Perfect Cottage

Great 3 night stay in a sweet cottage. Nicely decorated, wonderful bed and great back yard with TV and Fireplace. Amy our host was very attentive and a real pleasure to deal wit. We had a great time.

What an amazing place to stay if you are visiting Silver City New Mexico. Great location, walking distance to downtown and amazing hosts. I would recommend this property if you decide to visit this quaint little town. It won’t disappoint. Check it out!!

Exceptional experience

5 plus stars! Property is conveniently located, within walking distance of groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, university, museum & the unique downtown. The unit was perfect.. clean, comfortable, modern & stocked with anything you could possibly need. Amy is the perfect host, attentive & easy to reach. Bennet place was amazing!

My boyfriend and I traveled across the country to NM and the Bennet place was so welcoming and homey. Amy was such an amazing host and was always near by if we needed her, while giving us equal privacy. We would recommend this place time and time again!

Relaxation

It was perfect. Very comfortable, attractive and great location close to downtown. Amy is a generous and creative host. We will definitely come back. Also there were beautiful poppies that welcomed us at each return.

Felt like home

This was a wonderful location to the cutest downtown area of Silver City. Amy was an excellent host from afar and gave us some great suggestions to eat and drink! Everything in the house was perfect and just enough. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the amenities of the house and patio! It was hard to leave after 3 days! We would totally stay here again!

Really nice, comfortable place!

This was a great place to stay and we would like to come back in the summer. It was tastefully and comfortably furnished (bed, armchair) and even has some nice artwork. We had everything we needed. Internet was good and it was quiet. Communication with Amy was great. The only suggestion I would make is to put in a handrail for the steps up to the door. It was cold and icy while we were there and that would have helped. Otherwise this is probably the nicest home stay place we have stayed and there have been a lot!

Quiet, pleasant, delightful!

A cozy retreat on a large secluded property shared with two other rentals all owned and managed by Amy. We particularly marveled at all the ‘nice touch’ details provided by Amy inside our newly renovated unit. Lots of reading material, ample shower towels, a kitchen well supplied with utensils, pots & pans for preparing your own meals, interesting southwestern wall art. Out back was a covered shelter with fireplace, ample wood, a large gas grill and a widescreen television! Also a small ‘shed’ with washer & dryer and another fireplace. Amy was available and responsive to our needs. We would definitely return next time we decide to visit Silver City!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. The accommodation was clean, well equipped and everything worked. We found the furniture comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. This was part of a longer trip and we really appreciated the access to a washer and dryer during our week stay. We enjoyed the shared outdoor pavilion on the warm afternoons watching the hummingbirds come to feed. In the evenings, the mule deer came to drink at the tubs Amy thoughtfully provided. We also enjoyed all the plants and flowers on the property. We were a bit uncomfortable coming into the neighborhood as it was older with properties in mixed states of upkeep. However we had no problem and felt safe walking the couple blocks into town. Now for the best. Amy was a wonderful, accommodating, friendly, thoughtful, and gracious host. Would happily stay at one of her properties again.

Perfect place to stay for our hiking.

We came to silver city to hike the Gila mountains, thus we were only home to sleep, pack our backpacks, and watch the big game on Saturday. The house was perfect. Private drive, new bathroom, tons of hot water, firm mattress with comfy sheets, big fridge, good cable tv. My only little point of reality is when you start driving into the neighborhood, the area looks run down. BUT once you get to the house which is at the end of a street and isolated, you feel safe. Plus Amy has done a great job keeping up her group of properties. We will definitely stay here again when we return to hike in the spring.

Outstanding Rental with Fabulous Patio & Grounds

La Casa Bennett is exceptionally clean and creatively decorated with comfortable furnishings and an extremely well provisioned kitchen! We've stayed in many rentals, and the hospitality and friendliness of Amy and husband Larry are top of the line. Both are quality individuals, creative hard workers who have made a botanical paradise yard with a covered patio with music, tv, grill, fireplace, table & chairs and comfy furnishings with plans for even more amenities! A buck and two doe jumped their fence into the yard briefly as their two dogs were away, and there are lots of birds and wildlife as the "Big Ditch" creek runs behind their property. La Casa Bennett was the highlight of our Silver City trip, one of many for us. The rental unit and outdoor patio are terrific, not to be missed!

awesome patio

clean and comfortable place within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the covered back patio with a TV, radio, comfy furniture, gas heater, and wood burning fireplace. Highly recommend.
