Trevligt Cape Cod-stil hem ligger vid foten av The Berkshires och bara 11 miles nordväst om Lenox och Tanglewood. Huset ligger på en solig knoll omgiven av 2. 8 hektar mogna skogar som ger bra integritet. Huset har ett modernt kök med granitplattor, vardagsrum, matsal, två sovrum, badrum, skärmad in, möblerad 3-säsong veranda med TV och en dagbädd som omvandlar till en dubbelsäng på 1: a våningen. På andra våningen finns ett sovrum och ett badrum med eget familjerum / den som innehåller en rulla säng som sover två. Det finns också ett ytterligare kök på andra våningen. Huset är lätt att passa för två familjer eller par som semestra tillsammans, men erbjuder även privatliv för båda. Huset är idealiskt för en romantisk semester eller familjesemester och utforska Berkshires kulturella rikedom under vår, sommar och höst.
Kom vinter, huset är perfekt för par eller familjer att komma tillsammans för att åka skidor på Jiminy Peak (25 min. Norr) eller Butternut skidområde (30 min. Söder. Hemmet ligger 3 minuter från Queechy Lake, som har springmatad fiske, en privat strand för bad, kajakpaddling, paddling och fiske. Tanglewood ligger bara 11 miles bort, tillsammans med The Berkshires många kulturella och destination attraktioner, inklusive Normandiska Rockwell Museum, Jacobs Pillow, Saratoga Springs, Lenox, 3 skidorter, loppmarknader och gårdar står (under säsong). Du kan shoppa och antika under dagen i närheten Hudson, NY eller på Outlets och sedan ta en lugn middag på kvällen på någon av de många fina restaurangerna i Lenox, Stockbridge eller Great Barrington.

Lovely large property best suited for adults. We were able to use the property as a home base and complete day trips in every direction.

Wonderful house, quiet area

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Andre's home. Beautiful property, and a very comfortable house that had everything we needed. Some of the decor was truly unique and fascinating! With Canaan having been my mom's home town, the location was perfect, and meant a lot. Thank you, Andre for our short, but great stay!

A gem in the woods

What a wonderful house. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. There was nothing the house lacked. The outdoor fire pit was cozy, the pergola was spacious and the landscaping was lovely. The location was convenient to so many things we were in the area to do.....bike, hike, golf and sightsee in the Berkshires!

We are coming back!

This home is lovely! Very well appointed! Roomy, and comfortable, tucked into nature with birds and beautiful landscaping. The upstairs was very cozy. The only thing I could say that might be a bit negative as it would not be very handicap accessible. We were expecting an elderly friend who did not make it, but it would’ve been difficult for her anyway. A second hi 5 for the comfort, and again, gorgeous! We ARE coming back!

Lovely stay!

Wonderful, unique home in a beautiful setting. So many interesting things to look at and enjoy! We were able to make use of the fireplace and we also enjoyed watching an Easter Sunday service on the TV in the enclosed porch area while it was snowing outside! We really appreciated the separate living space upstairs, as well. Great stay - would stay there again!

Winter Getaway

Property was well maintained, clean and had everything we needed for a couples winter getaway. Planned to ski two days however a storm altered our plans but found a nearby orchard that offered snowshoeing and hard cider/wine tasting in front of a cozy fireplace to boot! Easy drive to Jiminy Peak for a day of skiing and then back to the house for an evening in front of a roaring fire. Highly recommended.

Cozy Country Retreat

A jewel of a home, perched on a hill. While from the road this house looks small, it is comfortable and its ample spaces are welcoming and chic: the decor - art, furnishings, even the books - Make a worldly traveler feel right at home here. This is a clean, comfortable, well-kept house: The breezeway was stocked with firewood for cozy nights by the fire. Bed linens and towels in abundance. The kitchen was fully outfitted (stemware/full set of dishes, cookware, updated appliances) for hosting a small dinner party. The landscaped gardens were gorgeous even in winter - trees and shrubs thoughtfully designed for 4 season interest. The Spring/Summer/Fall guest might enjoy the outdoor terrace and fireplace behind the house. Perfect location for exploring the area: Lenox, Great Barrington, Chatham and Hudson a short drive away through gorgeous countryside.

Great House in Central Berkshires

This house was exceptionally clean and well stocked, it was more like a hotel than rental house. There were lots of clean towels, the sheets were great, the soaps and shampoo provided were exceptional. There was lots of room for our party of 6. The house is located only a few minutes from the MA boarder so it is in a great location to explore the area. The house is well decorated which for us was both a pro and con. The adults in the group appreciated it but we needed to make sure the 6 and 8 year old were careful around all the nick nacks. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the house.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

This home and its surrounding grounds were amazing! The house was beautifully decorated and clean. My two friends and I enjoyed the many spaces provided for lounging, chatting, and relaxing. The location is close to some wonderful restaurants and attractions. I would certainly stay here again!

Quiet get away!

Beautiful and quiet location. House could easily have 2 families with one up stairs and one downstairs. The smell of the lilacs outside when we exited our cars was wonderful. We were in town for a family wedding and it was a cold rainy weekend but the house was warm and cozy with plenty of room for 6 adults.

Summer stay

We really enjoyed our time in Canaan and made use of North Adams Beach on Queechy Lake, which was perfect for our 5-year-olds. The house was cozy and perfect for our family!

You couldn't ask for more!

Stellar: beautifully situated; private and wooded; separate apartment upstairs; impeccably decorated; thoughtfully stocked with everything you could wish for from towels to tea. The owner is to be commended. Would return and stay longer as perfect home base to explore the Berkshires in Mass and this region of NY. Only 30 minutes to Lenox.

Gorgeously decorated and super cozy

We loved our stay at Andre's beautifully appointed home. The house is close to skiing and all other Berkshire attractions and very comfortable - there was plenty of room with two full living rooms (one on main floor and one on upper level). Kitchen is updated and stocked with everything you need. Andre was also very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend — we are picky customers and we will definitely return!

WiFi was down during our stay, and cell service a bit spotty, but with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, we didn't mind the lack of time on our phones. The beds and many living areas we're exquisite.

Spacious and private

My 3 sisters and I met at this property for a weekend gathering and just loved it! It is beautiful, peaceful and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were appreciated!! We especially loved the 3 season porch for having our cocktails. We would definitely stay again if in the area and would recommend it for those who want to spread out bit and don't mind being a little off the beaten path.

House is easily suitable for two-families vacationing together but who still want their private space. Second floor has a family room w/additional sleeping and one bedroom and includes a full bath. The bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be converted to a king bed; and there is a trundle bed in a corner of the family room that converts to 2 twin beds.
