House was exactly like pictures. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen was great for cooking and stocked with a lot of extras that are not typically in rentals. Our kids loved the home and location. The a/c did a great job keeping the place cool even in the excessive heat!

Very happy with our stay in this house! Roomy and clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Close proximity to beach, pool and hot tub. Lots of beach gear available to use. The host is easy to work with and responds quickly to any questions. Looking forward to returning!

Perfect getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seashell Sanctuary. Beautiful house and beach! Super close to beach and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!!

Beach vacay

The closeness to the beach was great. We enjoyed our stay. It had all the things needed. Bring beach towels, luckily we did. It was a nice quiet vacation for us.

Family vacation!

Property provided everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach toys. Easy access to beach and pool was well maintained. Family is continuing to expand so may need to rent both sides next time!!

It was a wonderful property. Well equipped kitchen and beach gear. Location was outstanding for both the beach and pool. Only complaint is TV in third bedroom didn’t work but who needs a TV with such beautiful views. It was clean and quiet. Air conditioning also worked great and is a must in the summer months. Would definitely stay here again.

This is now our new favorite place to stay at The Plantation. We have been coming to The Plantation for over 10 years, and our 1st time stay here, and we loved it. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room. The beds were all comfortable no complaints from anyone. We had a couple of questions and Darryl was fast to respond. We cannot wait to come back next year.

This is the Place

If you are looking for peace and quiet and beautiful beaches and a spacious and beautiful home to visit family in - this is the place. My husband and stepson and I had a great time. We had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to spread out in, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beach was a few steps away and we had access to a large indoor heated pool and great outdoor hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

Impressive House with Plenty of Room

This was an impressive house with plenty of room. Right across from the pool and the boardwalk to the beach. House was very clean and organized. The owners had plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys for the little ones. Will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect family getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children. The property was easy to access, close to the pool, and close to the beach. The decor is beautiful. There is storage on the ground level with chairs, floats, and sand toys. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to cook. We will definitely be back.

great location

overall great stay two problems one the bedroom off the kitchen does not get enough air conditioning and second bring your own toilet paper the stuff the have is not good. other then that it was fully stocked, bikes, grill, and boogie boards to use. Had a great time

Love the plantation

Love the plantation. Sandshell is super roomy. 7 stayed with no problems. Having beach equipment there was fantastic! The place was truly stocked! As in all vrbo rentals, the kitchen is filthy!

Wonderful

We could not have asked for anything more. We have stayed at this location near Ft Morgan for several years but first time at this property. We have wanted to stay at this property for a long time, it usually is booked the week we come. It was perfect, I can see why it is always booked. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Great winter getaway!

This charming beach house did not disappoint our family, seeking a little sunshine in the dregs of February. Steps from the beach ... indoor pool, steam, room and sauna ... plenty of friendly faces. It took a little time to understand the layout of the vast resort, but once we did, we were very glad we took the time to explore. House has super soft beds, marvelous light-filled spaces, and lots of space for a family to spread out.

We would return

The reviews capture the stay. Our highlights with a family of 4 (two children ages 7 and 4). - perfect access to the beach and two outdoor swimming pools. - kitchen and outdoor seating provided us with comfortable, efficient dining. - convenient and hassle free communication prior to arriving, during check in, and during stay. - appreciated being close but far enough away from gulf shores main drag and also close to Fort Morgan and fairy. We would return and recommend to our friends.

Exceeded Expectations!

We were delightfully pleased with our stay at the Seashell Sanctuary! The unit is very well maintained! The beds were comfy & shower pressure was on point. The access to the amenities was great - we def took advantage of the gym, sauna, indoor pool & hot tub. This was our first time vacationing to the gulf coast & the beach did not disappoint. My only complaint is that we did not have more time to stay. Thank you to Darryl and wife for being outstanding hosts! We look forward to booking again soon!

2023 Seashell Sanctuary A

Loved the property! It was the perfect size to accommodate our family. The kitchen was well stocked with items necessary to cook any meal while we were there. Loved the griddle! Probably used it each time when cooking a meal. The property is conveniently located to available amenities and it was just a short walk to the beach. Only a short drive to Golf Shores for a large selections of eating establishments and shopping. For family enjoyment The Fort Morgan area was not as crowded as other beaches. Our family enjoyed the beach, multiple property pools, great restaurants, observing the Blue Angels Practice Session in Pensacola FL, Brandon Styles Theater in Foley AL, and the Blacksmith Experience in Robertsdale AL. Fabulous family vacation!!

Perfect location, fantastic host!

This property is just beautiful. The design and furnishings are lovely, and every room reminds you you're on vacation! The proximity to the beach is perfect. Absolutely no trouble running back to the house if you've forgotten something. The beach is gorgeous, with water clean enough that you can see the fish several feet under, and small waves that are perfect for children. We had some bug issues, which is totally understandable given that the news keeps saying bugs have been really bad this summer. However, what I want to highlight is that Darryl (host) was on the phone with me within 10 minutes of my sending him a message Saturday night, and he had someone out to spray for bugs on Monday morning. He is such a nice guy, and truly cares about his property and guests' experience. All in all, no complaints and we'd happily stay here again!
