, with our 18 month old daughter, stayed 4 nights here and we found it to be a perfect place for families. It’s in a quiet corner of Yosemite West. They have everything you need to cook with, WiFi, and TV. They have a pack n play, high chair and ample space for our energetic girl to run around. There is only 1 set of stairs inside and they have a baby gate for that which we found to be fantastic! There were just a couple minor details in cleaning but overall the place was very well maintained.Judy is very attentive! We had an unexpected winter storm mid October and she guided us on what to do and made sure our family was doing well and safe. We would likely stay here again!

The location of the house was perfect for planning our activities over the 5 days we were in the park. House was very clean and had a nice supply of items for our use along with a nice gas fireplace inside and outdoor gas grill and a charcoal grill. Host was very quick to respond to any questions and gave us additional information due to the government shutdown which happened before we arrived.

Judy is a courteous and helpful host. The home is as advertised; great amenities; clean and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon.

The house is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook almost anything. The walls and bookshelves have some fun surprises if you are a climber. The house is in a cool location that makes you feel like like your alone. It can be a little hard to find in the dark the first time, but the host provides excellent instructions with pictures.Even on Labor Day weekend, it was only 13 minutes from the house to Tunnel View and another 5-7 to the Valley Floor. The hosts are extremely accessible and helpful, even through a black out. We will definitely try and stay here again. Lastly, for those that care, this is appears to be a family's vacation house that they are sharing and not a corporate operated rental house.

Beautiful, well-kept property on a quiet dead-end street! My family of five were visiting Yosemite for the first time to attend my niece's wedding at the Yosemite Valley Chapel. I was initially bummed that all the hotels in Yosemite Valley were fully booked by the time we started really planning our trip, but I'm so glad that misfortune turned into the fortune of staying at the Yosemite Inverness House instead. It was the perfect tranquil sanctuary to come home-away-from-home to at the end of a busy day. Also, my brother and sister-in-law decided to stay with us last minute, and Judy offered her lower private suite to them, which was absolutely lovely and perfect for them. (Thank you, Judy!) Highly recommend this wonderful property if you want a quieter place to stay than Yosemite Valley.

Great place with air conditioning

We went to Yosemite a couple weeks ago; it is a beautiful valley and we highly recommend this vacation. I looked inside the park because I had heard you didn't need a reservation if you had a vrbo inside, which was true. I have adult children and teens and wanted adequate bed sizes. The beds were very comfortable which is a huge plus, and there was air conditioning which was a huge plus for my husband who cant sleep if its hot. It was well stocked with dishes and utensils and basic spices, but note, we failed to bring some condiments that needed to be cold. Make sure you bring your own. The host communicated well. She recommended bringing in our own food which we did and that was super helpful as the closest grocery store is 30 minute drive. It is a 30 minute drive to the valley floor, but we didn’t mind the drive. You can park in the Curry Village and Yosemite village parking and then use there shuttles. We loved having a washer and dryer, because this trip was linked to a wedding trip in Tahoe and we needed to wash clothes in between. I would say the only harder thing was you have to back out your car down a fire lane to get out of the drive way and the host has lots of notes in her instructions to be careful with your water usage, like try to take 5 minute showers instead of 10 minute and fill the sink to wash dishes; don't just run the water. She said they have limited water supply for the neighborhood which is understandable. Overall a great place to stay.

Yosemite Stay

We had a group of 8 (3 kids ages 10-13) stay at the property and we all had a great time. The property was really quiet and very relaxing. The gas BBQ was great. Overall I would highly recommend this property as a base for Yosemite.

Clean & quiet

Very clean and well-stocked home in a quiet corner of Yosemite West. The owner is always available and informative. The kitchen & bathrooms are particularly clean and offer every amenity. There is no traffic as this home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Deer are walking by early mornings and evenings. Excellent home for our week's stay, and we plan to stay here again!

In Yosemite!

Photos are accurate. Property manager communicated everything. Driveway would be a challenge if you are not comfortable parking on steep hill but the property manager tells you all about the parking so there is no surprises. In Yosemite which cuts down on "a lot" of driving. Would stay here again.

Yosemite Thrills

The property was excellent, comfortable, quiet, and perfectly situated for YNP. To be so close to the major sights and not have to go through the entrance gates is wonderful. All we needed was in the house. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the deck after a day of hiking. The owners have thought of everything. A perfect place for your YNP vacation.

Wonderful time spent at the Inverness House

Had a family vacation spent well at Judy's property. Although we reached quite late, the directions provided by Judy were immaculate and we had no issues in finding the property. The checkin process was hassle free. The property was neat and clean on our arrival. It had all facilities needed to help make the stay relaxing and smooth. Special mention would be the central heating and the heated toilets. Those were game changers considering the weather was in the low 40s. Judy as a host is one of the best we have worked with. She made sure that we always felt at home during the stay. There was a small issue with the dishwasher and once Judy came to know of this, she made sure to provide a certain amount as refund. This was tryuly a very generius gesture. We had a great time with family at the Inverness House. Thank You Judy for being a great host. We will love to be back at the Inverness.

Fall in Yosemite

We stayed a couple days in late September. The house is a bit difficult to find but the directions provided by the owner made it easy. The house had everything we needed and was right inside the park so we got to see all Yosemite had to offer. It is well off the grid but the wi fi had a good strong connection. There isn’t a grocery store or restaurants nearby so come prepared to cook. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Yosemite is an amazing place and we would stay here again if we visit in the future,

Fantastic stay in the park!

This home in Yosemite was perfect for our extended family vacation. Very comfortable beds, plenty of linens, pantry stocked with nice selection of basics. Most importantly, it was a convenient location to the major hikes and climbing in the pRk.spices and basics.

I have loved Yosemite since my teens. We climbers drank straight from all the rivers, and spent our days on the granite walls. In my early 20s, I climbed every major cliff in the Yosemite Valley, had barely enough money to buy a beer, and hitchhiked everywhere I couldn’t walk. My best memories…

This place is 12 miles from El Capitan Meadows, the best picnic spot in the Valley. At about 5500 feet above sea level, it’s nice and cool all summer when the Valley is sweltering. At the edge of the Yosemite West, there’s no development on any lot surrounding this one, so it’s private.

Location, location, location. Yosemite West is located inside the park entrance, and sits near an intersection of the roads leading to the park's most famous features: Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. These popular park destinations are all within 15-18 miles (30-35 minutes) from Yosemite West in three different directions. And for winter fun, we enjoy the Badger Pass ski area (only seven miles away).
