The condo was amazing! It was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, and the host was easy to communicate with. I would definitely rent this condo again; I highly recommend it!

Great one bedroom condo on ocean

Owner was fabulous. Condo was clean and very well stocked. Morning sunrises were spectacular, we even were fortunate enough to watch a rocket launch and a "flower" moon rise one evening. The onsite pool was nice too.

Heavenly view

Unit was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the view was incredible!! The beach was beautiful and we loved the blowing rocks at the next beach over.

Excellant place to stay

Anyone who loves the sound and look of the ocean right outside your door must go. Atleast once in a lifetime or more! Great place. Thank you. Only suggestion would be to put a different mattress on the pull out couch. Otherwise the best. No complaints!

A-1 all the way. Smooth communication with homeowner... simple and generous. Great condo with all the amenities. Very well furbished with e.thing u need in the kitchen. Lots of space to hang and put away clothes. Exceptional view from balcony. Very well tended and very quiet resort where the condo is situated. We read and swam at the beach in front of condo all day long...Nice beach...tons of shells... tranquil... some days were quite windy...the wing boarders were giving a nice show on the water! Stuart is a super nice little city ... LOTS of nice restaurants! (Just a detail that i mention in case: the tv and dvd provided : very nice tv sets but cable service is not HD in the living room... Im just mentioning this in case u are staying a long time and are a movie or tv buff! ) So thk u very much Laura...we may very well come back again. Hard to leave today.... ☺️

Angenehme Ferienwohnung direkt hinter den Dünen

Die Anlage hat schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel, jedoch ist der Zustand sehr gepflegt. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da uns die Wassertemperatur zu warm war. Die Anlage war Anfang Oktober kaum belegt, die Strände schön leer. Um den Supermarkt oder Restaurants zu besuchen, muss man mit dem Auto fahren. Fußläufig gibt es den Golfplatz und Apartmentanlagen (in sehr gepflegtem Zustand). Baden im Meer ist wie anderswo auch am Atlantik nur an ruhigen Tagen möglich, da die Brandung sehr stark ist.

We just got home from our Amazing stay at this Beautiful condo by the beach. This property has Everything you could ask for and More….Fully stocked with All your needs for a Great, Carefree stay. Everything was provided, even pool noodles and beach chairs, books and games, Perfect! Laura is an Amazing Host and was Very easy to communicate with. Absolutely Our Best VRBO experience yet. We will Definitely be planning another stay in the near future….Thank You Again Laura for sharing your Beautiful Condo with Us….

Ocean Retreat

We were invited to a family wedding in Stuadt FL in April. We desperately needed a retreat from a long winter in the great Northeast. We decided to change a weekend stay into a mini vacation by the ocean. This property was everything we could have asked for! We woke up to the sunrise over the ocean as we sipped cofee on the bakcony. We spent sun filled days on the private beach, a short walk from the building and down the stairs and you're there effortlessly! The owner was gracious in reaching out to us and the condo was tastefully up to date and immaculate ! We would return and would recommend this delightful property.

Back to Paradise

The second visit to Laura's Pelican condo was better than the first. We enjoyed the rocking chair on the balcony, and sat for hours watching the surfers and the waves. The full moon was spectacular, rising in full view from the condo. The building was busier this time, but very quiet above. We enjoyed the pod coffee each morning, and her fully stocked kitchen. The propane grills cooked an excellent steak, and the pool was the perfect temperature. Our December visit was summertime for the first few days (shorts and sleeveless), and a bit cool after that (one light sweater maybe). The Island Princess sunset cruise went up the river past the beautiful mansions all decked out in their holiday lights, and the Cajun restaurant in Jensen Beach had the world's best crab cakes with Remoulade sauce. The Jupiter Beach road was a special treat, as well.

Property was very nice. It was an older unit and was under going construction update outside while we were there. The bed was firmer than we like.

A Great Stay

My only reason for not writing this review would be to keep Laura's condo a secret. After many hours spent watching the waves, the windsurfers, the fishermen and the pelicans, I can truly report a relaxing visit. The balcony is very sunny, with lots of comfy chairs and tables. The sunrises are lovely. This is the best stocked condo I have ever rented. Coffee pods and filters for the two coffeemakers, spices, salt, pepper and sugar, excellent large appliances and a gigantic countertop which can be reached from the kitchen and the glass topped table and chairs provide an excellent kitchen experience. Now I want my own Pyrex casseroles with lids! She also has generous amounts of paper products, soap, sponges, cleaning products, beach towels and chairs, tin foil, flashlights and even bandaids. The bedroom, down the hall from the living room and bath, has a very firm mattress and a second huge tv. The bathroom has a large tiled walk in shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The heated pool is also great. This condo is much larger than I expected. My husband and I have booked our time for the holidays at the end of this year. It was a very quiet place to stay during the Covid pandemic. Everyone wore masks around the property, and she allowed several days between guests. All in all, a good experience.

Great for a family of 4

I stayed here for 10 days with my husband and 3 and 8 year old girls right before Christmas. The space and location was perfect for 2 adults and 2 young kids. The ocean view is beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. Quick and easy access to the pool and beach. The pool was heated to 85 degrees which was perfect for December. The unit was clean on arrival and had many necessities to make our stay more convenient and home like. Even though she wasn’t local the owner Laura was very accommodating and responded promptly to any question. We had some AC issues (which is inevitable in Florida) that required a part to be replaced by an AC company. Laura was very quick to try to resolve the issue and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The condo building and amenities were nice and well managed too. We also enjoyed walking outside around the condo. There are sidewalks down the main road that lead to some beach parks. Our favorite was “Clifton S. Perry,” which has beautiful long walking bridges through a mangrove forest that leads to the inter-coastal with docks, which was especially nice at sunset. The condo is about mile from a surf shop, Publix, a nail salon, and the oceanographic center, as well as the Elliott museum (which I think was closed for COVID). It’s near a water sports place too and is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Stuart. We have family in the area so we visit Stuart often and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Five Star Destination!

We loved the condo! We're well seasoned VRBO travelers and this place is as good as it gets. Unit is actually nicer than pictured. It's in immaculate condition, up to date, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Extremely well stocked kitchen includes all the cookware, utensils, and small appliances one could hope for. The ocean view from the balcony is beautiful. The owner is very communicative and gracious. The Pelican building is spotless and well maintained. Parking is very convenient. Definitely a Five Star destination. Looking forward to staying there again.

Living the dream

Property owner was super friendly and easy to work with. Our property was exactly as described. The condo was stocked with anything you might even think you might need. Even sun tan lotion, and a “welcome” bottle of wine (which we did not drink, but she provided it). I surf fished for the first time, and it was an easy 3 minute walk to our beach, maybe 75 yards away. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the mighty Atlantic Ocean every night. We will stay with Laura again for sure! Vacation in paradise, and not shoveling snow in Colorado!

Loved the condo and the area

Condo was fully equipped with everything you'll need. I even needed a sewing kit and it was there! Ocean view was spectacular! Loved the area and people were very friendly and helpful. Only bad part was that we had to go back home to the cold in MN.

Great condo! Amazing views just steps from the beach.

We had a great time staying at this condo. The photos truly don't do it justice. The second floor balcony has an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen is beautiful, with granite counter tops and well stocked with all the spices, paper products and laundry supplies you could need. FYI - laundry is down the hall and requires quarters. The kitchen has all major appliances including a griddle and a waffle maker :) The blender didn't work, but I used the mini food processor to make my smoothie instead. The bathroom is nicely updated, with luxurious hotel towels. Again, plenty of paper products, soaps and a few first aid supplies. The bedroom is nicely put together as well, we loved that it was so cool and dark, making for a great night of sound sleep. The building as a whole was very well maintained and clean. The pool was clean and welcoming with convenience restrooms on site. We were only two this stay, but we could see coming back with our two little boys and making it a family get away too. We live in Orlando and have never been to this area of coastal Florida, it was a pleasant surprise with blue waters, seashells as far as the eye could see and plenty of fun stuff nearby. A great condo, with great owners and an amazing beach. What more could you want? We'd LOVE to return!

Wonderful vacation!

This is the second year that my friend and I spend in Laura's condo. We love the area and the condo is just perfect. We love the view from the balcony both in the morning with our coffee and in the evening with a cocktail. Laura has it stock with everything you need.. There are two umbrellas and two chairs to take to the beach which is great in the Florida sun. Laura is so easy to deal with and so accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Laura, for a great 10 days!

Great location. Wonderful trip

This condo is simply perfect. Amazing ocean views and a quiet complex. Could not have asked for more in a vacation rental. All you need is a swimsuit and a toothbrush.
