Sea n Stars, vårt strandhus byggdes 2014, detta vackra strandhus ligger vid den sandiga viken vid Sargent, TX cirka 1 mil norr om Caney Creek Swing Bridge, mittemot ICW och National Wildlife Refuge-området-- bra fågelskådning. Fantastisk utsikt över solnedgången och soluppgången från båda däcken. Den öppna planlösningen har apparater i rostfritt stål och bänkskivor i granit, har alla bekvämligheter i hemmet, plus utsikt över solnedgången och solen, miles av lugn strand för promenader och skal, eller surfa fiske. 2 plattskärms-TV med diskservice och alla filmkanaler. Köket inkluderar: kaffekanna, mixer, brödrost, crock pot, mixer, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin, sortiment och kylskåp i full storlek. Sovrummet har en queen size-säng med privat badrum med dubbla handfat. Sovrum 1 har en dubbelsäng. Sovrum 2 har två våningssängar med en dubbel på botten och tvilling på toppen. Båda duschar har ett dubbelt duschhuvud. Gulf side deck har bord och stolar samt en soffa. Central luft och värme. Sängkläder och handdukar ingår. Närmaste städer: Lake Jackson eller Bay City. INTERNET. Vi äger också mycket på ICW med en fiskebrygga och fiskrengöringsstation. Friends and family stay

This was our third (or fourth?) stay at Sea n Stars. The house is easily large enough to accommodate our two families. Everything was very clean. It was a great weekend escape from the city. Favorite part is sitting on the front porch with a coffee watching the sunrise

Awesome beach getaway

This was my second time at the house and once again a great stay. Had two friends that had never been Sargent and instantly fell in love with it. One of, if not, the best VRBO I’ve stayed in including the one I used to own. Will definitely be back.

Very Relaxing

The house and location were perfect. We had a great time relaxing on the beach, looking for sea glass, and playing in the waves. The house had everything we needed plus helpful notes from the owner that we appreciated. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Experience the Texas coast all to yourself.

Beautiful beach house on a nearly empty beach. Gracious and informative host that offers an experience second to none. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway without all the distraction of the big city, this is your place. My family loved their trip and are already asking when we can go back.

Great stay - good fishing!

We LOVED this location! We’ve stayed in several great places in Sargent. We enjoyed the outdoor hot and cold shower and being able to just walk back to the restroom while playing on the beach. The house was perfect for our family. Beds comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with literally everything we could think of! We will definitely be back to Sargent and communication with the hostess was perfect.

Enjoyed our time

This was an adult getaway weekend we love sargent. We have not stayed beachside and this place was wonderful. Walk to the beach never had to leave come inside take a break whenever. Very comfortable, plenty of room even though it was the two of us. Would be a great family choice for anyone. Highly recommend, Till next time!

Perfection

This was by far our favorite vacation. We have been to Texas before and wanted to return however we wanted a more private, quiet beach, Sargent did not disappoint. The little community is very tight nit but super friendly. We were there ten days and came across one couple walking their dogs on the beach. Even at the public beach down the road, their busiest day we say maybe three pop ups but still far enough away that I could barely make out the people. I want to discuss the location to the beach because that is always what I look for in reviews. I believe the beach is actually closer than the pictures show and it does not look far away in the pictures! Once you have walked the length of the backyard you are more than halfway to the sand. True perfection. The house itself was just as described. The kitchen has all you need to feel at home, the beds are comfortable, plenty of linens and all the outside extras you will ever need. We have already talked about coming back in two years, none of us wanted to leave at the end of our stay!

Great Get-away!

This property has it all! Adults and grandkids had a great time playing in the waves, hunting sea shells and sea glass, bird watching, boogie boarding and building sand castles. The outdoor shower, gas grill, porch swing, and pier on ICW were great bonuses! It’s a quiet, clean neighborhood with friendly folks. We enjoyed making memories at such a special place!

Great Memorial Day get away!

This is our 3rd stay on Memorial Day in Sargent and each in a different rental. Loved staying on the beach side. Our family fit pretty well in this home. It had all the necessary needs and a nice big driveway!!

Wonderful

What a gem! The first thing you'll notice at Sea N Stars is how clean the property is. Just walking in the door you're welcomed by how bright and clean it looks and smells. The house is beautiful and well taken care of, Susan has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. From instructions on how to use the AC and TV down to a Kitchen that has just about everything you could possibly need. She has a book there with history about the area, restaurant suggestions (The Crab Trap Grill was a great!), and other info about the area. We are usually a road trip vacation family, always on the go. After our week at Sea N Stars, we all agree it was our best vacation yet. The location is close enough to the Galveston / Houston area that there is plenty to do on day trips, yet far enough away that you can sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of the surf with out all the hub-bub of a heavily populated area. We can't wait to visit again!

They thought of everything.

From games to chairs to fishing poles to a junk drawer full of stuff you might need, the owners provided everything we needed for a great family vacation. If you are looking for a worry-free place to stay, I highly recommend this beach house.

Great clean place to Stay if you want a private beach and canal setting

Everything was great. I would definitely go again. The only challenge you might run into here us the travel time if you want to visit populated tourist destinations for the kiddos. That's 30-90 minutes away if your looking for those activities.

My Favorite Home Away from Home!

Loved this place so much I came back for another stay by myself. Can’t wait to come again soon. I can’t say enough nice things about this house. Responsive host, great location right on the ocean, excellent amenities, very clean. Safe for solo travelers and perfect for groups. Book before it’s gone!

A Slice of Heaven!

We loved our stay so much we decided to book it again right away! It was so nice getting out of the city for a few days and taking long walks on the beach. Sargent Beach is a hidden gem--never crowded and clean--unlike most Houston-area beaches. Sea N Stars's location is primo... right on the beach and the bridge in the backyard heads straight to the ocean. I really appreciated the outdoor shower (which even has a nice privacy partition, plus hot AND cold water) and the nice beach chairs. The porch is lovely and perfect for dinner under the stars. It is so relaxing listening to the waves and the wind chimes. You can actually see the ICW from the back and front porches too, which was great for bird and barge watching. They have a fishing pier nearby that not only has a nice shade roof but also a counter for filleting. Even better, it's a great place to watch the sunset with a rum and coke. The house is very clean and well-stocked. It feels like home the moment you walk in the door. The WiFi is fast enough for WFH, and they have Roku, so you can easily log in to your streaming services. The appliances are way nicer than my apartment, and we loved cooking in the huge kitchen. The library and games supply is especially impressive. This is not your average beach house! They have really thought of everything and more! Susan is an excellent host and really goes out of her way to make sure you have a great stay. She is very responsive and has a lot of great tips about good spots for fishing, birding, and finding beach glass. This is my new favorite vacation spot, and I can't wait to come back. Thanks so much for having us!

Serene, off-the-beaten path. We wanted a beach without vehicle traffic and not crowded-- this home nailed those requirements. In August, the beach provided ~25ft space beyond the granite wall to play in the sand. The kids played for hours. Loved it, we'll return soon!

Nice House

The house was really nice and comfortable. I especially liked the outdoor couch on the deck. The outdoor shower with hot water was especially nice to get all the sand off the kids before letting them back in the house. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only downside was the location. I had been looking for a beach that has less car traffic than most Texas beaches we’ve been to and while Sargent definitely had no car traffic, it also had no beach. It seems all the hurricanes in the gulf this year have eroded away a lot of the sand, and the dunes. So the beach directly behind this house had at best a foot of sand between the granite wall and the ocean and the ocean obscured rocks and super slippery clay, which was impossible to walk on or play in. The granite wall is pretty uneven in places and has biggish gaps between rocks which was hard for my 2 year old to navigate. We did find a sandy beach when we drove up the island another couple miles, but having to load sandy kids back in the car is no fun. The shells were really good though. Where the dunes should have been was covered in tons of large beautiful shells. And we found some really cool shells that were trapped in the granite walls and in the rocks. We found a totally intact lighting whelk shell. I think this would be a good beach house for you if you want to just look at the ocean, or are into beach combing, or want to walk next to the water and don’t mind uneven terrain, or want to fish. But if you want to play in the water with your kids go somewhere else, especially during hurricane season.

Beautiful place and very clean. Everything we could possibly need was provided, unlike other places.

This is the absolute best place we have stayed at. Everything we needed was provided, and I mean EVERYTHING. My sister in law even took pictures of how she wants her 3rd or 4th house to look like. I think it would be her 4th house that she currently has. Anyway, if you need to get away, this is the place. Beautiful, clean and very well maintained home, just bring your food. All spices and utincels and cook ware are provided. I will definitely come back, very soon.

We have lived in the Midwest our entire lives and on our first trip to Texas, we fell in love with the beauty of the shore and friendliness of the south. Sea n Stars is our winter get away!

Sea n Stars was built in 2014, we are the original owners. We looked up and down the Texas coast and really thought Sargent Beach offered the best of everything. We liked the quiet beach--that you can hike in both directions as far as you can walk, the fishing, the ICW, and the people. The best fishing in the area is in Sargent Beach! This beach house was newly built and had all the features of home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
