Muhlebach Family Retreat är en lyxig och vackert renoverad familjeret; en fantastisk plats att tillbringa sommaren med familj och vänner. Det renoverade 3800 kvadratmeter, 5 sovrum 5 badrum, den perfekta resan för familjer och retreat. Gourmetköket och det fantastiska stora rummet har plats för alla dina gäster. I slutet av din dags äventyr kan du njuta av badtunnan mellan stjärnorna eller spela pool med publiken.

Huvudnivån är det stora rummet som har slående funktioner som den 22 fot höga handplockade floden sten spis och en 400 år gammal återvunnen redwood bar med plats för 7. Köket erbjuder en ny vacker Viking-serie med en inbyggd spjäll och nya Jenn-Air speed-ugnar. Kockens kök är fullt lager inklusive servis för 18. En snabb promenad till däck tar dig till 7-personers badtunna för en avkopplande natt under stjärnorna.

Gå nerför en trappa och du har fyra rymliga sovrum med 500+ trådräkningar Supima. Befälhavaren svit har en king size-säng, sten spis, en 2 person Jacuzzi badkar och ett däck på väg ut på baksidan. Gästsviten är ett perfekt kungrum med skiffer och badrum i granit. De övriga 2 rummen delar ett badrum med dubbelt handfat. Det ena rummet har en queen size-säng och en solstol. Det 4: e rummet har en queen size-säng och en tvilling över full våningssäng med däck och tillgång till trädgården.

Under sovrummen är 900 kvadratmeter avkopplingsutrymme och barnen reträtt. Familjerummet har ett biljardbord och en 60-tums TV. Det andra rummet är ett våningssäng för 6 med eget badrum med dubbla handfat och badkar över dusch. Barnen älskar sina egna kubbar i varje våningssäng utrustad med eluttag och USB-uttag. Gå ut ur familjerummet till den rymliga trädbevuxna reträtten där träd och grönområden finns i överflöd.

En nära promenad (10 minuter) är Tahoe Donner Rec Center and Lodge med två pooler, gym, restaurang / pub och golfbana. Du har tillgång till gäster till alla Tahoe Donner bekvämligheter inklusive golf, tennis, strandklubb vid Donner Lake, 3 pooler och fitnesscenter bland andra.

Under sommartid och helgdagar föredrar vi veckolånga hyror som är fredag till fredag eller söndag till söndag. Vår policy är högst 10 vuxna. Extra gäster kan vara möjliga mot en extra avgift.

Wonderful home

A great house for our 4 families; this is our second year in a row coming here and we hope to keep coming going forward! The owners are great, with excellent communication and clear instructions for arrival/departure. Really just no complaints whatsoever.

Summer family vacation

We liked the house & location, but needs some maintenance and minor repairs (patio door handle , shower door handle; hot tub maintenance, smoke detectors malfunctioning). The ad for the house said we had full access to the rec center pool & fitness, but I don’t recall it mentioning a $20. Fee per person>6. The host was quickly responsive to texts. Again we loved the location and area, just had some issues with the house.

Fantastic, comfortable, spacious, fun home

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for our 4 families, which surprised us because we had never tried to find a single house for that many people before. But the setup works great: the common areas upstairs afforded plenty of room for all of us to hang out together, although it was rarely tested as the bottom floor had all sorts of space and diversions for the kids, right next to their own bunk room and bathroom. The middle floors were perfect for us four couples and a couple of the littler kids to sleep closer to their parents. The yard was perfect for some serious sledding runs and snowball fights, and the hottub provided well-needed rest after skiing/snowboarding. Everything worked well and was in great condition, and the love and care of Matt and his family was evident throughout. Matt was great with communication and obviously a really nice person. We're all looking forward to booking a trip here again next winter!

Home was plenty big enough, lots of space for adults and children. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. I would definitely stay here again.

Tahoe Family Vacay

The property is beautiful, open and a comfortable space. The host was very responsive and helpful. We BBQ'ed, went on walks and watched the stars from the top deck. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we hope to come back next year. It is one of the only places I have found that was able to accommodate my large family. Spent a day at Donner Lake and the next day on the Truckee River. All very close and easy to get to. Thank you, Matt!

Great Place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful cabin, clean, stocked well and very easy to communicate the Matt. We would definitely rent this place again. It’s a beautiful area and close to the lake, golf and other activities we enjoyed.

Great family getaway

House was perfect for our family of 8 kids, 8 adults. Plenty of space. Game room downstairs was great for kids. My one son has allergies to dust, cats and dogs and he had no issues in this house where we have had issues in other houses we’ve rented. One thing to keep in mind is to crush cans and minimize trash throughout the week as the trash can was full upon arrival (assuming from previous renters) so we had to be careful to not have more trash than the beatbox could hold. Kitchen was well equipped. We cooked several meals for large groups and there was enough space for multiple people to be working at the same time. Lots of games available which were fun. Hot tub was clean and nice during chilly evenings and mornings. Would definitely return to this home and recommend to others.

Awesome family house

We were a large family group with adults and kids. The house worked extremely well for us. It’s very well-stocked for cooking One highlight was the kids bedroom and recreation room on the bottom level. There was also a lot of equipment for the baby we had with us and many games and toys for the six and nine-year-olds. The owner was readily available by text and phone and was very easy to work with. We highly recommend this house.

What a way to spend Spring Break

Fantastic stay for a party of 10 people. The check-in process was super easy, the house was incredibly well-equipped and we had an amazing time. Took advantage of the sleds and built a killer sled track right out the back steps. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone. There was more than enough space for everyone and we had a great time.

Tahoe Trip March 2023

This property is truly amazing! The location was perfect…just minutes from shopping and dining. The owner (Matt) quickly answered questions we had when we arrived. Perfect layout…living room, kitchen, dining room, and jacuzzi on the main floor and then the rooms on the floors below. The bunk room and the pool table (bottom floor) were a big hit with the kids!!! Look forward to coming back next year!!!

Perfect for 3 Generations

The whole family had a great time. 6 kids played by themselves a lot. Someone had made a great sled run behind the property. Clean, beautiful, and the kitchen was well stocked. Property manager was helpful, even with weather reports. Exceeded our expectations. Lots of thoughtful extras.

Great House for Multiple Families

Beautiful and spacious house in a great location. Had all of the amenities we wanted in a Tahoe house from a hot tub to a shelf full of games and puzzles. Plenty of space for 3 families to spread out. We cooked every night and had everything we could possibly need for meal prep. Host was easy to work with and helpful with suggestions. The only issue we had was the overall cleanliness. Perhaps housekeeping was overwhelmed but we thought the kitchen could have been cleaned better-there was some old food in the back of the freezer, the pantry shelves were filthy, the floor was dirty and we found clothes behind furniture while trying to plug a lamp in. We didn't have a bath mat for each shower/tub and some bathrooms had beach towels hanging in them so that was a bit confusing. Overall it's an amazing house and we would return!

Perfect!

We spent a lovely weekend in this great home. The location and views of the forest are perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and all the amenities are perfect. There was so much snow and sledding and snow play directly out the back door. Great communication with the owner who was even keeping us updated on some potential road closures. My children and grandchildren and I all had a lovely peaceful weekend!

Family Fun

Matt's house is spread out over three levels and well equipped to handle our 3 generation family. It is everything we could imagine to give us a comfortable and fun weekend in the mountains. We found our host easy to comminicate with. The Tahoe Donner area is a beautiful location.

Great time

This was exactly what we were looking for the place had more then enough space for the whole group we had three kids age 11,5,and 2. The had a blast down in the big room they loved the bunk beds they all got to choose which ever one they wanted and every one had plenty space the kitchen was perfect for the ‘chief’ in are group from cooking Breackfast in the morning to grilling steak’s in the evening. Was perfect I would recommend stay if you have a big group with kids. And of course would stay again

Wonderful and roomy mountain house

The house has a nice great room with the kitchen, dining room and living room all together. We spend most of our time here cooking, playing games, watching movies and sitting by the fire. There is also a nice hot tub right off of this room. The bedrooms were also spacious and well-appointed. The kids loved the pool table room as well. Overall great house and great host. Great Christmas vacation!

We stayed over Christmas weekend with family and had a blast! They have a ton of toys in the bunk room for kids. We were able to sled out in the back everyday and build really fun runs. Matt was very responsive when I had questions about the property, they also had an information sheet about the property when we got there. This is a special vacation rental. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect for families

We had an amazing extended weekend at Matt's home. The house was perfect for our 3 generations family gathering. The cousins loved sleeping in the bunkroom, and each adult couple had a comfy retreat room. The main living area is bright and cheery, and overlooks the beautiful mountains and forest. Its's well located within the Tahoe Donner community. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked...even a burr grinder for all the coffee "snobs" we have in our family! In fact, the entire house is well appointed. We loved this place and were sad when we had to leave.

What an Amazing Home!

We stayed at Tahoe Donner as a family group of 13 (8 Adults/2 Teens/3 kids) and we had plenty of room to spare. The kids loved it. They had room to roam and we didn’t feel on top of each other. The house was super clean and comfortable. We ended up staying during the Dec 2021 Storm and we were snowed in for a week with a couple of days without power. We could not have asked for a better place to be! It was such a fun adventure and we made memories for a lifetime! Some of the best snow play and sledding was right outside the door. Matt is the ABSOLUTE best!! I can’t say enough good things. He communicated with us through the entire process and made sure we had everything we needed including weather and traffic info and shovels which we used…every day. We could not have asked for a better host. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here.

We are a family of 4 living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our family loves to retreat to the mountains both for the sun in the summer and the snow in winter.

We chose this property for easy access to the Bay Area and it's close proximity to the lodge including the great restaurant, bar and pools. We also love the ability to comfortably have multiple families enjoy the vacation together with the parents having private space and the kids loving their bunk room getaway.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The house is great for multi-families or a multi-generational family. The house walks in flat to the street with the wonderful great room for socializing, 4 bedrooms are the level below where all of the beds have memory foam toppers and 500 count linens. The lower level is kid heaven with a great bunk room that has 3 sets of built-in bunk beds with cubbies and USB chargers and ligths in each. There is an attached bath with double sinks. The room next to this has the 60' TV and 8-foot Olhausen slate pool table.

You cannot find a better place to have families gather.
