The host was amazing and the property was well stocked and maintained for the beach and other outdoor activities. We liked the cozy lanai and the overall aesthetic was so welcoming. The propane range was also a major plus as we do like to cook while on vacation. It’s important to ask ahead before purchasing beach items that are not necessary. The host was also gracious to provide a lengthy binder on nearby restaurants and gave some tips on fun activities around Koloa. A “local connection” was great to have as you can easily spend hours researching these things before your arrival. What an amazing experience! Will come back one day!

Cutest cottage! Loved the kitchen, the screened Lanai and the bbq grill in the cozy/private back yard. We loved being within walking of the beach and restaurants.

The cottage is in such a perfect location and the host really thinks of everything. I loved that hey have plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and even snorkel equipment. I packed my own snorkel and mask bu the fins I could borrow were great! Great neighborhood for solo travelers too.

We enjoyed our stay it was very peaceful. House was fully stocked with anything you could think of items for the beach and cooking in there again. As someone that frequence the island, I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Cottage Stay!

This is an awesome property! It was very charming and in excellent condition, with plenty of space. The beach is a very short walk away. All the living/sleeping spaces were very comfortable, and the cottage was well-outfitted with everything we needed (kitchen, bath, beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, etc). Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cottage in Poipu. It had everything we needed for a beach-centric vacation on Kaua’i. It is a short walk to Poipu and Brennecke’s beach, Puka Dog’s, and the Nukomoi surf shop. It’s also a 10 minute drive to Kƍloa which has all the shops and restaurants you’d ever need plus a Big Save for grocery store items. You can also walk up to Kalapaki Joe’s for happy hour and not have to drive back home! There are quite a few rentals on the street but the local neighbors are also quite friendly - some shared fresh mango with us during our stay. Despite not having a beach view, we didn’t feel like we were missing out at all - the beach is so close and you can hear the waves in the morning and evenings while relaxing on the covered porch. We split our Kaua’i vacation between this property and a condo on the beach and I think we decided we’d have preferred the beach house experience in Poipu for the full stay if we could go back in time. 9.8/10. Awesome property. Would love to stay again!

Perfect stay!

Visited Kauai for the first time with my husband and two toddlers. This was the perfect place to stay! We spent a lot of time down the street at the beach, and all the amenities of this house made it so easy. We enjoyed using all the beach gear, the lovely outdoor shower, the washer and dryer. The house was very clean, and the beds were so comfortable. My kids were able to share a room, and the portable crib really helped. We loved this place so much!

We want to come back!

We loved this happy home! The moment we entered the door, we felt right at home. Check in was easy! After visiting Kauai (our favorite island), we stayed a week on Maui, and my sweatshirt had been tucked in my suitcase and I smelled it and said “Oh it smells (good) like the Kauai home, I miss it already!” The washing machine was a huge plus, and the air conditioning! They had tons of beach toys and chairs! We loved the grill! Everything was clean, the beds were comfy and they had plenty of hangers to hang our clothes so we didn’t have to live out of a suitcase while visiting! The safe gave us extra peace of mind and it was within a couple of minutes walking distance to the beach. Thank you for everything! I can’t say enough good things about this home, it will forever be a core memory for our vacation! We loved playing uno and relaxing here between our adventures! The host binder/booklet was the most well thought out and sincere binder that I’ve ever seen at a rental property. 10/10! It was wonderful.

Yellow House

The house is cute and is well set up with supplies. It is an easy walk to the beach, which was very nice. The AC is only in the bedrooms (stated in the description) and it is very loud. The rest of the house gets pretty hot. If you are sensitive to heat this would be something to consider.

Short walk from beach and very comfortable house

We loved our stay here. It's only a few hundred meters from the beach, but down a very quiet residential road so you're out of the fray. The kitchen has what you need and the screened in porch is a great place to relax with fresh air out of the sun. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back.

Relaxing getaway

Our stay was perfect. Walking distance to one of the best snorkeling and swimming beaches on all of Kaua’i. Open kitchen area and adorable sunroom for afternoon naps.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

Myself, spouse and 2 teens had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach cottage. The cottage is well stocked with everything you could need including anything needed for a beach day(ie. wagon, chairs, water shoes, snorkel equipment, boogie boards) We loved the screened in porch and outdoor shower. 2 minute walk to the Poipu Beach, Brennecke;'s Beach, Puka Dog and Brennecke’s Beach Boiler and snack shop.

I'm originally from Ohio, live in Montana, and have two twenty-something boys. We love to travel, but we most enjoy settling into a spot and into its culture, instead of hopping from hotel to hotel. We visit my sister who lives on Kauai regularly, and when we found this beautiful Poipu plantation cottage, we couldn't resist.

We love the true Hawaiian feel of this wonderful cottage and it's in a PERFECT location to enjoy all Poipu has to offer. We want you to feel at home here as we do.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love the fact that this is a warm, comfortable home, without the commercial feel of hotels and condos. We love the great outdoor space at the cottage.....a sun porch for relaxing as well as a trellis-covered patio for dining, because after all, why do you visit Hawaii if not to be outdoors?
