Edgewater 1200 erbjuder två sovrum, två badrum och några av de bästa utsikterna i Destin. Ägarna har gjort ett otroligt jobb med inredning och dekorering av denna lägenhet, för att inte tala om uppdateringarna i köket och badet. Denna lägenhet har fräsch färg, ett nytt sortiment, kakelgolv hela och fantastiska nya altandörrar som leder ut till balkongen från sovrummet och vardagsrummet. Koppla av på den rymliga terrassen och njut av den mest fantastiska panoramautsikt över vattnet.

Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng och eget badrum. Gäst sovrummet har två dubbelsängar och ett angränsande bad också. I vardagsrummet hittar du en drottning bäddsoffa, så denna härliga lägenhet kan lätt rymma upp till åtta gäster. Med plattskärms-TV i varje rum, matsal på bordsskivan och vid bordet och alla nödvändiga köksutrustning, kan du njuta av komforten i ditt hem i lyxen på din strandresidens.

The property was located on a private beach, so we did not have tents and loud music to obstruct the view of the sound of the waves. It was so relaxing. Great location to shopping and we could walk down the beach to the Surf Hut for a seafood dinner.

The guest room closest to the hall way is a double room which is great for kids but you can hear the people passing by at all hours. Everything else was perfect as far as amenities. Beach hut was open maybe 50% of the time. Staff was very helpful. Location was perfect. Unit does need some cosmetic updates but all in all 8/10

Loved staying at Edgewater

Condo was a perfect size for a family of 4. Entire property is very clean with easy access to the beach. We will definitely be staying at Edgewater when we visit Destin again.

Excellent!

We so enjoyed our first trip to Florida and staying at the Majestic sun! The unit was clean and we had a most everything we needed. Whatever we didn’t have, we could just take a quick drive to the market. It was close to everything including the gorgeous beach it was on. I would recommend staying here.

Great Trip!

I took my daughter and some friends for a much needed girls trip. The rooms were just as pictured on the listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing we disliked was the ice-maker took forever to make ice. Minor issue. The rest of the stay was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Baby's First Beach Vacay

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities. So this made cooking family meals in the condo so easy. Make sure you bring salt, pepper, sugar, and any other spices you cook with. The pools and the baby pool was perfect for the baby. We were so thankful for the 2 complimentary beach chairs. This greatly lightened our load of stuff to carry to the beach. And, most importantly, the view from the room was amazing.

Perfect location on the beach.

We stayed on the 12th floor and our condo was wonderful. It was clean and updated. It has everything we needed in the kitchen and a washer and dryer to make things easier on everyone. They are in the process of updating the entire property, one elevator is being rebuilt and the will rebuild the other one when that one is done. Even being down an elevator, we seldom had a long wait. The pool area is wonderful, but it could use some more chairs around the pool. The beach is so close. We have a large vehicle so we needed to park outside the garage. There are a lot of spaces, but it gets full fast because some cars and smaller vehicles that could park in the garage park in these spots. There is a large grocery store and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The location of the condo and the condo itself are amazing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon walking in for the first time, there was a dead palmetto bug in the middle of the family room. The condo was a bit outdated. The shower was very dark and a little hard to get in and out of in the master. The ceiling fans in both bedrooms made loud clicking noises so could not be used. We did find box fans so had to use those so the bedrooms were not so hot at night. The location was excellent, as was the view. We love Edgewater. Would be nice if the tiki bar had been open later than 3:30.

What I expected

We enjoy staying at Edgewater. Although every unit has different decor, the unit layout is typically the same. Everything about 1200 was good. Clean and comfortable. Some earlier reviews mentioned dishwasher problems. The dishwasher now appears to be new. Being close to the elevator is definitely a plus and there’s no noise from the elevator in the unit at all. Even riding the elevator seems very quiet. Again, Edgewater is a great place as it is very secure and private while being located near many things. We will be staying here anytime we travel to the Destin area and would definitely consider staying in 1200 again. BTW, although fire alarms have been a problem in the past, the alarms did not go off, at all, for the week we were there, thankfully.

Beautiful View

Overall a great condo! Nice size for a family of 4. Everything as advertised and pictured except I believe the couches are new. Certainly not an issue! Kitchen is well stocked. No less than 4 hairdryers when we were there and a little closet with some beach items that probably come and go - floats, balls, chairs. No hangers which was odd. This unit comes with beach service during the season and that is huge! You cannot bring your own umbrella or canopy. Plus it's nice to have someone else handle it. One negative is that we found the master bedroom a bit warm at night. Not unbearable, but take note if that will bother you. There is a quiet ceiling fan that helps.

We absolutely love Edgewater, I’ve stayed in various units since 2008. We loved the location, right next to the elevators which was really nice with our little one. You couldn’t hear anything from inside the unit at all! They provided everything we needed for our short trip, I knew to bring our own spices for when we cooked. The only complaint I have is that the ice maker inside the freezer does not work, it appears they’re switching it out maybe because there was 2 full size fridges in our unit so we used the one that was more so in the living room than in the kitchen. But with me breastfeeding we had to have ice for the bottles we needed to take to the beach so we just went and bought a bag of ice. Hindsight, no big deal but it was an inconvenience. Overall we would stay again, great condo!
