Place is beautiful and convenient.!!

Place is beautiful and convenient. We had 4 small families, and all had our own space for sleeping and room for adults to mingle and cook upstairs while kids played downstairs. Kids loved playing in the snow around the property. Easy to get to the downhill resort & snow play park. House is furnished well and has all the amenities in the kitchen you need! A wonderful visit. Charles and Joanne's place was perfect for our two family trip. There was a kids living room and an adult living room, making movie night very enjoyable for everyone. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the adults the king size bed accommodations. Beds were very comfy, which is a rare find in most rentals. Hot tub was also a fantastic treat.

Beautiful house in the woods - but near Truckee

This is a beautiful modern house and the listing is very accurate. The owners were on top of everything and made the process seamless. Our only issue with the property was that the 5th bedroom is a bonus room (as described in the listing) and the queen fold out has a very uncomfortable mattress. Suggest that owners add a memory foam topper for comfort.

Great Home!

The house was very clean and just as the pictures and listing described. More than enough room for 8 adults. The house was fully stocked, leaving nothing out. The neighborhood is really nice, serene, and very close to three great golf courses. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return again.

One of the most thought through homes we've ever stayed at.

One of the most thought-through vacation home rentals we’ve ever stayed at. Everything possible thing had been thought through. Charles and Joanne's home was really lovely. It fit our party of 8 perfectly and comfortably. Great stays are often about the details — this home smelled really nice all the time, it was set at the perfect temperature — we never had to touch the thermostat. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The closet was stocked with pool towels and lots of comfortable throw blankets for everyone. Everything smelled freshly laundered...as sometimes you wonder if blankets are ever washed. The pool table, the big TV room, and the hot tub all kept the different ages in our group happy and occupied. The kitchen was very well stocked, and everything was in very good condition. I was impressed to see that the water filter on the fridge read "good" and not "replace." Details. The boot and glove dryers in the garage were a nice touch, and having an electric vehicle was a huge plus to have a charger at the house. Charles and Joanne are friendly, attentive, and responsive hosts. Would return!

Comfortable home away from home

Nice and clean house, great for groups. Host had excellent communication and quickly answered all our questions. Location is near a small sledding slope and ice skating rink, sleds are provided at the house. Lots of food options from Asian to Mexican. We’d definitely be back.

Lovely stay! Would love to return sometime.

Beautiful setting looking out at the trees. Loved the back deck area for grilling and eating outside. All the living areas were perfectly separated for our three small families to be together yet still have private space. The kitchen was well-appointed and spacious. The weather was quite hot (90s) the weekend we were there, and the downstairs stayed cool throughout the day. We went to the rec center pool a couple of blocks down the hill, and the kids had a lot of fun there. We would love to return someday!

Best vacation ever!!

This property was so much more than we could have hoped for. It was what they advertised and promised. We enjoyed the amenities, the easy drive into Yellowstone and especially just sitting on the back deck in the rocking chairs with the absolutely amazing views. I would rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to vacation.

Amazing cabin!

We just finished our second stay at the cabin in the past three years and it was just as good if not better this time than the first time. The place was immaculate and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay in the snow. The owners are fantastic and excellent with communication. Overall, our party of 7 had a fantastic time and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Tahoe area.

Worth every penny - and more.

Honestly one of the nicest, most well appointed STR's that we've ever stayed at. First of all, everything worked flawlessly and was extremely well maintained ~ hot tub, ski equipment dryers, game room, big screens, kitchen appliances..... Everything was in like-new condition. The owners are communicative, extremely gracious and easy to work with. Great location, private and quiet. You can certainly spend more in the area on an STR (and we have) but why would you?? This will be our go to from now on.

Excellent Stay

Charles and Jo were a pleasure to work with. They made the process very seamless and easy for our family when checking in and gave us detailed information about the property with their guidebook prior to our stay. They are so easy to work with and so kind. The house is amazing! It is well stocked, clean with comfortable beds and linens. The downstairs zone heater wasn't working and Charles got back to me within minutes, purchased several space heaters from ACE Hardware so that our family would not be cold and was able to find someone to fix it ASAP. The ping pong table was a hit for my kids and nephews. Thank you for making my family's trip amazing. I plan to stay here again soon!

Luxurious comfort in beautiful Tahoe Donner area

Charles and Jo created a wonderful space that is beautifully appointed, functional and comfortable. We spent a long weekend relaxing in the hot tub and playing on nearby slopes as well as the ping pong table. The beds are actually comfortable! This house is big enough that each age group can have their own space. We will be back!
