Great place for big families

This was a great place to stay with a big family!! We absolutely loved the fire pit and fishing is always great on the creek. We will definitely be back to this house!

Wonderful Thanksgiving

My family and I have stayed at Big Fish Haus for 3 years. The kids love the big yard and fishing off the pier. Plenty of sleeping room and the kitchen is so well equipped and easy to work in. Love, love, love this place.

Beautiful house

It was very roomy and spacious for the family...kids enjoyed fishing off the pier...made the 9yr old birthday boy happy....loved everything BUT maybe upgrade the utensils and sharper knifes and newer cooking pans...other then that it was good..thank you

Great for Families

Great house for the family. Plenty of space so you're not jumping into each other. Everything you need to prepare meals and games for the kids. The dock is great too. Will definitely stay again.

Plenty of room

This house has everything you’d need. Just bring food bait and some wood for the fire pit. Has a new fishing pier and caught a lot of fish. We’ll be renting again soon.

So much fun!!!

This is the second year we stayed here!! Just as it was before! We absolutely love this house! It’s so roomy and just perfect for all of us! The kiddos fished off the dock nightly and caught tons of sand trout every cast! We will definitely be back!

Weekend getaway

House was as listed except for dock which must have been impacted by recent hurricane. Kitchen had everything needed and more.

Very quite and nice

Fishing was good, everyone caught something, mangrove, croakers and drum. Even caught 2 crabs which we let go. Clean and very quiet which we really enjoyed. Thank you very much and would love to do it again soon.

First Time and it was charming!

We stayed here a couple of daya with our family of 11. It was great! We were here for a funeral, but we had time to enjoy the amenities. We caught several big fish and had two great meals at the rental. Very clean and well appointed. We will be back.

Family getaway

Met the kids and grandkids for a week long getaway :) The house was set up perfect. The kitchen was made to be cooked in :) while still being able to visit with everyone. Patio and dock were great…minus the mosquitos. We caught 4 huge redfish in the surf, all right at 42”. We can’t wait to do it all again.

Wonderful weekend at BigFishHaus

We all had a terrific weekend at Big Fish Haus. The fish were biting really well but mostly small ones. And that’s OK cause they’re fine too. Kids had a little swimming pool and a duck wattled over and got in the pool with one of the little girls. It was great.

We really enjoyed the house. It is perfect for my son that is wheelchair bonded. Didn’t caught a lot of fish but that’s okay. Enjoy just having a piece of mind. We also had an unwanted guest a Gator that constantly keep eating the crab bait. We will be back.

Lovely 1-story with only 2 steep steps between downstairs & kitchen/bedroom/batth

It's perfect for us, with one exception. House rules forbid frying fish in the house. Lovely decorated home; roomy; good TV reception. Fish & crab off the pier.

Best Haus on the Canal

This property exceeded our expectations!!! They have had a couple upgrades since the listing photos. The outdoor fire place is amazing. The whole place is amazing!! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some!!! We got to relax and recoup, which is the name of the game.

15th Birthday Fishing Trip

Fishing & Crabbing in style on Caney Creek!

Caught 14 crabs in only a few hours - Twice! Also caught Sand Trout, Croakers, Mangrove Snapper (not counting the undersized Flounder & Redfish we couldn't keep). Kept up with business on my laptop from the kitchen table with a beautiful view of the water each morning. Peaceful getaway in lovely surroundings. Spacious kitchen. Appliances & guest needs are superior. Good beds & comfy den. Big TV's. Good Wi-Fi. Decor & view are amazing! We were welcomed with a vase of fresh baby's breath flowers when we arrived. Stayed a week. No grocery stores nearby, so bring your own produce & meat products. Owner VERY responsive to questions & needs. Best rental ever! We will be back!
