Sea n Stars, vårt strandhus byggdes 2014, detta vackra strandhus ligger vid den sandiga viken vid Sargent, TX cirka 1 mil norr om Caney Creek Swing Bridge, mittemot ICW och National Wildlife Refuge-området-- bra fågelskådning. Fantastisk utsikt över solnedgången och soluppgången från båda däcken. Den öppna planlösningen har apparater i rostfritt stål och bänkskivor i granit, har alla bekvämligheter i hemmet, plus utsikt över solnedgången och solen, miles av lugn strand för promenader och skal, eller surfa fiske. 2 plattskärms-TV med diskservice och alla filmkanaler. Köket inkluderar: kaffekanna, mixer, brödrost, crock pot, mixer, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, sortiment och kylskåp i full storlek. Sovrummet har en queen size-säng med privat badrum med dubbla handfat. Sovrum 1 har en dubbelsäng. Sovrum 2 har två våningssängar med en dubbel på botten och tvilling på toppen. Båda duschar har ett dubbelt duschhuvud. Gulf side deck har bord och stolar samt en soffa. Central luft och värme. Sängkläder och handdukar ingår. Närmaste städer: Lake Jackson eller Bay City. INTERNET. Vi äger också mycket på ICW med en fiskebrygga och fiskrengöringsstation. The pictures don’t do it justice!

This house was even prettier in person and made us feel right at home! The owner thought of everything you could need for a vacation, and other than food & clothes, we didn’t need to bring anything else with us. The location to the beach was perfect, & there is a boardwalk from the house straight out to the beach. We didn’t have time to fish from the pier because we spent all our time relaxing on the deck or playing in the water.

Great house and great location

Great house and was well kept and clean. By far one of the best places we’ve stayed at down there and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back.

Very Relaxing

The house and location were perfect. We had a great time relaxing on the beach, looking for sea glass, and playing in the waves. The house had everything we needed plus helpful notes from the owner that we appreciated. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Experience the Texas coast all to yourself.

Beautiful beach house on a nearly empty beach. Gracious and informative host that offers an experience second to none. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway without all the distraction of the big city, this is your place. My family loved their trip and are already asking when we can go back.

Great clean place to Stay if you want a private beach and canal setting

Everything was great. I would definitely go again. The only challenge you might run into here us the travel time if you want to visit populated tourist destinations for the kiddos. That's 30-90 minutes away if your looking for those activities.

Enjoyed our time

This was an adult getaway weekend we love sargent. We have not stayed beachside and this place was wonderful. Walk to the beach never had to leave come inside take a break whenever. Very comfortable, plenty of room even though it was the two of us. Would be a great family choice for anyone. Highly recommend, Till next time!

Great Get-away!

This property has it all! Adults and grandkids had a great time playing in the waves, hunting sea shells and sea glass, bird watching, boogie boarding and building sand castles. The outdoor shower, gas grill, porch swing, and pier on ICW were great bonuses! It’s a quiet, clean neighborhood with friendly folks. We enjoyed making memories at such a special place!

Beautiful house!

I was beyond amazed at the location, the house is right there on the gulf! The town is small and there were no people on the beach, I literally didn't see anyone else on the beach. It was like having your own private island on the gulf. The house is so beautiful and just perfect. So well stocked with everything you could need, including kayaks! I loved my stay there so much, I'll be back many times at this exact house! Thanks for everything Susan, I had a blast!!

Sea & Stars Awesome

We leased Sea and Stars for the weekend and will again soon. The beach home is beautiful, furnished perfectly, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. It is a perfect location for a stressless stay, very relaxing. Plenty of room for everyone (2 adults 5 teens). Kayaks were a big hit with the teens. The house is only 60-70yds from the beach and easy to access. Easy to keep track of the teens. Much nicer area than beaches in brazosport area (surfside). You dont have to contend with vehicle traffic on the beach in front of you. Do not hesitate to lease this home, it is a great getaway.

Weekend Retreat

This was our very first visit to Sea n' Stars, but definitely not our last. We have stayed in other VRBO rentals on Sargent Beach and found none can compare to the Sea n' Stars beach house. The home is virtually new and simply "sparkles". The inside furnishings are plush and comfortable, and the large kitchen is fully stocked with virtually any pot, pan, or utensil you could possibly want. One of our favorite amenities is the large covered deck facing the gulf. Our weekend had several periods of rain showers, but we stayed cozy and dry on the comfy couch on the deck and still enjoyed the outside views of the beach and water. Sea n' Stars is clearly the new STAR of the Sargent Beach rentals. We have already scheduled our next trip for a week in July with our two grandchildren.

Relaxing and private family vacation

Our family of four stayed for six days over spring break. We had a GREAT time on the beach every day. We were amazed how quiet it was! We barely saw another soul on the island the whole time. It was like having 8 miles of private beach all to ourselves. We had a lot of fun surf fishing. Our son and daughter played together like they hadn’t done in a very long time collecting shells and building sandcastles. We also enjoyed the yard (having bonfires, playing croquet, etc.) and even had a lot of fun just playing cards and other games indoors when it rained. The house is new and beautiful with a gorgeous and well-stocked kitchen and comfortable adjoining living area. The master suite with beach view was very nice and it was perfect to have the two other good sized bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom for the kids. Sea ‘n Stars is very well-equipped with crab traps, kayaks, grill, fish cooker, coolers, beach chairs, etc. Sargent TX is a bit off the beaten path and life there is definitely slower but it didn’t take us long to adjust. The restaurants were good (especially Blue Gecko!) and we really enjoyed the friendly locals we met - including a retired Space Shuttle pilot! We did drive up to Galveston one day just to check it out but we were very glad to be staying on Sargent Beach vs. in Galveston or the many other more crowded / touristy communities we saw in between.

Beautiful Summer Retreat

Our first visit to Sea n' Stars was over a three day weekend back in April. We loved it so much that we booked our second trip while we were still on the first one. Instead of the three nights, we booked for an entire week over the 4th of July holiday. Joining us this time was our daughter and two granddaughters, ages 10 and 7. Even though they were only able to stay for the weekend, both girls spent hours swimming in the warm gulf waters and combing the beach for shells. After the holiday weekend was over, the island went back to sleep again, meaning that most of the time, my wife and I had the entire beach to ourselves. We spent hours walking the beach, collecting a wide variety of shells, and swimming in the gulf to cool off. When the afternoon sun heated the beach up, we enjoyed the shade and cool breeze on the cozy couch on the upper gulf side deck Late afternoon we were back on the beach again. Fishing was the best ever and I actually ran out of bait this time. Caught bunches of fish, counted seven different kinds, all of which were released so you can have a chance at catching them too. Staying for an entire week, we took advantage of the brand new washer and dryer. We also noticed many additions to the property in the garage, such as an assortment of beach chairs, beach toys for the girls, and two kayaks, which we enjoyed too. As with our first visit, the house was immaculate in every way. Comfortable, clean, and stocked with nearly anything you could need. The house is so well equipped that we only left the island a couple times for things that I had forgotten to bring, such as ice cream for the wife and granddaughters. Morning coffee on the deck became a cherished ritual, as did the evenings on the lower level swing, usually with a chilled beverage. After staying in a Sargent Beach VRBO that only had window A/C units, the central cooling system kept us totally comfortable day and night. Sea n' Stars is an awesome vacation opportunity and we feel fortunate to be only a short drive away.

Friends and family stay

This was our third (or fourth?) stay at Sea n Stars. The house is easily large enough to accommodate our two families. Everything was very clean. It was a great weekend escape from the city. Favorite part is sitting on the front porch with a coffee watching the sunrise

Awesome beach getaway

This was my second time at the house and once again a great stay. Had two friends that had never been Sargent and instantly fell in love with it. One of, if not, the best VRBO I’ve stayed in including the one I used to own. Will definitely be back.

Great stay - good fishing!

We LOVED this location! We’ve stayed in several great places in Sargent. We enjoyed the outdoor hot and cold shower and being able to just walk back to the restroom while playing on the beach. The house was perfect for our family. Beds comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with literally everything we could think of! We will definitely be back to Sargent and communication with the hostess was perfect.

Perfection

This was by far our favorite vacation. We have been to Texas before and wanted to return however we wanted a more private, quiet beach, Sargent did not disappoint. The little community is very tight nit but super friendly. We were there ten days and came across one couple walking their dogs on the beach. Even at the public beach down the road, their busiest day we say maybe three pop ups but still far enough away that I could barely make out the people. I want to discuss the location to the beach because that is always what I look for in reviews. I believe the beach is actually closer than the pictures show and it does not look far away in the pictures! Once you have walked the length of the backyard you are more than halfway to the sand. True perfection. The house itself was just as described. The kitchen has all you need to feel at home, the beds are comfortable, plenty of linens and all the outside extras you will ever need. We have already talked about coming back in two years, none of us wanted to leave at the end of our stay!

Great Memorial Day get away!

This is our 3rd stay on Memorial Day in Sargent and each in a different rental. Loved staying on the beach side. Our family fit pretty well in this home. It had all the necessary needs and a nice big driveway!!

Wonderful

What a gem! The first thing you'll notice at Sea N Stars is how clean the property is. Just walking in the door you're welcomed by how bright and clean it looks and smells. The house is beautiful and well taken care of, Susan has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. From instructions on how to use the AC and TV down to a Kitchen that has just about everything you could possibly need. She has a book there with history about the area, restaurant suggestions (The Crab Trap Grill was a great!), and other info about the area. We are usually a road trip vacation family, always on the go. After our week at Sea N Stars, we all agree it was our best vacation yet. The location is close enough to the Galveston / Houston area that there is plenty to do on day trips, yet far enough away that you can sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of the surf with out all the hub-bub of a heavily populated area. We can't wait to visit again!

They thought of everything.

From games to chairs to fishing poles to a junk drawer full of stuff you might need, the owners provided everything we needed for a great family vacation. If you are looking for a worry-free place to stay, I highly recommend this beach house.

We live in Madison, Wisconsin and it has always been a dream for us to have a beach house on the Texas Gulf Shore for us to escape to in the winter when it's 30 below zero outside. We have lived in the Midwest our entire lives and on our first trip to Texas, we fell in love with the beauty of the shore and friendliness of the south. Sea n Stars is our winter get away!

Sea n Stars was built in 2014, we are the original owners. We looked up and down the Texas coast and really thought Sargent Beach offered the best of everything. We liked the quiet beach--that you can hike in both directions as far as you can walk, the fishing, the ICW, and the people. The best fishing in the area is in Sargent Beach! This beach house was newly built and had all the features of home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
