Välkommen till den här informationen för min lägenhet i Faubourg St. John område i New Orleans, som ligger mellan Stadsparken och nöjesparker, och genomskärs av Bayou St. John.

Detta är den äldsta stadsdel i New Orleans utanför de franska kvarteren.

Detta hus byggdes i början av 1940-talet och jag är den tredje ägaren. Den hyra enhet är nere i mitt hus. Det finns två sovrum, ett med en king size-säng och ett med en drottning. Sängar, sängkläder, kuddar, möbler och vitvaror är helt nya.

Om du på humör att laga mat finns det ett fullt utrustat modernt kök.
Badrummet är nyrenoverat med badkar och dusch.

Central luft, trådlös, kabel-TV, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, tvättstuga, privat gård samt en screening i veranda. Gott om utrymme för cykelförvaring.

Om du inte är bekant med detta område, du är en två minuters promenad från Esplanade bussen som går till de franska kvarteren. Du har också tillgång till gatan bilen på Beauregard Circle och Esplanade.

Även om det skulle vara möjligt att sova ett stort antal personer i denna lägenhet, som för närvarande har en enda badrum. Alltså, jag har en fyra personer max.

Beautiful, spacious unit in nice area

Gorgeous house, more space than I expected, clean throughout with a nice little side yard. Canal at end of block is a nice space to walk. Neighborhood is nice & felt safe at all hours. Owner had great communication & offered local food options. Excellent stay!

Convenient location, historic area, wonderful property

This property is the bottom floor of a large historic home located a short walk from City Park. There, a visitor can enjoy the Art Museum and the Sculpture Garden. There also is the streetcar terminal from which trolleys depart regularly to the French Quarter. A short walk in the other direction uncovers such neighborhood treasures as a well-provisioned grocery store, several restaurants, a sports bar, and my very favorite lunch place Liuzza's By the Track, which features original New Orleans specialties. I bought some terrific gumbo and etoufee to take to my brother in Mississippi. Vince, the owner of the property, lives upstairs and is immediately accessible. I loved staying in this spacious home and my next trip to New Orlean will center around the availability of this property.

I really wanted to love this place because the neighborhood was amazing and the host was great, but I couldn’t because of all the pest. We found multiple dead roaches in our bedrooms, and a live one was above our bed when we woke up the next morning. There were mouse droppings in some drawers and cabinets in the kitchen.

Brief but wonderful

Vince's property is a spacious, well appointed apartment in a lovely part of New Orleans. We were all set to enjoy a special Christmas there, but nature intervened and we had to cut our trip short. Vince could not have been more understanding of our situation, and we are so grateful for his kindness and generosity. As regular visitors to New Orleans, we fully intend to book this property again. It exceeded our expectations and we look forward to having a "proper" visit there in the future.

Quite area, perfect for our trip

This was the perfect get away for the family and our two dogs. It was located where it was perfect for morning or afternoon walks with the dogs along the bayou; an easy walk to the Streetcar or the bus to get into the French Quarter for our adventures. The unit had everything we needed for our family with teenagers. Our host was attentive and responsive to our needs. We would easily stay here again.

Perfect location for a quiet stay!

Really excellent Bayou St. John location, perfect for a quiet spot to hangout for a weekend. The new porch swing is lovely and the space has everything you need to make a meal and chill out on the porch!

Great stay, lovely area

We had a lovely time staying in this place! Vince was communicative and responsive, the flat was clean and cared for, and the location was perfect. We walked to City Park to grab Cafe Du Monde, hopped the street car down Canal to the French Quarter, and took the 91 bus right by the house down to Magazine. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

My husband, 2 dogs and I stayed here for a couple of nights, and it was by far the best location! We were in walking distance to City Park, Parkway and other beer gardens/restaurants. The house was so cozy and we all felt so comfortable. Would definatly stay here again.

Worked for us

This property is not super fancy but for the price it worked for us. The location was near where we wanted to be. The home had no wash clothes so we had to buy some but not too big of a deal. Love the city park area!

Quiet surprising wonderful !

This is just a great place. Spacious room and everything you need. In a great area. The owner is so gracious and on site to help with anything you need. Huge kitchen with anything you need. The screened in porch is exactly where I could sit all evening. The on street parking was easy and the fenced in yard was perfect for my two old dogs. I want to stay here again. Comfortable, clean, so much character!!!!!

Family trip to NOLA w/dogs

Overall this was a great location for kids and dogs. There’s a private fenced yard for your four legged family members which was less stress for us. In a safe neighborhood and only a short 10 min drive to downtown area. We always found street parking in front of the house. We didn’t stay at the apt during the day, we were out having adventures. Communication with the owner was easy and we had no problems. If we came to NOLA again with my 2 and 4 legged kids, I would stay here again.

Went down and the property was very clean and well maintained. Perfect location everything is a short Lyft ride or a quick walk. Vincent was very helpful. Will stay again

Amazing stay right on the bayou that's perfect for Voodoofest or just visiting New Orleans

We come to New Orleans every year for Voodoofest, and this was easily one of the best places we've stayed at. Vincent's place was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Vincent himself was extremely helpful and was available anytime we needed anything. The location is just amazing. Waking up to a great view of the bayou and being near tons of restaurants and shops was a definite plus. We lacked nothing and we'll be back next year if we can.
