Lokelani stay

Arrived with chocolate macadamia nuts on the counter, communication was very easy and straightforward, the only really important part about a unit in Maui to me is the lanai which was awseome… the only issue was the boys slept on sofa bed which was well worn…. Otherwise very well run…

Perfect getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 10/10 stay. The condo is spacious and has plenty of supplies like beach towels, paper towel, soap, and everything you need for cooking. The sunsets are absolutely stunning, as well as morning coffee on the patio. The beach right out front is home to many sea turtles that love to sun bathe and snooze away. There is also great snorkelling on the beach!! Had the best stay and didn’t want to leave. Mahalo!!!

Amazing place

Great location, close to everything, ground floor worked amazing for us with small kids. The place is in a very good shape and actually much better than on photos.

Always love the view!

Great location with low tourist traffic. Great views of the water, Lanai, Molokai, and turtles in the water feasting on the seaweed on the rock wall. The location was great to get to other sites north or south. I will be back! Mahalo!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, location, location! The place is right by the ocean, with good ocean breezes. It was hot (80s) when we were there but the place stayed cool and it never got too hot inside. Place is well stoked with kitchen utensils and laundry detergent. We saw three turtles in different times of the day by the beach. The little beach is private and good for swimming at any time of the day, and only a few people are there usually.

Super nice upgraded, ground level condo with a terrific views of the turquoise Pacific with the islands of Lanai and Molokai as a perfect backdrop for sunsets.

1st time to Maui

We really enjoyed our stay the condo was perfect for my husband and I. There were two things I would of liked 1 being a little better lighting for putting makeup on in the bathroom and a floor fan. We could see the turtles swimming around from the porch. Being right on the ocean was such a plus and the beach area felt like a private beach.

Wonderful place to relax by the ocean

Reviewer Comments: Our stay was unfortunate that we were down with a cold the entire time, but at least we were here instead of at home 35 degree temps.The room was nice as usual but the rug in the living room needs replaced and the hide a bed sofa is broken , very uncofortable to try and sleep on, ended up sleeping on the floor.The toilet needs repair , the dump valve leaks so it kept having to fill the tank all the time.Overall we enjoyed our stay, just wont pick that room to stay in again.

June Lokelani Stay

This was our second stay at Lokelani. We love the location. The property is nestled in amongst several other condos which limits public access to the beach. This made our ocean-front condo feel secluded, almost private. Our condo was clean and well-maintained. Management checked in with us to see that our stay was enjoyable. We will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at Lokelani. For the last 30 years we've stayed about a mile up the road but it was all booked up for our dates so we decided to give Lokelani a try. We very much enjoyed our stay! I read a lot of reviews before we booked so just want to address a few points - yes it is true that maybe some of the decor/furniture is a bit outdated, but we enjoy the kitsch and also everything was well functioning and clean, and we spent most of our time doing activities or sitting outside so having "outdated" style didn't matter to us because we didn't spend all that much time in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of plates, cooking tools etc though we needed to restock oils, spices, foil, ziplocs, etc. Laundry machine worked fine, shower was great (water hot quickly, strong water pressure). We like to have the ocean breeze and fans instead of using AC and felt that it didn't get too stuffy/hot at night with just the fan. It is a bottom floor unit so we definitely got woken up by the people above us a few times (children running back and forth early in the morning, and one of the days what we could only assume was packing since we kept hearing slamming noises), so just something to be aware of if you're not an apartment dweller who's already used to noises like this. In terms of beach access, you'll need to be aware that you have to pay attention to the tides, because sometimes it's easy to walk over to the beach in front of the building to the north of Lokelani, but when the tide is high the waves do get pretty strong and I didn't feel safe trying to jump in and swim over to the beach. But in the mornings it was easily accessible and we'd have a nice walk over there. The unit is very close to grocery stores, coffee, takeout, ABC store, gas, etc. So overall, had a great time, we'd come back and stay in this unit again!

Excellent vacation stay!

This property was very clean and had a wonderful patio that opened out onto a lawn overlooking the waves. Great for spending a relaxing afternoon or stargazing at night! Location was close to Lahaina by car which has lots of activities.

Lovely place to stay in Maui!

I knew from the pictures that this condo was right by the ocean, but I didn't realize just what that meant. The building sits about 20 feet from the sea wall, with a semi-private beach on the edge of the property. I could sit on the porch or just inside and listen to the ocean all day. Every evening different people would sit on the grass watching the sunset. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit!

A105 Review

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love this location. We had 4 units rented out A104, A105 and A106 B 206My unit A105 was really dark. The lighting needs to be improved brighter lights, make sure all of the light work. There were several that were out. A106 needs to be upgraded, water heater was out of commission the first 3 days of the our stay, they popcorn ceiling as dust hanging from the ceiling. Overall the location is great and the beach we had access to was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The units themselves could use a refresh. All three of the lower level units need new mattresses for the bed and the pull outs. Highly recommend doing that ASAP.

Great Condo! Great Location

This condo was clean. It was fully stocked. The view was amazing! We saw turtles swimming in the water in front of our condo many times during our stay! There wasn't a need for AC. It was windy during our stay, and the fans helped. This was my first time staying in Maui, and hopefully not my last. I would definitely stay at the Lokelani Condos again! Thank you for everything!

Perfect stay

We stayed for a week in May. Perfect location, as close to the ocean as it gets. No ac in the unit but it was not needed. Beautiful small private beach and others nearby. The views of the ocean from the unit were unbelievable. Walking distance to the farmers market, fish market, bad ass coffee coffeehouse and other places. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We thought the mattress in the bedroom could have been more comfortable but not a big issue for us. We would recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.
