Mahalo for your quick, kind review after the wonderful finish you had at our World Ironman 2026 race ! We try to provide the best for our guests during their stay. We are on the 3rd floor which allows our lovely trade winds to cool our home, along with ceiling and floor fans. This has worked for us in the past and keeps our nightly rate reasonable. Our mattress is a new queen size, as stated on our website . We wish you well in your future races and hope to keep up with your future endeavors. WE LOVE OUR IRONMAN participants !

We loved hosting you Anastasia, congratulations on your Iron man race and thank you for your 5 star review. We try our best to make our home quiet, comfortable and updated for us all to enjoy. Even though our home is close to Kona and we walk in almost daily we do encourage guests to rent a car. There is so much to see here !! Visiting Hilo, Punuluu black sands beach, Waipio Valley and other places on our beautiful island make memories to last a lifetime :) Do come visit again !!

There is always something new and exciting to do around each corner. We can't forget our gorgeous sunsets either. Keeping our chairs handy in the trunk is a must when it comes to that time of day. Loving the comments our guests post , and this one gave us a big laugh. We park our bums on the beach as much as possible too :) We are so happy you enjoyed our home , Alii Villas are the best, and we strive to keep ours comfortable, clean and updated. Do come visit again, there is so much to do and see here on The Big Island. And if you ever have another couple that wants to tag along, our next door neighbors unit is beautiful, they are very sweet and accommodating . Fun time for all !!

Happy you enjoyed your stay , did so many things and even shared pictures with us :) Yes August and Sept are usually the warmest months in Kona. We do state on the website no A/C and most rentals don't offer it as Hawaii has the highest electric costs in the nation, hence owners charge much more if they offer air . Being on the 3rd floor also offers us the cool trade winds when blowing. Owning our home for almost 8 years now and only once was it warm for us and yes it was August . Thank you Bob for the nice review. Our VRBO website states that we do not have wifi, but since our last 2 renters have asked , we will be checking into it on our next trip over. Since we are fairly new owners we are learning as we go. We want our guests to always give us feedback and we promise to listen and try to fulfill wants and needs. Aloha Jason, thank you for the nice review. We just returned home from Kona , before you arrived , where we upgraded our wifi router and modem giving faster speed.. We pride ourselves in customer service and wish you would have called or texted us. We would have notified Spectrum immediately with a quick fix. We just spoke to them and the company itself has been having issues in the whole Kona area and are working on the problem. Sometimes the things we love about Kona are the things we hate about Kona. As for dining inside, as I'm sure you noticed we are very meticulous and keep our home very nice but liveable . We usually rent to couples who love to dine on the lanai and take in the gorgeous ocean view. Our listing mentions outside lanai dining. We are glad you enjoyed your visit. Safe future travels !
