Charmig stuga med utsikt över Comosjön. Nedsänkt i det gröna, otroligt lugnt, idealiskt att koppla från den dagliga rutinen. Det erbjuder många möjligheter för båtturer, i bergen, besök i de vackra villorna i sjön, till de många sjöbyarna och att smaka på de lokala gastronomiska specialiteterna. Det är 40 minuter bort. från Milano där du kan besöka otaliga museer och monument samt shoppa i den italienska modhuvudstaden.

A place to enjoy in peace, with a house that feels like home

We enjoyed the coziness of the bright house with a lot of comfort, the beautiful garden and the beautiful view. the hospitable welcome by Brunella and Giovanni and very helpful personal tips to explore the area. A place where we would like to come back again!

San Souci and it’s hosts was Beyond our Expectations!

My wife and I enjoyed a magnificent week enjoying the well manicured gardens, fabulous lake Como view, warm and inviting hosts Giovanni and Brunella and their tremendous Villa. We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. We enjoyed all the surrounding villages and restaurants and felt compelled to return to the villa just to relax and take in the views and sounds of birds and church bells. Truly one of our best vacation experiences. Thank you Brunella and Giovanni. We will return.

Paradise Garden above Lake Como

All aspects of our stay exceeded expectations, which were already high according to the hymnisch praise of guests before us. The lake view, the calm atmosphere ein a lush garden, the amnesties, all was top of class. The nice caring of our hosts, who not only gave us a good insight on cultural and sightseeing opportunities, they also welcomed our two (grown up) daughters joining us on a surprise two day visit. Whether Brunella had also her hand in the excellent weather, we do not know, but it cannot be excluded.

We wanted to spend a holiday without many contacts and in calm - completely withdrawn. 'Sans Souci' is ideal for this (although it is centrally located in Carate Urio). Brunella and her family took this into account, but she was always available for questions. The beautiful house, the beautiful and large garden and the fantastic view, unique. We thank Brunella for her hospitality.

Great cottage with superb view of the lake

Despite the heat we have spent a wonderful week in Sans Souci. Brunella and Giovanni were really excellent host. They were always available and very helpful with their advice where to swim or where to dine. The house lies in a beautiful area of the lake. It offers private parking, which is a big help in this region of the lake. We have stayed there with 3 persons, which was no problem. There is plenty of space in the house and eve more in the grat garden. We wish Brunella and Giovanni all the best for the future. Thanks for having us as guest - we recommend this house to anyone who wants to get to know the Como lake region.

Caring Hosts

The location, facilities and view have been well covered by other reviews. I would like to concentrate on our hosts. We are elderly and unfortunately my wife picked up Covid on the flight,.and I tested positive a week later. We spent most of our holiday sel-fisolating.. Brunella & Giovanni could not have been more helpful and were genuinely concerned for our welfare. .Fortunately, we were not very ill but it was very reassuring to know that we had someone to turn to if needed, They did shopping for us and even brought us a Sunday dinner with wine..They made it very clear that we should phone or text if we needed anything. Although we spent most of our time confined to house and garden we still enjoyed our holiday We can't thank Brunella & Giovanni enough for the care and support they gave us. James & Christel Graham

The best house and hosts on Lake Como!

We had an absolutely wonderful week in Brunella and Giovanni’s house Sans Souci! The photos do not do it justice, it is even more beautiful than the photos can portray! The location is brilliant, you can get to so many pretty towns and villages by boat and there are so many walks to take for those who want to be more active. Brunella is so heart warming and made us feel so welcome. And she genuinely cares for every need or problem you may have. She certainly helped us out with a sticky situation! 😉 And Giovanni took so much time to explain all the possible things to do and sites to see. Definitely not expected and so valuable! We were obviously paying guests but Brunella and Giovanni made us feel completely like guests and we felt so at home. Have no worries about privacy, although they are also on the property you have no worries about privacy as the house is on the other side of the property. Everything was ideal! And the house has all you need and more. The views are fabulous! I want to go back already! What more can I say, the name of the house is perfect, we arrived stressed from the journey and left “Sans Souci” (no worries, relaxed)! Thank you so much dear Brunella and Giovanni! We will be back!

Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse, leur sens du contact et pour tous les renseignements précieux qu'ils nous ont donnés pour visiter la région du lac de Come . Le logement est très confortable et la vue sur le lac est extraordinaire, que ce soit des terrasses ou de l'intérieur, au calme.

In der Ferienwohnung mit traumhaftem Seeblick und einem sehr schönen Garten, im kleinen Örtchen Carate Urio, 10Km nördlich von Como, lässt es sich gut erholen. Die sehr herzlichen Vermieter versorgen dich mit Insiderinformationen für Wanderungen, Ausflüge und Restaurants, die immer zutreffen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt in der Nähe hat alles für den täglichen Bedarf an Essen. Kleiner Nachteil, der Parkplatz ist ca. 300 Meter entfernt, und es ist ständig etwas steil zum Laufen. Mann sollte gut zu Fuß sein.

Herrliche Unterkunft aber Verkehrschaos

Schöne Unterkunft und landschaftlich ein Traum, aber leider während unseres Aufenthaltes war der See überlaufen und chaotisch. Wir empfehlen die Sehenswürdigkeiten genau zu planen und vorzubuchen.

Kleinod am Comer See in Carate Urio

Wir haben uns im Haus Sanssoucis von Brunella und Giovanni sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, die malerische Lage und Nähe zum See hat unser Urlaubsgefühl abgerundet. Die Vermieter waren sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles hat hervorragend funktioniert. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die beiden Terrassen laden zum Entspannen ein und bieten einen herrlichen Blick auf den See. Ein zugehöriger überwachter Parkplatz ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschöne Location!!!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend, serviceorientiert und sehr sympathisch. Das Haus hat einen Kamin und verfügt über alles, was man braucht, um den Aufenthalt zu genießen. Die Lage ist sensationell, der Ausblick ein Traum! Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Traumhaft

Wir haben uns sehr auf Sanssouci und sein Versprechen von Ruhe und Entspannung gefreut und genau das vorgefunden. Das Haus liegt einfach traumhaft schön in einem wunderbaren Garten und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den See. Es verfügt über 2 Terrassen, eine mit Esstisch, eine mit Lounge-Möbeln und Sonnenliegen. Der Innenbereich ist sehr wohnlich eingerichtet, verfügt über Klimaanlage, Deckenventilator und auch von hier hat man durch die großen Fenster eine herrliche Aussicht. Wir durften unsere Tochter mit Begleitung für eine Nacht beherbergen und wurden dafür ohne Aufpreis mit zusätzlicher Bettwäsche und Handtüchern ausgestattet. Überhaupt fühlt man sich hier nicht einfach als Mieter, sondern als willkommener Gast. Das Vermieterehepaar steht mit Herzlichkeit, Rat und Tat zur Seite. Giovanni nimmt sich Zeit für Ausflug- und Restaurant-Tipps. Danke dafür, alle Empfehlungen haben ganz genau gepasst. Brunella hat uns sogar von ihren selbst gemachten Pasta kosten lassen. Beide hielten sich im Hintergrund, waren aber jederzeit ansprechbar und netterweise auch immer für einen kleinen Smalltalk zu haben. Das Haus liegt auch im Ort sehr günstig. Restaurants, eine Enoteca am Seeufer und der Anleger sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Auto blieb sicher auf einem separaten Parkplatz stehen und wurde kaum benutzt, weil man am See mit Booten und ggf. auch Bus mobil ist. Eine Badestelle am See ist fußläufig erreichbar. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub! Unbedingte Empfehlung, herzlichen Dank!

Une expérience formidable !

Gîte d'une parfaite propreté situé dans le magnifique jardin d'une superbe propriété. Le logement est vaste, confortable, très bien situé, très bien équipé et la vue sur le lac y est exceptionnelle. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, parlent le français couramment et donnent d'excellents conseils sur les excursions à faire, sur les moyens de transport à utiliser, sur les restaurants du secteur et sur les magasins pour faire les courses. Tout était parfait ; nous avons passé un formidable séjour et nous y retournerons !

Traumhaus im Paradies

Der Comer See scheint dem Paradies entlehnt ! Carate Urio ist eines der zahlreichen kleinen Orte am zauberhaften Westufer des Sees. Das Haus ? Wunderbar ! Stilvoll und elegant eingerichtet, die Lage und die Aussicht sind unbeschreiblich schön. Brunella und Giovanni sind zuvorkommende und nette Vermieter. Ein absoluter Tipp !

Très beau avec une vue imprenable sur le lac

Maison spacieuse, lumineuse, très joliment décorée avec un joli jardin. Une belle bibliothèque mais aussi des jeux. Les propriétaires sont polyglottes et ont une riche expérience de vie. Giovanni avec qui nous avons été en relation la plupart du temps s'est montré affable et très disponible. Nous avons eu la chance de d'admirer Dante, âgé de 2 mois, arrivé quelques jours plus tôt et d'échanger quelques mots avec sa maman Le négatif de cette location a été l'escalier en colimaçon, beaucoup trop étroit et les nombreuses marches en pierres non ajustées qu'il faut pour y accéder

Sehr entspannend und zum runter kommen ist es genau die richtige Lage. Hier hat man auf jeden Fall seine Ruhe und kann die Aussicht genießen. Allerdings gestaltet es sich mit Shoppen ( z.B. Souvenirs, Köstlichkeiten etc…) in der Nähe als etwas schwieriger - da sollte man schon in die größeren Städte fahren. Restaurants und Kaffee‘s gab es genug im Umkreis.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit toller Aussicht auf den Comer See. Perfekt für zwei Personen. Nicht zu empfehlen für Gäste, die Schwierigkeiten mit Treppensteigen haben.
