Denna mysiga stuga har ett kök, bad och en rymlig sluten veranda med utsikt över sjön. Denna stuga byggdes på 1950-talet och visar varje bit av den vintage karaktären. Det är lite grovt runt kanterna men har charmen av dagar som gått. Ett knutigt furuinteriör skapar en uppehållande atmosfär i norra Norden

Stayed a couple of nights and everything was seamless. View from the cabin is spectacular. Paper towels in the kitchen would have been a nice addition.

Amazing experience

Booked last minute due to change of plans, owner was very responsive and even allowed early check in due to getting the site cleaned fast! Very friendly and easy communication. This was an amazing experience and stay.

The cabin was great. The location is amazing, as there are many day trips to be taken from this home base. Although it's a bit rustic, it provided everything that we needed for a great "up north" weekend. We will surely be back.

Great as a home base!

I wouldn’t book this property as a vacation it’s self but if you wanted somewhere simple for just sleep it’s good. I was a little put off about how many items were sitting out front of the property, it was a ton of random things in the front yard. A little sore on the eyes. We also wish the shoreline of the lake was more cleaned up & ready to enjoy but it was early in the tourist season.

Nice little stay

Such a good place with just walks to lake from backyard. Could have designed the bathroom little bigger and got one more restroom. Apart from that everything is good for the little stay.

Comfortable and rustic

Rustic cabin was perfect for a getaway with my husband and sister-in-law. Close to Makinac City with easy access to the island ferries. The cabin could use some additional updates but was fine as is.

Peaceful Stay on Carp Lake

The cabin was very nice with all we needed. It was so wonderful being steps away from Carp Lake, so peaceful. Richie was very responsive and helpful. Having access to kayaks and paddle boards was fun. I would recommend this place.

Very rustic but beautiful!

This cabin was exactly as expected. It was rustic with a beautiful lake view and a wonderful screen room to enjoy the scenery! Richie, the owner, was very attentive with a couple issues we had and all in all if was a wonderful retreat!

Rough around the edges but extremely pleasant.

The owner is awesome! The property is in the process of being fixed up. Beautiful views and definite charm. If you like rustic glamping this is the place for you. Pet friendly too!!!!!

Cool little cabin on beautiful quiet lake

We loved our stay in this cabin that had everything we needed. Rich is really genuine and friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. Our cabin was right on the water and we enjoyed grilling s'mores and hot dogs. Our kids loved wading in the shallow water on the jetty at our cabin. I highly recommend this place.

We came up for an ice fishing trip, and this rustic little cabin was more than we needed. It was perfect in every way. The gas woodstove kept the entire cabin warm and the lake is quite literally 6 feet out the back door. 10 minutes from the Mackinaw Bridge. Perfect, just a perfect little place. The owner was kind enough to greet us the day we arrived and even came out to chat as we were packing up 4 days later. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic and cozy!

We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It was small but didn’t feel cramped. There was even reliable internet access, strong enough to stream movies on the provided smart TV.A couple things to consider. The floor is a concrete slab and was cold. Be prepared to keep your socks on or bring slippers. The place is also a bit remote. Mackinaw city is about 10 minutes away but, other than that, there’s not much. Make sure you bring anything you need. Everything was great and we enjoyed every moment.We’ll definitely be back.

A unique name of unknown origin. This 2 bedroom, 528 sq ft cabin is a wonderful size for a family to spend a relaxing vacation, camping along the shore of a beautiful 1900 acre lake in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan.
