Oavsett säsong är Skytop den perfekta basen för dina Methow Valley-äventyr. Gästerna kan njuta av spektakulär utsikt, förtrollande djurliv och avlägsenhet - allt inom en kort promenad till Winthrop centrum. Stugan är rullstolsanpassad.
Huvudstugan stod färdig 2014 och ett andra sovrum - den eleganta Treehouse-sviten - lades till två år senare. Bekvämligheterna inkluderar elbilladdarport, återvunna bänkskivor i bänkbanan, eldstad och grill, ett omfattande bibliotek och DVD-samling, höghastighets Wi-Fi och till och med en invånare kändis: "Sue", en kopia i fältet i full storlek Museets berömda T-Rex skalle. Artistic, classy and relaxing - Lovely stay

A very lovely getaway. The environment was classy yet relaxing, having everything we could need. The space was private but also close to town. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

SkyTop in Winthrop,WA

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at SkyTop. Place was immaculate, kudos to the housekeeping service. It was quiet, relaxing, well equipped, and in a fairly private setting with a great view and gorgeous sunsets. A five star stay for sure! Hope to stay there again!

Perfect lil retreat

I stayed here for a week while in Winthrop for a workshop. Skytop is so lovely and is really what rentals should be - all the comforts from home plus little extras that make for a special stay. Everything was perfect and the view is unbeatable. I even had a sweet lil deer visitor on my porch one morning! Would definitely stay again.

A very special place

We had a great time at Skytop. Perfect location, very cool architecture, one of a kind decor (in a good way). We had guests in the Treetop Suite on a few weekends and they love it. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Definitely a wonderful place.

Short stay, wish it would have been longer!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this vacation rental! The location couldn't have been better — perfectly central and just minutes away from downtown, which made exploring the area effortless. Whether we wanted to grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, or head out for a daily adventure, everything was close by and super convenient.One of the highlights of our trip was relaxing on the patio each evening. The sunsets were truly breathtaking — easily some of the most beautiful we've ever seen. It became our favorite part of the day, just sitting back and soaking in the view.Inside, the home was just as impressive. It was spotless upon arrival, clearly well cared for, and had a modern, cozy feel that made us feel right at home. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed.Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the prime location, stunning sunsets, and immaculate interior, it was the perfect home base for our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

Two night stay

Skytop was great. Basics were already provided in the house so it was really easy to stay and the location was really close to town. Communication with the owner was also really easy and he was very responsive.

Skytop Gets Top Marks

We had a lovely stay at Skytop. The location is perfect and the views are serene. The vacation rental is well appointed. Access to North Cascades and the popular hikes is an easy, straight forward drive. Our communication with Michael was positive - he was very responsive and helpful.

Winter Getaway

Once again our family had a lovely winter getaway at Skytop. This gorgeous home is conveniently close to Winthrop yet feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. We can't wait to come back next year!

Fantastic Place

Stayed 8 nights. Expectations met in every way. The property is as-described or better. Very clean, very well maintained, and very well appointed throughout. Arrive with a bag of clothes and a couple of sacks of groceries and you’ll be all set. There are good grocery stores in both Winthrop and Twisp (real grocery stores, not just convenience stores). Highly recommend and hope to return myself.

Great location and artistic ambience

Skytop is truly a work of art! The setting and views are magnificent. The location is fantastic. The style of the house and the many artistic touches blend perfectly with the surroundings. It is both an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable experience. The house is really well equipped and a joy to cook and eat in. And Michael is a very attentive host. Kudos to this fabulous VRBO!

Fantastic home base for all of your Methow Valley adventures

Beautiful home and property with all the amenities you need. The location is perfect, just a short walk into Winthrop and short drive to Twisp and Mazama while still feeling quite remote. Michael is a wonderful, communicative host and the property was spotless and very well equipped with dishes, cookware, and pantry essentials. This was our second stay and we plan to be back frequently, highly recommended!

Fabulous getaway!

My mom and I traveled to Cascade National Park for an early birthday celebration. The place was minutes from downtown town Winthrop. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The own is very accessible by phone, email, and text.

Skytop is amazing, a work of art! Beautiful hilltop location. Our favorite time each day was sitting on the patio in the morning and evening enjoying the quite, just birds singing in the background and deer grazing near by. So peaceful.

A uniquely refreshing retreat

The home was perfect for 4 of us, and even better than expected, as the many prior reviews have noted. Very calming and zen like after a long drive. Listening to the Rhythm and Blues Festival from the home’s patio was a bonus… Early a.m. coffee on the patio included deer, chipmunks, and a gorgeous view. Michael was very flexible and accommodating. Would love to return…

We want to come back to Skytop! It's great.

My wife and I stayed at Skytop for several nights to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. And what a great place it is! From its well-equipped kitchen to its funky industrial theme (including electrical insulator table legs), we enjoyed it immensely. The bed is comfortable, everything works well, and the rainfall shower is pretty neat. And then there's the T.Rex skull over the fireplace and all the cool metal art both inside and out. The location was perfect for us, being close to Winthrop but away from the "maddening crowds" there. We've stayed in a number of vacation rentals, and this one is our favorite. We'll be back!

A Touch of the Cretaceous, in the Spirit of Georgia O'Keeffe

I won't bore you by repeating the superlatives of the many previous 5-star reviews, other than to say that we totally agree with them. With an interior apparently inspired, at least in part, by Georgia O'Keeffe, this is truly a unique home (e.g., how many places have a full-sized replica of a T. rex skull). It's a place that we'll (and likely you'll) never forget, and it was indeed a privilege to spend the better part of three beautiful fall days here. We especially appreciated that Skytop is in easy walking distance to Winthrop, where we enjoyed delicious dinners at the Carlos 1800 Mexican Grill & Cantina. Adios, Skytop, esperamos verte de nuevo algún día.
