Beach Basket -

Beach Basket is a stunning two-story vacation rental with six full bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms have King sized beds and full baths attached. The other two Guest Rooms both have a pair of twin bunk beds -perfect for the little ones and access to their own individual full bathrooms. The four king Suites sport a distinct upscale style and all have updated electronics! Two of these rooms are conveniently located on the first level of the home while the other two are on the second level along with the Bunk Rooms.

Enjoy balconies that span the entire width of both the front and back of the house with direct access from some of the bedrooms. The back balcony looks down over you private lagoon pool, the pool deck provides ample space for relaxing and lounging. There is a gas grill out back for those summertime cookouts! The athletes in the family will be delighted to be greeted by a private basketball court at the home! With all the amenities at the home you may forget why you came to Destin in the first place - the beautiful beach is just minutes away where you will enjoy luxuriating in the emerald green waters of the gulf.

The second level of the property has a large Family Room with a flat screen HDTV and and a brand new state of the art home theater system complete with a projector for the big ball game or movie night! The open main living area is on the first level has a blue couch and matching love seat facing a flat screen TV. Two decorative armchairs and a vibrant oil painting provide rich accents. Ten modern sculpted chairs provide wonderful seating beside a glass-topped dining table. The open modern kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances, which includes a refrigerator with convenient French Cupboard styling. Four bar stools create a chic striking contrast against ebony black-sided entertainment island with a rich granite countertop.

First Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Patio Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower, King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Powder Room, Laundry.

Christmas Beach Stay

The Beach Basket property was really nice & roomy. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out & have their own space. The basketball court & movie theater room provided lots of entertainment for the kids. The pool was nice but the weather a bit too cool for us to swim much. There were a few things I felt that the property could have had on hand, such as pot holders for getting pans out of the oven, kitchen dish rags & batteries for the remotes. Although the Ocean Reef staff was great to bring us some batteries & trouble shoot the projector screen after we arrived. The location of the property was only a few blocks to the beach, which was really nice! Overall, a great Christmas vacation!

Great stay. This is a winner.

House was situated perfectly. Just a short walk to the beach. Everyone in our group had their own space because, of the size of the house, each room had it's own bathroom. The deciding factor for us was the pool, the outside space was big enough for everyone to have enough room to play and swim. Loved the theater room to relax with a movie after long day at the beach or shopping. Will definitely book again when I am in the area.

Nice property with plenty of bathrooms

Decided to stay here with family for our last summer vacation before school. We absolutely enjoyed this place. Beautiful property with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms which was a plus!! Also had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Only thing that sucked was that 1 of the basketball goals was broken. Also, many of the tv remotes were missing backs and batteries. Pool was also dirty when we arrived but pool guy came by with no problem. Overall, place was awesome. Highly recommend.

Great property

This property was clean, cozy, and comfortable, it was very spacious for everyone to have their on area. Only downside is that they really need to switch out the jean couch for a new one, that couch has to go. Overall everyone in my family truly enjoyed their stay and we will definitely stay there again. Plus it was a close walk to the beach.

Basketball Trip

Team loved the outdoor court, heated pool, movie room---great set-up. Would recommend for a large group. Very convenient to food, entertainment, etc..

Annual Family Vacation

We had additional requests to join us and had to find something for everyone. This house did not disappoint. Interior provided great space, plus the movie room was great. my favorite area was the pool, nice seating and good size pool.

Over great place. Clean and open. Good response from owner. Minor inconveniences include only 2 teaspoons for our party of 17 and only 3 coffee mugs and no cookie sheets. We would stay there again.

Our Best Vacation Yet

The home was exactly as described. We had a short walk to the beach which was perfect! We had more than enough room for our group of 13! Ocean Reef was easy to work with, and super accommodating. One thing i will say, bring extra silverware with you! That is our single complaint. With that said, we are already discussing booking this property next year!

Awesome!!!

The stay was fantastic! The house is big enough for everyone. We were 12 guests! and everyone had an amazing time. I only wished we could've stayed longer! The house is so spacious and the private pool is amazing! There is also a basketball court! I totally recommend this house for big families! I liked that if I had a concern, the people in charge of the property were quick at responding with solutions!

Great time at Beach Basket

We came to Destin with another family and had a great time at the Beach basket. Four adults and four teenage boys. Loved the pool and basketball court. The boys each had a room to themselves upstairs and loved the XBox and huge projector screen. We loved the heated pool! The only drawbacks were that we never could get the dishwasher to work. The lawn furniture was rusting out and one chair was broken along with the table umbrella. What a great deal, location and house! It was perfect for our group.

This house was great for our extended family of 13.

We had 4 kids who were age 5 and under, so the convenience of the pool was important. We also needed bathtubs for the little ones, especially the 3 who were 2 years old and under. There are 2 bathtubs. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked, for example with a cutting board and crockpot, but otherwise had everything we needed. Plenty of dishes, glasses, including wine glasses, and lots of silverware and steak knives. Good selection of pots & pans. Even though it was a short drive, we loved Henderson Beach State Park for the beach. Beautiful and not crowded. Thank you - it was a great week!

Okay but lacking

We stayed here for 4th of July week. The house is nice and comfortable for 18 people. However, the pool is fairly small and as a result gets to be over 90 degrees which is incredibly hot for swimming. The internet quality is awful regardless of how few people are on it. They left two trash bags, two dish pods, and one roll of toilet paper (per bathroom) for an entire week. You have to BUY everything! They provide only towels, dishes and a few cooking utensils. No baking sheet. Overall, for 6K for one week there are basics that should be covered. Won't return to this location.

Floors were so dirty our feet were black, previous renters had put holes in the walls and the repairs were not complete-not painted and dry wall all over the floor when we arrived. Stairs are carpeted and filthy, even had dried blood on them. Pool was dirty, had not been cleaned and there was green algae on the sides. Cigarette butts and trash all over back patio area and in landscaping. Outside furniture was dirty, tables had not been cleaned off all winter it looked like. House smells badly. We stay in Crystal Beech at least twice a year and have never had this kind of experience.

Great for a larger group!

We stayed at Beach Basket with multiple families for our Spring Break and had a great time. The positives - the backyard is at the top of the list - huge pool, patio, tons of space and a basketball court. Was so awesome to have and we lived out there when not at the beach. - lots of space inside with each room having a bathroom - lower floor (kitchen family room) was spacious too - decks on both side - upstairs movie room was fun for kids to have as their space too - location - 3-4 minute walk to the beach and close to shopping (Whole Foods, Publix, etc..) A few negatives: - Needs some updates (worn-out carpet, baseboards chipping, paint refresh) - you can tell it's a spot for larger groups and gets a lot of wear and tear. With a group of teens with us, it didn't bother us but if you are looking for super fancy or luxury, this isn't it. - Supplies like silverware - there wasn't enough forks, spoons and knives for what the house sleeps which seems odd. Also could use a few basics - broom, more kitchen towels. We had to go buy those. We knew we had to supply things like soap, etc.. but silverware and other household items should be there. It's a great spot for a larger group looking to be close to the beach and have fun all together. We'd rent it again!

Great property for large family gathering

We had my husband and I, my parents our oldest son, wife their 2 kids, and our daughter and her husband. It was perfect for our family as everyone had their own bathroom with King bedroom and the kids had a bunk room (we had an extra bunk room). The pool and basketball court were awesome for backyard fun. The property needs cleaning up (dead leaves all around that kept blowing in the pool). Nice outdoor seating. We spent a lot of time in the backyard. There is an outdoor shower to rinse sand off toys, feet etc. The kitchen is nice but, not well equipped. (No toaster) I would suggest bringing your own knife for cutting veggies etc. (We ate at the house a lot because of our large group and the restaurants were slammed with so many people in Destin). There is a regular coffee pot and a Kuerig which work great! There is a large theatre room area on the landing upstairs that is very nice. There are a lot of remotes so thankfully our kids figured it out for the grandkids. There are TVs in all rooms but, not all have cable boxes and there are wires everywhere. We did rent a golf cart to shuttle my parents, kids and stuff to the beach. There’s not a lot of parking at the beach entrance. All in all this is a great house for multiple couples and kids. We have been vacationing in this area for 22+ years and love it.
