Elevator Did Not Function 5 of 7 days. Major construction noise

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not functioning elevator Monday thru Saturday. Seven floors to go up and down, impossible for my husband recuperating from major illness. Can’t go for a quick walk on beach, or use hot tub, or carry groceries luggage up and down! Large condo, good beds, tvs, couldn’t use balcony because of pounding construction until after dark!

lovely property

Love the property, the small town, and the beach. The owners need to update these bathrooms. They are clean but quite old and run down. That was not clear in the photos. They need to be updated.

Great Northeastern View

Top floor side unit allows balcony access all day without full sun. Good a/c, adequate kitchen supplies. Not the newest condo on the block, but the essentials are covered. Will rent here again.

Great location

My husband and I stayed here for a week and really appreciated the location. We were able to watch the Thunder at Cocoa Beach boat races and rocket launches from the balcony. Beach access was super convenient and we enjoyed the pool.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is perfect! The unit is spacious and has a great view! The location manager Cathy was awesome! I had left a special pillow there and she went out of her way to get it back to me.The only negatives were that the floors were extremely dirty...within 5 minutes of waking barefoot in the unit, our feet were black with dirt! There was also soap scum on the sink in the master bedroom, and kitchen counters were somewhat sticky. The unit also has some wear and tear that should be addressed...for example...bathroom cabinets show severe water damage around the bottoms. That is a shame because otherwise the unit is great and I would definitely love to stay there again!

Plumbing issue

When we checked in we were told the master bathroom toilet wasn’t working. We had to be gone for the day while it was fixed. It was an inconvenience! The manager Kathy was very kind in communicating the problem.

Cocoa Beach Spring Break

The rental had most everything we needed or wanted for the beach, so we didn’t need to buy anything. We watched SoaceX rocket launch right from the balcony. We would definitely contact them again if we are to go back to Cocoa Beach.

Enjoyed our Vacation

Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed at Sandcastles and we love the location as it is on the beach and close to restaurants and stores. Our room was comfortable but needs updating. Kitchen items need to be bought or updated. (towels, cookie sheet, strainer, new mugs, new bowls, mop, etc) We purchsed some of these items ourselves. We did meet the manager, Cathy, who was extremely helpful!!!

Loved my stay here!

My family and I stayed in Cocoa Beach and loved this condo. It was very spacious, the balcony is a cool spot to hang, and is located in a nice, centric part of town - close to everything we had planned to do! Beach access was also a plus. I would stay here again

Cocoa beach getaway

Great condo and great location. The view is amazing. Loved being able to hear the ocean at night with the windows open. Condo needs some updating. Master bathroom vanity on the ground is damaged. Was peeling paint in the condo. A couple nights there were a few small ants in the counter. Think they were coming up from a crack on the counter. Can see screws in the ceiling. Easy access to the beach, but did not know we needed a key for the gate. Not the condo owners issue, but there was dog feces on the ground, near the elevator. Texted building manager as their number was listed. They said they’d contact someone, but feces was still there a day later. Never used pool or hot tub, but looked nice. Felt safe. Condo was very clean. Just need to fix some of the things mentioned above. Would definitely stay again though!

Relaxing Beach Time!

We were able to have a lot of beach time, the beach in front of the condo was covered by a public life guard during the day, a plus. There was a night launch of SpaceX falcon 9 which was exciting to see from our balcony. This place was close to several restaurants and shopping. The place was clean and as described. There is construction going on so you need to be careful but it didn’t dampen the stay. I recommend this condo.

Many frustrations but great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our stay, the fridge had issues. Cathy was responsive and brought a mini fridge. But... that one froze all of our food. The bathrooms are in dire need of a thorough clean. The 7th floor was amazing to watch sunrises and sunsets, but we often had to be inside because the people below us smoked from morning until night, filling our balcony with cigarette smoke. We had a great view for the shuttle launch, though. Finally, the concrete work. If I had known there would be people working outside the building, I wouldn't have booked this location. It was loud.We couldn't have asked for a better location the beach and with a pool. The condo did have supplies needed for the kitchen. There were some towels- but we also left 4 more.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was nice and fit our needs. Very limited supplies unlike what was listed. Very few towels (both beach and bath), a few beach toys (most were broken) and umbrella was broken. Closet door was off the track which we fixed when we got there. Bathroom drawer was broken as well as the towel rack. Unit was clean and had plenty of cooking utensils and pans. We ended up staying during a time that construction was going on which made it unsettling when having to walk to and from the elevator. They were working on each floors concrete and had them held up with poles, we were on the 7th floor 😳. When we were in Cocoa Beach last year we stayed in a different until and will probably try to get that one again for next year, it had everything and plenty of supplies.
