We had a very nice stay. Very good communication from the owner. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. The location was wonderful. It was quiet and laid back but was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, ice cream, and most importantly a wonderfully short walk to the beach. You have to cross one main street but there is a crosswalk so it is easy. It was a pain having to bring our own towels, sheets, etc. but it seems all of the rentals in the area require you to provide your own. We do plan to go back next year and if it is available, would stay here again.

Great location

The location was great owner was very responsive in communication. Quiet residential street on the bay. We crossed one street to get to the beach. It was a main road but there is a crosswalk and light so it made it easy. We could easily walk a few blocks to be in all the action of the bars and restaurants.

Plenty of space, great location

We enjoyed our stay here as a group including two teens, parents and grandparents. Plenty of room for everyone, well-maintained home in a great location. Walk to the beach was easy. Communication was excellent throughout!

Great quiet location!

Lou was great and attentive - texting him was easy and we were able to reach out thruout our stay with any questions that came up. Location is great - its a short walk to the beach and in a quiet location with lots of parking (we had three cars). Its a short drive to the boardwalk which didnt bother us. Overall our stay was great - thanks Lou!

Beautiful house and excellent location

Amazing house - nice living area on the top floor with enough place for 2 families. Great location - it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. Owner is very responsive and communicated all directions well. Stocked with some nice fiction books, had loaned us his beach chairs too. We loved staying the week here and want to come back again next summer ! It’s in a lot of demand and we lucked out booking the only week open this season :)

Perfect Family Vacation!!

We could not have had a better experience! The property was exactly as it appeared in the listing and was clean and ready for our arrival. The owner was super nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus! I would definitely book a future stay here and recommend it to my friends!

Clean & Comfortable

We enjoyed the tons of space in the very clean and comfortable property. My two daughters loved hanging out in the loft area. The location is great. We loved being able to walk to the beach and restaurants. The owner was available for any questions throughout our stay. We are hoping to plan another stay here. Highly recommend the rental.

Spring break getaway with kids & dog

Very much enjoyed our stay. A short walk to a nice stretch of Dewey Beach, which we more or less had to ourselves in late March-early April. Lou is a conscientious and engaged host and really looks after guests.

Great property in a wonderful location

It was very clean and bright. The rooms were all as described. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes from door to sand. We had a lovely time and would recommend this property to others.

Just what we wanted!

We were five humans and one dog -- mom, dad, young adult daughter & son, son's girlfriend, and a Great Dane -- and we were all very happy. It was an easy walk to a very nice part of the beach -- adjacent to private beach so somewhat less crowded than other areas. The house had plenty of room for us to be together and apart. We had a great time!

Great weekend getaway!

The property is very well maintained and stocked with your everyday essentials. The location is great because the beach and local restaurants are walkable, but you aren’t in the middle of the crowds & late night scene. The house is very comfortable and clean with amazing sunsets over they bay. I would highly recommend!

Dewey Beach terrific getaway

This is a terrific place to stay, very reasonable rates, clean, well furnished and with a fully equipped kitchen. Overall, this was a wonderful find. The owner Lou was very friendly, very welcoming, and full of helpful information. Instructions for checking in, staying at the house, checking out were all incredibly clear and detailed. Everything was very smooth. I stayed with our family of 5 plus my parents, and it housed the 7 very comfortably. Lots of nice decks for sitting out in good weather, and Dewey Beach's noise ordinances meant that the area and the neighborhood were very quiet, even though there are a lot of people around. This was really nice. The only real drawbacks to the location are that it can take a long time to cross the busy street to get to the beach, and driving anywhere can take a while during traffic. These are NOT major problems, though - otherwise, this was a great place to stay. The house is well laid out with lots of amenities, and we had a really good stay for a very reasonable rate. If you're looking for a place with lots of people around, partying, plenty of noise, tons of shops and restaurants, go farther north - but if like us you want a comfortable quiet well furnished place with easy access to the beach and some restaurants/shops within walking distance, this is the place! Thanks!!!!

Father of five children who treats this vacation home as our home. We rent part time when the children have sports and other activities that detour us from the beach. This creates a desirable rental property that is clean and well maintained.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Quiet block in southern Dewey Beach two blocks below the Rusty Ruddy. Lovely home with all the amenties of your own home. Perfectly located within walking distance of all that Dewey Beach has to offer. You can bike to Rehoboth Beach or take the Jolly Trolley. The Delaware State Seashore park is on our door step. We have been coming to Dewey Beach our entire life and this property was carefully selected. This townhouse is well maintained. We take pride in this property and it shows when you stay here as our guest.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This property is in excellent condition with all the modern amenities for a perfect vacation. Great location with amazing views of the bay and a short walk to the ocean/beach. It is located walking distance to the restaurants, but a away from the hustle and bustle. (GREAT week day rental opportunities in the summer)
