Detta hem byggdes och ägs av en landskaps- och hemmearkitekt! Ägaren är också vegan så det finns en fullt fungerande mikrogård på fastigheten.

Detta moderna hem har återvunna nödställda trägolv på övre plan. Även på den nivån finns det ett glasgolv som går in i sovrummet.
Vardagsrummet har en 55-tv med de flesta kabelkanaler. Köket är alla bänkskivor i granit med apparater i rostfritt stål.
Nedervåningen har alla målade betonggolv. Trapphuset är också allt rostfritt stål.
Det tredje bonusrummet har en dubbelsäng.

På baksidan av fastigheten finns också ett 30 fot högt däck med loungemöbler, en värmare och ett nytt 6-personers Hot Springs Spa.

Hela fastigheten är extremt avskild för sin plats i centrum av staden.

Fastigheten ligger ungefär 10 minuter med promenad till Hillcrest centrum. Flygplatsen, centrum, stränder, Sea World, Zoo, Balboa Park, etc. ... ligger bara några minuter från detta centralt belägna hem.

Peaceful hideaway right in the middle

The Buddha House is calm and relaxing, with great outdoor spaces. So nice to read a book or have a beer on one of the decks hidden in the trees. At the same time just a couple blocks from Vons, coffee shops, restaurants, and perfect access to almost every neighborhood. Our host was super accommodating when we needed it!

Beautiful but flawed

Buddha house & its surrounding gardens are beautiful. But it needs some attention. The house had a very strong “wet” smell. Opening all the windows did nothing to mitigate it. Lower level bedroom door was not working. Had to fix it to use bedroom. There were no extra towels to use hot tub. There was no extra toilet paper & roll was only a half. The garden pathways and stairs to hot tub are hazardous. Hanging wires, broken concrete, uneven surfaces. There are “we are not responsible for accidents” signs posted everywhere. So using them was a definite risk. None of this was listed online. The garden was a huge draw in the listing. Very disappointed we couldn’t enjoy them. The welcome letter stated to not use the driveway to the front door “as there have been many broken ankles”. Stated to use the stairs & bridge. These were a trip hazard as well.difficult to take a suitcase up. All in all the property is beautiful but not what the listing showed.

Wonderful stay

The house is very beautiful, Zapher is a great host we met him as we was pulling up and he gave us a tour of the property, he was very communicative and got back to us promptly with whatever question we had, the property is beautiful with a Koi pond and waterfall and just a Seren relaxing vibe will definitely book again when I'm back in the area

Excellent stay, great host

Great and unique property, with lots of cool details indoor and outdoor. Lots of places to chill and take in the scenery, very comfortable sleeping in the bedrooms and cooking meals. Location allows for very easy access to most points of interest and beaches in the city. Overall just an excellent experience staying here with 3 kids. The host is fantastic. We hope to be back again soon!

Hidden Gem

Highly recommend this lovely home! It was spotless, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent communication with Zapher - very clear and easy check in and check out information. The hot tub is fantastic. Just the property in general is fabulous. So peaceful you forget you are in the middle of a huge city. Wonderful location and the sweetest dog, Anni. I highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

Girls Weekend

The property is beautiful and has lots of great out door space. The owner was very friendly and showed us around the beautiful backyard. Its a nice, quiet neighbohood and a great place for a relaxing weekend.

Zoo trip

We loved staying here!.. it was so peaceful and a great location for old town, the zoo, MIDWAY Museum. Our host was quick to respond and made our stay flawless.. would definitely recommend this property.

Restful and relaxing in nature

We stayed at the Buddha House for a weekend to spend time with our teen grandchildren, their Dad (our son) and ourselves. We all just loved this house! A great location 10 min. from the heart of San Diego- close to Balboa Park. Sits amidst greenery setting; comfortable beds, lovely hot tub on deck. The owners sweet dog, Abbi, was the best part for our grands who just loved getting to play with her. Great communication from owner. If you want quiet, relaxing, clean and neat, close to center of San Diego then we highly recommend. All the amenities you need for a nice stay.

Family time

We always meet up with our family in San Diego. Me from NY, my sister fr FL get together every year in Sept or Oct and though we’re now over 70 we appreciate the time we have. This was a lovely dwelling tho a few too many steps for those using a cane. However it’s all worth the effort👌 Zapher was always in touch and our stay - with fresh herbs and tomatoes fr garden was priceless!

You'll love staying here!

We had a wonderful experience here. Zapher was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful - everything you could ask for in a host. He shared his garden with us, and we enjoyed delicious tomatoes, oregano, and Thai basil. We found the property peaceful and quiet, an oasis of tropical greenery with inviting places to sit or soak in the hot tub. At the same time it is conveniently central to many amenities, including Balboa Park, restaurants, and grocery stores. The beach was only 15 minutes away. The house was spotless and well appointed. I highly recommend you stay at Buddha House when you come to San Diego. You'll love it!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is an incredibly unique property. It's a single family home on a nice large lot. It's in the heart of the city but you feel like you're in the middle of a jungle in Costa Rica. The walkability of this house is also so central that you can walk to Hillcrest, Mission Hills and Balboa Park within 10-15 minutes. Little Italy and downtown are about a 30-40 minute walk.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

It's incredibly secluded with lush tropical landscaping. Please note, in the winter months the landscaping is not the same as the spring and summer. San Diego does have seasons although they are not huge season changes like the midwest. The photos on this property were taken in the spring.
