We loved the amount of games there were! The location was great being on the lake and walking distance to the village. However, the property was pretty dirty when we arrived and the hot tub was broken and we were not made aware of this prior to arrival.

Location perfect, very clean, everything worked,Had more than we needed, host was excellent, No one got bored, walked to town, fishing was good, hot tub relaxing, dogs felt at home.This was an amazing location and one of our best family gatherings. Hope we were good guests can’t wait to return!

The owner was very nice and responsive, however, the property was not as advertised on VRBO. The entire property was worn and not maintained. The backyard was overgrown with weeds, and wasps were swarming the backyard when we arrived. The pool table had a worn cloth and cue sticks had parts missing. The other games were very worn and needed repair. The most disturbing part of our stay was that there were ants in the upstair bath. My grandchildren’s toothbrushes were covered with ants in the morning when they woke up. When we turned on the upstairs bathroom shower, brown water came out. The owner did send the cleaning lady to try to help with the situation. She did her best, I would not recommend renting this property, until it was properly updated.

Even though one of our days it rained all day and the power was out, we still had a great time. There are so many fun activities to do or just sit by the fire and enjoy the lakeview. This is our second year and it was just as good as last year, and last year was wonderful!

Another great trip for the books! This is our 3rd year in a row booking this phenomenal lakehouse to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The village is an enjoyable close walk, and the lake views and access are unbeatable. This home remains our group’s favorite Big Bear home! Tons of indoor & outdoor space, huge jacuzzi, A/C, firepit, multiple showers and game areas provided comfort and fun for all of us!

Perfect location

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We absolutely love it. It is very family friendly and great for groups, Walking distance to the Marina and the village. Awesome and huge hot tub. Perfect yard for our dogs. Our hosts were great too. We definitely will be returning. Highly recommend.

Big Bear 2024 Reunion

As we entered we saw one of the most beautiful views of Big Bear Lake! The home was spacious with something for everyone. The backyard area had a place for everyone to enjoy the lake view. The house was efficiently supplied with everything needed to play games, barbecue, cook, and dine all together. We loved it!

Another Amazing Stay

This is our 2nd time staying at this fabulous home! The property, views, and location are amazing. This house has it all. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard, ping pong, poker, and pool. Using our paddleboards was a breeze with the lake only a few steps away. Also walking distance to the Village. The host is top notch in responding quickly. We can’t wait to stay at this home again!

Great house on the lake

The house is great, with a lot of games and space to explore, the outside area with the fire pit is amazing.The bad: All the glasses and cups are plastic, they are so cheap, they are dirty even if washed. This was a real bummer to drink out of terrible plastic glasses and eat out of plastic plates after you pay two grand for a night..

Hi Pavel. I am glad that you enjoyed the home for the most part, but I wish you had reached out to us with your concerns during your stay. We have brand new replacements for just about all of our most used items- so replacing the glasses during your stay would have been an easy fix. I hope you can understand that we specifically chose plastic drinkware because of our experience with guests using them in the hot tub and the safety concerns of having real glass. Also our plates are all ceramic, except for some of the ones we keep for the small kids, so I'm not sure if there were other plastic plates left by another guest or something. Regardless, I am glad that you enjoyed your stay, and we would welcome you back for another visit. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention, and we will make sure to replace any excessively worn items immediately.

This property was everything I had hoped it would be for my families stay. I have a large family with lots of grandkids under the age of 7 and the open backyard with artificial grass was so very nice and clean for the kids and me. The kids were able to play without us worrying about them getting hurt and we could enjoy the view of the lake. This is the first time in my rental history that we used the hot tub. It was very clean and large enough for everyone to enjoy and it was in the perfect spot so that parents could sit in the hot tub and the kids could play right in front of them. The great room was wonderful. Having the kitchen, TV, pool table and dining area all together made it very family friendly and we weren't on top of each other, it was very spacious. The owners/hosts were very creative with making shapes with the towels and toilet paper that were provided. It was such a special touch that it impressed my husband, which he even took pictures of. One of the biggest positives for us was the air conditioning! We are from the desert and even though the property is in the mountains it can still get hot. This was another first that the advertised air conditioning worked. This property was very clean and spacious. It had all the little things you would need, gates for the stairs, fans etc... We will definitely rent this property again.

Perfect Summer Vacay

This amazing home, steps from the lake, was the perfect spot for our large family! We are a large extended family of 14 and this house accommodated everyone. We were never on top of each other because there is something to do and space for everyone. Our kids are teenagers and there was no shortage of activities that kept them off of their phones! When they weren't wakesurfuing in the lake or sitting in the jacuzzi, they played hours of pool, ping pong, and shuffleboard. The outdoor fire pit was another favorite spot. The dining table fit everyone...even though the teens opted for outdoor seating every night. No one wanted the week to end and we are looking forward to coming back!

Perfection

If you’re thinking about booking this property, do it! You won’t regret it. It checked all the boxes for us. The location is amazing, right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to Pine Knot and a short drive to the slopes. This home has it all. It has plenty of space and would be great for traveling with kids or for an adult trip. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is great. It was immaculately clean and the owners are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. There are a lot of activities in the house which was perfect for a fun game night in. The back yard is incredible with a fire pit and the hot tub overlooking the lake. We are so happy we got to stay here. Even better in person than how it looks in the pictures! Worth every penny!

Awesome

I was a hero with my teenage kids and wife for having found this home. It made staying in as much fun as going out. Pool, poker, shuffleboard, ping pong, hot tub, and outdoor cooking. Right down to the Sonus sound system, everything was great. Highly recommend!

This house has it all!

Plenty of bedrooms, baths, etc. and plenty of activities for everyone! Especially great for teens - ping pong, pool table, shuffleboard, spa, lake access, games (xbox)! We had a wonderful time and what a great view!

Awesome property for Families/groups going to Big Bear.

We loved everything about our recent stay. Donny and Evelyn Chen were super responsive and welcoming. The house was right on the lake and just a few minute walk to the village with all its shops and restaurants. The house itself was beautiful - and beautifully decorated. There were nine of us and plenty of bedrooms to spread out in. TV's were everywhere. The water pressure in the shower was great. We would definitely want to stay here should we return to Big Bear. .

Property was beautiful and perfect location. Amenities were great for kids and adults. Wonderful attention to detail in the house. Lakefront, right next to the marina and boat rentals, and a short walk to the viallge and restaurants. Thank you!!
