First time to visit seaside

We've stayed at many other Seaside properties and this one is just average. It was not particularly clean this time either, which was disappointing. However,location is great and Homeowner's Collection has always been great to work with, so Seaside will still be high on our list of destinations.

Nice little bungalow

Labor Day little get away

The doors to the decks were hard to open and close. The outdoor cushions were mildewed as was the master bath shower.The ceiling fan made a very loud noise in the master.

A great Seaside vacation in the home tush in the sand

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would highly recommend staying with this vacation rental company. Four girlfriends that turned 50 stayed in tush in the sand. We had an overall great stay. The management staff was so helpful. The home was clean and in great shape, and the location was phenomenal! Walking distance to the beach and to the pool, two of our favorite spots. Biking and walking is a must in this town! Food shopping and fun is everything you will get! We had the concierge service of Tia Glenn and she was amazing! Helpful, attentive, and quick we were able to grab reservations, car service, Grocery delivery, and anything else our hearts desired! Hope to be back again sometime soon this was a memorable vacation to save the least!

Wonderful Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Tush in the Sand, which turned out to be perfect for us. The cottage was clean and ready to use the moment we walked in the door. What I really liked about it was the three minute walk to the beach and the five minute (or less) walk to the food trucks. The location is far enough from 30A that you don't hear the traffic or get caught in it, but close enough to everything. We just parked our car and walked everywhere. The include rental bikes were also a nice touch. And I can't say enough about the attentiveness and assistance of the Homeowners Collection team, as they quickly responded to my many questions and provided helpful advice from the beginning of the booking through the end of our stay. I will not hesitate to use them for future visits to Seaside (of which I think there will be many!).

The 2 free rental bikes, and access to the pool and fitness center were a fantastic perk, and everything we needed was a quick walk or bikeride away. The property was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. And whenever we needed an "extra something" Homeowner's Collection staff were quick to bring it to us. Onsite laundry is a convenience. We loved the welcome gift! And we really didn't want to leave.

Small place that needs TLC

Was not sure what to expect with this rental. The “owners fees” added up to be more then the rental itself, somewhat misleading. Very very small, no place to store luggage bathtubs clogged up and barely drain. 1 of the beds was in “ok” condition and the other was very poor and needs replaced. The management company did provide everything needed along with gifts. The owner of the property needs to invest in the property a bit.

Nice place, horrible beds

We stayed for a week in Leeward and really enjoyed the house. Pros: I liked that the bedrooms were on the first floor and the living was upstairs. The house had a sufficient and stocked kitchen, wifi included, basic tv, and decent furniture. I liked that there were 2 personal baths downstairs with the bedrooms and a 1/2 bath upstairs. The house was thoroughly cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. The location was nice. I was afraid it would be a little far back in town, but I forget how easily accessible everything is in Seaside. It was a short walk to town and to the beach. We also had plenty of parking in front of the house. The included pool pass was nice. Cons: The mattresses were horribly uncomfortable. We rolled in to the middle of the bed all night and I will definitely have to see a chiropractor a few times to get realigned. If the beds were nicer, this would have been a much better property and more comfortable stay. The third floor loft wasn't ever used as getting up/down was a little scary. It was hard to keep my 4 year old away from the stairs. There are only two tall chairs in a small space on the third floor deck. It isn't really usable. The outdoor areas needed fans. Since it was so warm, we were unable to sit outside on either to top screened porch or the lower front porch because there was no air moving. No bikes are included. No beach toys, beach towels, games, dvd player, etc included like you can find in some of the houses.

Our most recent stay at Tush in the Sand

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Same lovely experience. I wish things didn’t have to be this way, but due to the age of numerous houses, much construction (with loud noise prevails). Maybe limiting this activity to the off-season would help. Much, much more non-resident traffic was noticed. I personally noticed several near-misses of pedestrian/traffic. I guess just more rules are going to have to be invoked. We still loved our experience in Tush in the Sand at the corner of Forest and Pensacola. It’s a very short walk to the large West pool and a pleasant stroll to the beach through the beautiful Pensacola Pavillion. The Security staff are excellent, along with everyone else on the team.

There was some wear and tear in the bedrooms and bathrooms because it's an older cottage but overall it was comfortable and charming. Great location, too!
