Välkommen till "" En pärla i Östersjön "" ... En absolut charmig, uppdaterad och modern strandstuga som ligger bara 100 meter från stranden! Vi är inbäddat i ett pittoreskt södra Nags Head-kvarter, på en privat enhet utan vägar för att korsa för att få tårna till Atlanten.
Denna semi-oceanfront hem har allt som din familj drömmer om för en Beach House semester i de yttre bankerna. Våra havsutsikt fönstermur har fantastisk utsikt över havet från en öppen planlösning vardagsrum / matplats. Det välutrustade köket har ett fullskärms-kylskåp med ismaskin, elektrisk urval och ugn, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och massor av små köksredskap / verktyg / prylar. Som vår gäst kommer du att njuta av trådlöst internet, obegränsat lokalt och långdistanssamtal och HDTV-visning via DirecTV-satellit. Vårt underhållningssystem innehåller en Blu-ray / DVD-spelare och Blue-Tooth-kompatibel ljudbar. Om du reser med ditt spelsystem eller streaming-enhet kan du använda HDMI-kabeln för att ansluta till vårt underhållningssystem. På kvällen blir fönsterväggen din egen hemmabio när du sänker projektionsskärmen (vilket fördubblas som en privatlivskugga). Titta på TV, filmer (från vårt DVD-bibliotek) eller omdirigera din spelkonsol till den 12 fot breda projektionsskärmen! Bara några steg från en pärla i ostronen, och du är på stranden! En kort promenad längs stranden (norrut) tar dig till Jeannettes Pier, och en kort promenad i andra riktningen (söderut) tar dig till The Outer Banks Pier. Utomhusutrymmet på A Pearl i Oyster omfattar: En bubbelbad på marknivå (i ett område som omfattas av regn eller sken) som ligger intill utomhusdusch och ett bekvämt halvbad. Bottenvåningen leder ut till ett välkomnande täckt däck med havsutsikt, Adirondack stolar och en abborre som att mata grannskapsfåglarna! Perfect House for OBX Vacation

Everything about this house was perfect for our vacation. The location is amazing. It's one house from the beach and close to everything Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills has to offer. We ate every meal out and didn't get to try all of the amazing places to eat. The house has great upgrades and plenty of space. The decks are wonderful and the 12 foot projector screen was a hit every night. The kitchen is fully loaded- not that we needed it, but anything we needed was there. The hot tub was huge and we appreciated the outside shower and hoses to rinse off all of the sand. The house being pet friendly gave our family dog the best vacation too. We will most likely rent this house again. We didn't have one problem or issue with anything and the rental company and beach gear rental company were both so easy to work with. Thank you for giving us a wonderful vacation!

Great dog friendly house!

This house is a very short walk to the beach on a nice quiet street. Nice views and the house had plenty of room with a good layout. Very close to shops/restaurants/grocery etc. Had a great stay, would definitely book again.

Great Spot!

No frills house, steps from the beach. Everything you need. Only downside was a moldy shower curtain liner (we replaced). Fantastic communication with real estate agency. Recommend.

Sliding doors were broken and did not lock. Well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots, pans etc.). Short on dinner forks. Very enjoyable vacation and we liked the home.

Amazing!

The house was stocked with tons of kitchen appliances including crock pots and an electric skillet. Everything worked wonderfully and we loved the big screen for movies in the evenings. The house was well maintained and had a beautiful view of the beach even being one house back from ocean front. No complaints at all!!

Really a great place and excellent location

House was clean and everything was in working condition. Limited kitchen storage space would be the only need to plan ahead. The projector system worked well and was relatively easy to operate. Hot tub was functioning well which at some house we have had trouble--no issue here. Would definitely rent here again! Also, the rental company was terrific to work with as this was the first time we used them. Excellent all around!!

4 Stars - great trip!

We had rented Pearl In The Oyster in the summer back in 2016 or 2017 and had a great time. Decided to return there this fall after going to different places along the Outer Banks in between. The house was exactly how we remembered as far as the fantastic location in the giant projection screen. The pet policy is very reasonable and our dog loved the experience :-) The neighbors there, the real Full-time residents of the Outer Banks, are very kind as well. The only negative that I would have is that the carpets in the bedrooms are in need of replacement and the shower water pressure in both bathrooms leave something to be desired. Not sure if it's because of the handheld heads or the difficulty in getting water up that high. Again, all in all a great experience and I'm sure we consider Pearl In The Oyster again next time we return to the Outer Banks.

The place was ok for a pet friendly house. It needs some upgrades.... badly . Too many to count. Pretty expensive for a property that has not had any upgrades in many many years.

Great Week at A Pearl in the Oyster

This is our second stay at this home. We love the location. It's one back from the ocean but you can see the ocean. The dune is not high to get on and off the beach. It's on a quiet private road off the main road. It was clean. It's a little outdated but it has the older beach house vibe. Everything is there that you could need. We are a 60s couple so we only use the main bedroom and we don't cook on vacation. Still, the kitchen is well equipped and if you do cook, everything you need is there. There is a nice guest pantry cabinet that has salt/pepper and some other things, which is nice. The main bedroom bed is very comfortable. We haven't used the movie screen in the living room, but I could see where that would be nice for families. Decks are nice. Huge grill. Great private hot tub area under the house. Allows dogs, which was the primary reason we rented-we have a golden retriever. We will continue to rent this house. It's in a great location, everything on one floor, allows our dog, and easy access to the beach.

A Pearl In The Oyster

This was our first time in A Pearl in the Oyster. We rented directly from an owner for 16 years. Unfortunately, she decided to sell and enjoy retirement. It was a huge loss. We loved the house. After many searches, we found A Pearl in the Oyster and held our breath, hoping it would be great find. It was. We really enjoyed it. Loved it was all on one floor. Everything is well labeled so no rummaging around looking for items. I don't cook on vacation but if you did, it has everything. We did bring our Keurig with us. We loved how quiet the area is. After staying on Beach Road for so long, we didn't realize how quiet it is without road noise. Super quick easy walk to the beach. We could bring our Golden Retriever with us so she could also enjoy the beach. Beds were really comfortable. Good mattress in the main bedroom. We didn't use all of the bedrooms but they all seem well appointed. TVs in all the bedrooms. It was clean. Nice outdoor shower and hot tub. We plan on reserving the same week next year as well.

Loved the cabin and all the extras it has such as the projector, the awesome view through the sliding glass doors, the hot tub and the short walk to the beach! The only issue I had was that renters that stayed sometime before us did not clean dishes, silverware, and pots/pans (they had caked on food).

Very Nice!

House was clean and in a great location. The big screen projector and hot tub were nice touches. The road is a bit narrow and the house shakes when anyone walks through it which is common for beach houses! Would recommend staying here to a friend.

Nice house But internet was slow tv didn't work in the master bedroom, tv in living room had nothing to watch unless you wanted to pay to watch something. House wasn't very clean, we had to clean the house before unpacking, toilet in master bedroom was filthy, a cloth from previous tenants was still hanging in the shower, nothing on the counters was picked up an cleaned under,the base of the toilet was filthy an behind it hadn't been cleaned for some time.a lot of dog hair we had to clean up in the dinning area, a lot of sand on the floors we had to sweep up an vacuum The house has everything you need to cook with but there Are very few forks to eat with. Don't think we will stay there again. Nice location

Clean

Only complaint is that the house was not cleaned when we got there. We arrived at 4pm and waited two hours outside elsewhere until 6pm. When we enter at 6pm, the house was semi cleaned, floor was dirty and couch had sand on it.

We had a great time in Nags Head at this property. The location was great. it was perfect for our family and our dog. They property managers were outstanding. I emailed them about a slow drain and they showed up to fix it in 10 minutes.

We enjoyed our family vacation in Nags Head. Property is in close proximity to the beach, which we liked very much ! However I would note that this property does allow pets, (I am a dog owner, didn’t bring our pet) and there was plenty of pet hair still evident (floors, bedding) upon check in. This was disappointing since we paid ($$$) for an early check in & spent over an hour cleaning ourselves upon check in. We also requested a late check out (hour later) which was not given. Overall nice property & great location.

Great location and house

We really enjoyed this house. The location was great. Check in process was awesome. Paid a little extra and got in the house before 11am on arrival day! The house was well stocked. The tv system was very complicated, we had to call maintenance a couple times but they were very prompt in helping us. There is only one living space but the outdoor space definitely made up for that. Great views. We would return to this home in the future.
