True Paris Experience

This property was a great way to experience Paris as locals do. Quaint apartment with Paris charm. Fantastic location close to landmarks (Eiffel Tower) and transit system. Owner was amazing. She was friendly, easy to communicate with and provided a detail package of the neighborhood and everything there is to do in Paris. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Charming, comfortable and convenient apartment

Sylvie's charming, 1-bedroom apartment has a very comfortable living room, dining room and a small, well equipped galley kitchen. The renovated bathroom has a good, hot shower. It is well-lit and very quiet. It is close to metro and bus lines, many restaurants, as well as easy access to walks along the Seine. Sylvie met us for a thorough introduction to the apartment and left us a welcoming bottle of wine! It was really a home-away-from-home for us and we would be happy to stay at her apartment again.

Charming apartment in a lovely neighborhood

Sylvie is a very thoughtful and communicative host. My mom and I loved having a furnished apartment with Parisian character and a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was very convenient to have a full kitchen including the coffee Sylvie left for us, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The building is close to a pharmacy, grocery stores, restaurants and metro stops. One note is that there are several steps before reaching the elevator, and it is not wheelchair accessible. We hope to return to the 16th arrondissement soon!

Highly Recommend

Lovely apartment in a great location in Paris. Restaurants and Metro both nearby and easy to walk to. Nice size apartment with large dining room comfy living room. And the SHOWER WAS WONDERFUL strong and hot water comes on immediately. I recommend highly. The only issue we had was we did not know that the outside building door has a device that unlocks it. Luckily this door was open when we first arrived because someone was moving a couch otherwise we would never be able to get access to get the outside key. And luckily we realized this before we left for the first time and realized there was an outisde key. The neighbor the host said to talk to if we had any questions said she didn't know English and had no idea what the device was even though she must have the same device to get into the building. We finally figured out how to use and had a wonderful stay otherwise. Thank You!!!

Very cluttered apartment

The building, location, view and check in process were all superb. However, the apartment was so cluttered there was hardly room to move about. After traveling for three weeks prior to arriving, I had hoped to cook in the kitchen instead of eating out every meal. However, it was so cluttered with every square inch of the counter top, including the stove top it was impossible to do anything other than make the morning coffee. The kitchen sink had at least 3 old dirty sponges in it, the sink and countertops were filthy. The bathroom had moldy shower grout, there was even a shopping bag of hair curlers in the middle of the very small floor. The bed / mattress was very old and uncomfortable. The pillows were old and thin, thankfully we were able to find throw pillows on the sofa to add. Every door knob had the owners personal stuff hanging on them, tops of heaters were used as shelves for personal belongings. Unfortunately , there was so much clutter and mess making it difficult to enjoy the apartment.

Charming Apartment, Great Location

We were in town for business and pleasure and Sylvie’s apartment was just perfect for our one week stay! Beautiful Parisian character and tastefully furnished and decorated! Sylvie was also very easy to work with and made everything very easy for us! The neighborhood is very nice as well!! We would definitely return!!

Lovely place to stay

We had a great few days in Paris and our accommodation at Sylvie's contributed greatly to it. It was easy to deal with Sophie and Antonia who handled the keys. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped with a great view of the Eiffel tower. There are plenty of services nearby and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Joli appartement à Passy

Mon mari et moi avons passé quelques jours dans cet appartement au mois d'octobre. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation paisible, le confort, la propreté, la cuisine bien équipée, la sécurité du batiment, et surtout la gentillesse de la propriétaire, Sylvie. La communication et la préparation avant notre arrivée étaient très faciles et elle nous a donné toutes sortes de renseignements et recommendations. Le métro est à 10 minutes à pied, donc c'était facile de visiter la ville. Il y a plein de petits restaurants et magasins tout près de l'appartement - nous recommandons Pop's dans la rue du Ranelagh. Merci, Sylvie, pour nous avoir loué votre bel appartement. Nous choisirions sans hésitation d'y retourner pour notre prochain voyage à Paris!

Experiencing Paris

Wonderful experience at Sylvie’s apartment. Very comfortable place, feels like home. Perfect location. Close to groceries, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and transportation (subway, bus, taxi). But the best part was to be able to walk everywhere. If you want the touristic Paris, or want to have the fell of what it is like to live like a Parisian, this apartment affords you both experiencies. Sylvie is a lovely host, flexible on check in and check out times. When we arrived, she walked the neighborhood with us to point out the places to go, where to get transportation, food, etc. About the apartment itself, we found the bed comfortable, the shower powerful, hot water, appliances, utensils, everything was working perfectly, we did not miss anything. We highly recommend this apartment. Will go back soon.

Une adresse à ne pas manquer sur Paris

Un appartement parisien joliment décoré. Rien ne manque pour un séjour agréable dans un arrondissement calme et sur. Tous les commerces sont à proximité ainsi que parcs et stations de métro. De plus l'accueil de Sylvie est très chaleureux. On se sent vite chez soi. C'est la raison pour laquelle je reviendrai.

Amazing, beautiful, tranquil place to enjoy Paris. Very clean, comfortable and convenient.

We had a great time at Sylvie's place. She met me and explained all about the place and the neighborhood. She made a wonderful notebook that contained all the important information. Her apartment is close to everything in Paris but also gives a quiet, get away after a long day of metros and exploring. The neighbors were very kind to and welcomed us as we shared the elevator a couple of times. I loved the windows that looked out on the courtyard. There is shopping close by as well as the metro or bus. We had no trouble getting around. It was very comfortable for two of us traveling together and it was so nice to have a kitchen as well as laundry. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Von hier aus lässt sich Paris wunderbar erkunden

Die Wohnung liegt im 16. Arrondissement, also ruhig, gediegen und doch sehr zentral. Ein paar Meter und man ist an der Seine und steht quasi direkt vor dem Eiffelturm. Fußläufig ist in diesem Viertel alles zu erreichen (Mall, Cafes, Restaurants, Geschäfte für den kleinen und den großen Geldbeutel), einfach nur schön. Die Vermieterin, Sylvie, ist charmant und sehr fürsorglich. Ja, wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Great choice! safe arrondissement! typical paris style!

My wife and myself wanted to spend one week in Paris around Valentines day. We choose this appartment as its style looked like the typical appartment in Paris (I am French and lived in Paris until graduation). It is a very comfortable appartment and it gives you really the flair of the authentic charme of Paris. AND the arrondissement is safe! (my mother lives a few streets away). This is important nowdays. You have all transportation possibilities like the bus, the subway etc... There are plenty of shops and restaurants not very far. Includings many bakeries and food shops. And some nice restaurants (i.e. Les Chaumettes, 2 minutes away). A farmer market is also 2 times the week in the next street. So if you want a safe arrondissement and a typical appartment for Parisian. Go for it! We will definitely book it again.

Great choice!

This appartment was a great choice because first of all it is situated in a very quiet building. Close to all conveniences like supermarkets, market with fresh produce and wonderful shopping streets, metro and buses. The appartment has all the comfort and is very spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. The owner was there to welcome me and very helpful with everything I needed. I will definitely come back, great location!

Familienurlaub Paris mit persönlicher Note

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 10 und 14 Jahren) haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Bereits im Vorfeld der Reise gab sich unsere Vermieterin sehr viel Mühe und versorgte uns stets rechtzeitig mit allen notwendigen Informationen. An der Unterkunft angekommen wurden wir von der Concierge (die Vermieterin selbst war im Urlaub) sehr freundlich empfangen. Schon eine halbe Stunde nach unserer Ankunft erkundigte sich die Vermieterin per SMS, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit wäre. Die Wohnung entsprach in allen Details den Angaben und Fotos im Inserat. Sie war sehr sauber, gepflegt und persönlich eingerichtet, so dass wir uns sofort wohlfühlten. Sogar ein kleines Gastgeschenk lag bereit, ebenso wie Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Duschgel/Creme. Einzig das Ausziehsofa war etwas klapperig, was für die Kinder aber kein Problem darstellte. Die Lage ist perfekt. Alles ist schnell erreichbar und trotzdem ist die Unterkunft sehr ruhig gelegen (Hinterhaus). Aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster sieht man den Eiffelturm. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter und bedanken uns sehr herzlich für die perfekte Betreuung durch die Vermieterin!!!

Wonderful stay in Paris!

I had a wonderful stay in Sylvie's beautiful apartment. The apartment has lots of natural light and was very quiet. The check-in and check-out was very convenient (and flexible) and the gardienne was very pleasant - she greeted me with a bonjour every morning. The location was convenient and everything I needed was only a short walk from the apartment (shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, metro, bus). I would definitely stay here next time I am in Paris!
