utrustad med allt du behöver för att du ska kunna njuta av en underbar semester med komfort och service på ett hotell och värmen från ett riktigt hem. Ligger några meter från basilikan San Paolo Fuori Le Mura och tunnelbanestoppet, (6 minuter Colosseum). Lägenheten har 2 stora dubbelrum, som rymmer en tredje säng, av normal storlek, för ett barn. I det stora köket finns ett bord för sex personer. Vardagsrummet med bäddsoffa. LCD-TV: n är utrustad med SATELLITE TV (Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV). Badrummet med både dusch och badkar. Det är perfekt för familjer med barn eller vänner.
Varje enskilt rum har möblerats med smak och harmoni, tar hand om detaljerna och förser det med alla bekvämligheter (luftkonditionering, diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, strykjärn och strykbräda, hårtork, wifi). Sängkläder, handdukar och diskar ingår i vardagsrummet.
Rökning är förbjuden i lägenheten men det finns en balkong på sovrumssidan och en terrass med en lusthus på andra sidan.

Property is great. Location is perfect. Paolo had a ton of recommendations for everything from food to tourist to shopping. Of our families three stops in Italy, this apartment and city were unanimously the best on the trip. That's no small feat considering the other two locations were great as well. Paolo's place definitely stood above. Thank you for the hospitality!

What could we say....we LOVED the apartment. I would not hesitate to recommend to my closest friends and family. Absolutely phenomenal hosts who went above and beyond, grocery was literally a 2 minute walk, very room by Rome standards, comfy beds, air conditioning, and maybe what I like the most....all the kitchen tools you could need and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a great start to a 2 week trip...our sons' first to Europe and this was a joy to come home to every evening.

Great place to stay

Paolo’s place was perfect. Very clean and spacious and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the courtyard was perfect for relaxing and eating a meal. Paolo gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions. There is also a few grocery stores close by. I would visit again!

Pleasant, well located apartment

Paolo was most welcoming, and offered to pick us up at the airport for free, which he did. He showed us around the apartment and gets 10/10 on hospitality. We felt most welcome.The apartment is very comfortable. We really appreciated the outdoor patio for eating at night. The neighbourhood is not very lively but is safe, calm, and the apartment is well located, not far from the metro, on one of the best metro lines, with a hidden and discreet grocery store literally next door. The only hiccup was that one cannot use the air conditioning and the dishwasher at the same time, because the electrical system cannot take it. Once you know it, you plan accordingly and it becomes a minor annoyance.Overall, I would warmly recommend this location, as this is one of the best apartments we have had over the years.

Great apartment and and great location

We had a wonderful stay here, clean apartment with comfy beds and everything you could poss it want in the kitchen. Bonus supermarket downstairs of the building! Location is very close to the metro and only a few stops into the more touristy areas. Paolo was responsive and helpful and his tips on local places to eat were excellent.

It’s a little gem!

Tidy, compact and elegant apartment a stones throw from the Metro which gets you in the central area in less than 7 minutes. The apartment had everything needed to feel you are living the Roman life for a few days. Paolo is an excellent host always accessible and friendly. Would recommend!

Excellent place to stay for a citytrip

We had a very pleasant stay due to the hospitality of Paolo and Emanuela. Paolo was very kind and helpful. The apartment was tidy and clean, well equipped, and spacious. We were very happy with the location, near a metrostation. You can be in the center of Rome within 20 minutes.

Super convenient to Rome

The apartment is in a quiet Roman neighborhood close to the subway, local restaurants and a grocery. Paola gabe is a personal tour and was responsive to communications. Kitchen well-equipped and the entire place was very clean.

Perfect accommodation for a wonderful city trip. Close to the airport, close to the center. The appartment is clean, spacious and well equipped. Washing machine and dishwasher available, as well as an iron. Paolo and Emanuele are perfect hosts, kind, helpful and very attentive. Well recommended!

Excellent apartment - highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay here. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything you could need. Paolo & Emanuela were excellents hosts, so friendly and helpful, and provided us with a very useful list of restaurant recommendations. The apartment itself is in a great location with bus or metro transport links within a few minutes walk so it was very easy to get into the centre of Rome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this apartment.

Rome stay

Wonderful apartment close to transportation and amenities. Very nice people who provided excellent suggestions for the area and sites to see. The area is very safe and groceries and metro are within minutes on foot. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with all you need and top end appliances that were greatly appreciated especially for our morning smoothies and coffees. They could use some updates to their electrical but we managed ok.

Perfect stay for our family

Excellent! Paolo was absolutely amazing with communication, help and advice and went above our expectations as a host. The apartment is beautifully clean, great location, close to metro and there is a fantastic supermarket right next door. We loved staying here and it was safe and quiet. The metro is so quick into central Rome and our kids loved it too. Paolo knows so much about the area and all the best places to eat! Thank you Paolo.

What a great stay...

We really enjoyed staying for 1 week in Emmanuela and Paolo's appartment in Roma: it was as described, very clean and enough space for 4 people. The kitchen is superbly equipped and all material of very good quality! Locations is extremely good as well: 30 min from the airport and approx 5 min walking to the main metro station - in total 15-20 tavel time to the main attractions such as Colloseum or Forum Romanum. Paolo is a great host, he was even picking us up from the airport and invited us for espresso/ice cream to "warm up". All in all a great experience and we will for sure return once we travel back to Rome. Thanks!!

Escape in Rome

The property was wonderful, we especially enjoyed the outside area. While we were busy most of the time we stayed in this property, coming back was always a good thing. Comfortable bed and peaceful surroundings.The grocery store is very close and has everything you need. The kitchen was nicely equipped and we cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Also having the train station close was a huge bonus. We did not touch our car and just railed into Rome and even to Pompeii.Our host was very nice and communicated promptly. We had clean linens and towels when we arrived. The house was very clean and they even left us drinks and some fruit for the children. A great experience.Parking is nearby on the street, we even found a space for our very large minivan with roof box.The neighborhood is deceiving due to graffiti but after walking around with our children for several days even in the late evening from the train station we had no trouble. If you aren’t from a large city that has this graffiti problem you might think it is unsafe but that was not the case. Just something you see in large European cities from our experiences.

Wonderful experience

The apartment owners are the most wonderful people you could ever meet. We were coming from Ladispoli and Paolo picked us up all the way from there and then took us around to different places in Rome, including a really nice bakery/cafe I had wanted to visit and offered us food and drinks. Then Paolo and Emanuela took us to see more sites and helped us so very much. They are both such wonderful people, so kind and attentive. The apartment is really close to the metro and has everything you need. There is everything in the apartment, including a machine to make centrifughe, multiple coffee makers and kettles, blender, toaster, and much more. There is a fully-loaded LCD in the living room, a beautiful, immense terrace and small balconies off both bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this apartment.

Comfortable and spacious apartment in south Rome

This bright, ground-floor apartment is extremely clean and well equipped, and worked well for two couples staying together. Beds are very comfortable, linens are crisp and white, and both bedrooms have access to a small balcony overlooking the back alley where you can dry laundry. There is no dining room: the eat-in kitchen, though small, is equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking. There is a large patio with a gazebo and table and chairs; we weren't able to make use of it because the patio was under renovation and the weather was damp, but on a nice day it would be lovely to take meals out there (though the patio is not particularly private, you could close the curtains on the gazebo for privacy). The apartment is in a very non-touristy part of Rome, and there's a grocery store right around the corner. The Basilica San Paolo metro is only a five-minute walk away, making it extremely handy for getting to the centre of Rome quickly. The neighbourhood feels very safe, but people not used to Rome might be taken aback at the amount of litter, garbage and graffiti in the area. This is not unusual for residential areas in Rome in our experience, but it can be unsettling. Paolo gave us some great restaurant recommendations for local eateries as well as some further afield.

Traumtage in Rom

Wir (Familie mit zwei Teenagern) haben den Aufenthalt bei Emanuela und Paolo genossen. Vielen Dank dafür, liebe Gastgeber!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, eine gemütliche Terrasse hat uns in den Morgenstunden mit Kaffee in der Hand einen guten Start in den Tag gegeben, super Lage nahe der Metrostation und Gastronomie, Geschäfte sowie ein Markt sind in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Man gelingt schnell und unproblematisch zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und lebt doch etwas abseits von touristischer Hecktik. Auch zum Meer oder zur antiken Stadt nach Ostia gelingt man direkt, schnell und problemlos von der Metro-Haltestelle. Wir haben Rom kennen und lieben gelernt. Das verdanken wir auch den Tipps von Paolo und seiner Fürsorge und sehr netten Art als Gastgeber.

If the property description were honest, my review would have been higher

To start, Paolo is a gem of a human being. A kind, nice, genuine person. But in his zeal to get his place rented he misrepresented that this is no luxury property - not even close - and the neighborhood is not close to anything luxurious. To start, the property is a 2 bedroom, which can easily be a 3 bdrm (if you sleep on the couch), 1 bath, with kitchen and porch. It’s basic. The furniture is older, there are limited storage options - because they’ve been nailed shut - and you will absolutely run out of hot water after 1 shower, and the power will trip if you attempt to use any 2 appliances at once. But it’s passable - so long as you know what you’re getting into. It’s not “luxury,” like the Four Seasons or the Marriott, more like an older Best Western. But the closer you stay in the city, the less options it seems you get if you want a 3/1 or a suite type hotel without it costing an arm and a leg. The neighborhood is interesting. Badly badly graffitied everywhere. In fact, there’s an excellent pizza-by-the-slice place a 3 minute walk away where I yelled at a tagger for tagging his crappy Antifa red flag onto the wall - while onlookers watched. Rome generally has a very bad graffiti problem. For such a beautiful city, the 8 feet from the ground up are generally tagged up and awful. People don’t seem to mind, so it seems. But this neighborhood is badly tagged, more so than other neighborhoods we observed. So that’s an issue if you’re looking for a picturesque Rome.
