Denna mysiga stuga Àr den perfekta familjen att komma undan. Köket Àr vÀlutrustat och sÀngklÀder och handdukar tillhandahÄlls. Hemmet har 5 sovrum och 1 badrum. Det finns en queen size-sÀng och privat balkong pÄ övervÄningen master och en queen size-sÀng strax utanför vardagsrummet i bottenvÄningen. Det finns en eldstad i vardagsrummet för kyliga kvÀllar, en platt-TV med en DVD-spelare, det finns ocksÄ mÄnga spel, böcker och kort för din njutning. Den har en stor gÄrd med mycket utrymme för smÄ att spela. Se upp ur din slutna veranda med ett glas vin eller en kopp kaffe och titta pÄ fÀrjorna blanda mÀnniskorna till Mackinac Island. Det finns en offentlig bÄtlansering som vÀntar pÄ din bÄt 300 meter bort. Stugan ligger pÄ ett perfekt lÀge för tillgÄng till alla intressanta punkter i U. P. Bara nÄgra kvarter I-75 eller US-2 och bara en mil frÄn Mackinac Bridge. Du kan enkelt göra dagsturer till Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Bild Rocks eller Sault Ste. Marie, men glöm inte allt som hÀnder i St. Ignace sjÀlv. Fyrverkerier varje lördag (under sÀsong), filmer i parken, musik pÄ viken, vinprovning i stan och sÄ mycket mer.

The house is very old and crooked. The cleanliness was good. Towels were good. Sheets on one bed would not stay on and need to be replaced. Lots of semi trucks going by at 4 a.m. The roof on the sun room was leaking with the rain. The couches in the living room need to be replaced. You have to sit on pillows or you sink almost to the floor.

Do not overlook this gem! The house has character and wears its age well. The location is great: quiet, walking distance to a park with unobstructed views of Mackinac Island and Mackinac Bridge, close to a grocery store, and a 3 min drive to downtown St Ignace. 5 bedrooms means plenty of room with 2 bedrooms on the first floor. All the kitchen essentials and a full size washer and dryer for after your waterfall hikes and beach days. An upstairs balcony deck or a screened in front porch are great for enjoying morning coffee or settling down in the evening. You will not be disappointed!

Car show weekend

Came from WI for the car show. Cabin was located by the water. Cabin leaked water when it rained and smelled musty and moldy. The whole house was unlevel.

As others have mentioned the property is rough. While you can see the water from the upper balcony they fail to tell you the home is across from some kind of commercial shipping yard where semis are coming through during the night. The yard is not at all private. The firepit is in the side yard sitting at an intersection. There is not enough seating indoors or out for the number of people they say the home can fit. Im thankful we had chosen ahead of time to eat out throughout the weekend. The kitchen would not have been fun to cook in. Anything I used out of the cupboard I washed prior to using. The house was overall clean as was the bedding. However, it’s an old cottage 
 These are just some things I wish I had understood before booking.

Quaint Cottage with a BEAUTIFUL View

This property is lovely. It has all of the old charm of a country cottage and the most amazing location. It is very close to downtown St. Ignace and the ferry docks. The view from the upstairs patio was amazing.

Home is comfortable and very clean. Kitchen is nicely stocked, appliances all in good working order. Conveniently located close to grocery store and restaurants. Owner friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Lori & I have been coming up to St. Ignace for twenty two years. Being professional photographers we loved the scenery and fell in love with the people. After ten years of looking for our own little piece of heaven we stumbled upon The Love Shack.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The location of the love shack is perfect. When we bought the home it had been vacant for many years. Noone saw what we saw. We have redone almost everything but as we all know the work of an older home keeps us jumping. It is close to town and all the happenings. The views are wonderful and with 4 children in our family the playground is right down the street.
