Early season getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is fantastic and we appreciated the proximity to the water and how quiet it was. The condo was clean and well appointed for our stay!

Great Dewey getaway!

This was the perfect place for a weekend trip to Dewey! Close to everything and the condo had everything we needed! Kris was very responsive and helpful!

Property was nice. Super comfortable for us 6. We misunderstood what floor of the building this listing was for- it is the first floor so you don’t really get the bay view. And unfortunately the night we arrived there was some local flooding and this property’s parking spots were in shin deep water, it receded by the next morning.We did not reach out to the owner as there really was no issue, it’s just something to think about if you have a small car.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed (pots, pans, utensils, appliances) to cook and made it so much easier to be able to provide breakfast instead of eating out every meal.We mostly walked during our stay, everything is pretty close and it was an easy walk.

Weekend getaway

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay. Check-in and parking was simple, as was departure. The condo was well furnished and comfortable. We would choose to stay here again!

Great beach weekend

The location was perfect for our family of four on our autumn beach weekend getaway. The condo was cozy, just a brief stroll from the beach, and matched the description perfectly. Kris was exceptionally responsive and helpful. We are very grateful!

Awesome time great place

Came here for a girls trip had such a great time! Location was perfect for us, quiet and unbothered by any neighbors. Perfect amount of space for the 6 of us! 2 pull outs 2 twins and a queen bed. Very clean overall we hope to stay here again!

Nice place, great location

We really enjoyed our time here - the location is great - close enough to walk to the beach and Dewey restaurants and shops. The place was very comfortable for my wife, myself, and our 10yo kids. We would stay here again.

Anchor way

We had such a great time! When we arrived it was clean and was just as pictured in the VRBO photos. It was also nice to be close to where all the restaurants and bars were, but far enough to have a quiet space. The communication with the owner was great too. Overall, we had such a great experience and would book again!

Clean and quiet

The property is clean and in a quiet location, so very relaxing. You must walk across a busy highway to access the beaches so extra care should be given to your safety and the safety of others in your party, especially taking care of children as they cross the busy highway.

Do not stay here. The master bedroom and bathroom was completely infested with hundreds of spiders. They sent their father in law to fix it instead of a professional and we were unable to use the bedroom and bathroom for the entire stay due to the chemicals and all the dead spiders. If the owners had checked the place before our stay this issue would easily have been discovered and fixed before we got there. We booked for 6 and it ended up being very uncomfortable since 2 people did not have a bed and we all had to share one bathroom. I told them how uncomfortable it was for us and requested a partial refund, and in response they brought up how their cleaning crew wanted to charge them extra because of the “mess” we made. We were given zero check out instructions but we still cleaned up thoroughly and took out all the trash without being asked to. When we brought up the partial refund they threatened to charge us a cleaning fees (which are already covered by host fees) which is completely unprofessional. They did not even attempt to resolve our issue and their response was “this issue is closed.” They even charged us 120 without authorization for a bottle cap stuck in the drain even though we did not have any drinks with caps. The bill they sent as proof (only after we asked for it) was very shady. Overall bad experience and we recommend staying away from these shady owners who tried to take advantage of us!!

Don't stay here when it rains!!

Pretty average accommodation. Fairly clean. No linens or towels provided. Instructions didn't clearly delineate the building number and unit number. Biggest issue: The parking lot floods when it rains. Notified landlord. His response (paraphrasing): "Yeah. That happens, sometimes." His mitigation proposal was to tell me we "should be ok" if we parked in some other tenant's space. (Keep in mind, parking is assigned by unit number and there are signs threatening to tow unauthorized users at every space.) Nope. Not gonna do that! Had to deal with soggy feet all weekend. Total bummer.

We grew up going to the beach in the Summer. Dewey is a great town with active night life and a great place to take kids. Being only about 2 miles wide you have choices between the bay and the ocean. The beaches are beautiful and fun all summer long. The neighboring beach in Rehoboth Beach has some great places to eat and take the kids. Some of our favorites in Rehoboth are Funland, and Grottos. You can also spend hours walking on the boardwalk.

Anchor Way is a great street in Dewey. It is the last street in Dewey located right off the bay. It's a quiet location but still conveniently located to everything. No need to get in your car once you get here!

The 3 season sun porch has great views of the Marina. Also with the ever difficult time finding parking, the 2 provided spaces will come in handy. The unit is cozy providing fun summer colors painted in each room!
