Uppdateringarna är här! Vårt hem har nyligen uppdaterats! Vackra nya golv, nya uppdaterade sängkläder, nymålade och mycket mer! Vårt hem ligger på en privat väg, inbäddat i en tall- och eklund. Denna plats erbjuder både lugn och bekvämlighet till stan, stränder och attraktioner. Rakt över ingången till vår väg finns en ingång till öns cykelväg. Den asfalterade cykelvägen går hela statsskogen och är perfekt för den morgonlöpningen, lugn cykeltur eller en lugn kvällspromenad. Tennisbanor ligger precis vid vägen. Det stora däcket har ett picknickbord med plats för åtta, perfekt för uteservering! Det finns också bekväma solstolar för att slappa av. Den stora gården är perfekt för en omgång kickboll, volleyboll, vila i hängmattan eller bara fågelskådning. Huset har en öppen planlösning med katedraltak, nyare kök, tvättmaskin och torktumlare och en extra utomhusdusch. Nedervåningen har 1 badrum, 1 sovrum med en queen size-säng och 2 byråer och ett annat sovrum med en drottning futon och platt-TV. På övervåningen är ett 3: e sovrum med 3 enkelsängar perfekt för barn. Det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet har en 42 "platt-TV med DVD-spelare. WiFi ingår också i huset. Köket är fullt utrustat och har ett bord med plats för 6. Det finns en Weber kolgrill som också kan användas. 12 minuter från Vineyard Haven och färja. Flexibla arrangemang finns tillgängliga för att tillgodose tillgänglighet till färjan. Se upp för de vilda kalkonerna som strövar över ön. de är underbara att se. Var noga med att granska vår hyresbok (säger Marvel) med många förslag på ön och skriva dina kommentarer i vår hemjournal innan du åker!

Dated but decent. Furniture was very dated. All the faucets squirted water because they were not properly assembled. Old stale smell and spider webs throughout. Liked location and space

We had a wonderful two weeks. The house is cosy and inviting and is perfectly located. The yard was a plus-lots os space for my family. The house was better than advertised was spotless when we arrived and welcoming. Easy communication with agent addressed any issue immediately.

Gem of an affordable find during high season on island! Darla was very communicative & notified us ahead of our travel of an issue with the water pump and pressure. Rather than simply patch the issue quickly, Darla thoroughly repaired it. We really appreciated that Darla proposed options to us ahead of our arrival which ensured we would have access to water. We were outfitted with a temporary water dispenser that was only need for 1 day. The nautical-themed art and intricate map of the island in one of the bedrooms made it feel nice and beachy. The kitchen had a cushioned bench by a window ideal for reading. There were ample fans which we didn't need to use given the wonderful cross-breeze from the windows and patio. Appliances worked great & the bbq tools were a great convenience. I removed one overall star because of peeling in the bathtub that progressed just from water pressure. Once the tub is glazed, this likely won't be an issue.

Quaint & Comfy

The house was quaint. It was fully stocked with everything you needed. Spacious enough that we were not on top of each other. My parents enjoyed sitting outside in the morning drinking coffee and tea. Nice and private. There was a smell. I think it’s mildew. That was the only concern but we kept the A.C running, That kinda masked it. Other then that it was great.

Great stay in West Tisbury!

We had a fantastic stay at Darlas property in West Tisbury. The property has a gorgeous yard and is in a great location. Our kids loved the bedroom upstairs, and overall the house was great for our family of 4. The outdoor shower was great. This house everything you need, we would stay again.

The location of the house is convenient and there is a sweet farm stand next door for fresh goodies. Being able to get parking at lamberts cove is an extra perk!

Cozy and Charming!

My family has been visiting the Vineyard for the past 8 years and were lucky to book this home for 2022. It is affordable and nicely sized for a family of 3. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful, and the home has been well-maintained and was very clean. We'd definitely rent this home again.

Great location, everything you need for a Vineyard vacation.

We enjoyed our two week stay at the Blair house, the location is central to many great spots on the island. We especially enjoyed access to beautiful Lambert’s Cove beach. The outdoor shower was terrific!

Martha’s Vineyard family vacation

Darla was beyond helpful with making our family vacation everything we had hoped for. The home was charming, conveniently located and had everything our family needed for our stay. We enjoyed the great location of the bike/ walking trail directly across the street from the house. Loved the farmers market, great restaurants with vegan choices close by. Most of all, the open space in her home had plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed the beaches, cookout's and beautiful sunsets as well. It was a nice relaxing vacation, just what we needed! Excellent location and space!

We had a wonderful time at the Blair House. Excellent location. We fell in love with Lambert’s Cove and also spent time on opposite ends of the island, so this spot was perfect for us. Plenty of space for our family of four, and we really appreciated the outdoor space. Great value and Darla was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. Many thanks!

Wonderful Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Blair House. The house was cozy, very clean, and as described in the listing. All of the beds were exceptionally comfortable! The location was perfect, central for getting around the island, right across from a beautiful bike trail, and a short drive to Lambert's Cove Beach. Darla was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We hope to stay again!!

Close to everything

We spent a week here with our 4.5 year olds. It was a perfect size for a family of 5 and had family visit for the day. Outdoor shower is key. Location is quiet, private, with a nice yard and deck. They stock it with basic household items which was really nice. The furthest drive was less than 20 min and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle. Bike trail directly across from the house was awesome for bike rides, walks, runs and the school playground is less than a mile away (great spot!). We got a pass to Lamberts Cove Beach for the week ($50) and used it three times- so great. Cloudy week turned sunny and hotter left me feeling warm at night- especially for the kids upstairs. Fans helped, and the AC unit is good, but can’t cool the entire house. We moved from the downstairs bedroom to the room with the futon and slept there more comfortably (closer to AC). Really comfy mattress pad in the closet. In need of updating and some screen repairs. With the heat and screens torn, bugs could easily get in. But we had the best week!

Wonderful Summer Vacation Spot

This is a really well situated and pretty spot, and a lovely home for a family vacation. It was spacious for our family of 4 and yet cozy enough to keep us feeling "together" at the same time. It felt like a home away from home. My son asked to come back next year so I am hoping we will! Thank you to our hosts! :)

Perfect MV stay

The Blair house is a lovely little family home perfectly situated on MV. The location is excellent, beach access easy, and outdoor property so fun for a family vacation. Darla is reliable and helpful and the property was extremely clean.

This is our family home, loving built mostly by my father and mother. We have added upgrades throughout the years to keep it updated. Generation after generation has enjoyed many happy times going fishing, going to the beach, bike riding on the bike path and all of the activities that Martha's Vineyard has to offer. We especially love to have our steamers (clams) and lobsters out on the deck as a summertime ritual. And taking an outdoor shower is must for a true Vineyard experience. We take pride in our home and want to share a wonderful Vineyard experience with others. We are always open to suggestions on ways to improve your rental time in our home.
