Great Stay!

Cy was a fantastic host, very easy to get in touch with and helpful. He offered great recommendations for restaurants in Memphis. The house was well stocked and very comfortable! The only thing I would say is that there is a very busy street that the house sits next and it can be a touch noisy. If that is something you are sensitive to, it may not be the right fit. We had a great stay!

Amazing!

We stay at Vrbos a couple of times a year and this property was the BEST we've ever used. It was exactly as described, but better. Communication with the owner was quick and they gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The house was well-stocked and we wanted for nothing. Just an absolute treat all around. We couldn't have been happier.

Spring Break at Graceland

We arrived very late into Memphis and GPS was slightly incorrect. Cy had sent step by step directions and photos as backup options to Google Maps. However the Google Maps worked correctly every time after that.. The house inside is charming and gave us room to spread out. This house is on a very busy street and the front bedroom was very noisy the first night - I turned up my travel fan and sleep app the next 2 nights and slept better.We were given good recommendations for food options and enjoyed the stay. Check out was a breeze. Cy was a helpful host.

Great Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect - very clean and cozy with plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was conveniently located and Cy was great with communication. There were some heating issues, but he worked with us and went the extra mile to resolve problems. Overall, it’s a lovely place and we will most likely book it again the next time we visit Memphis!

Comfortable and beautifully decorated home near Downtown.

I came with two other companions during the International Blues Challenge in early January. Cy was easy to reach and took care of a few issues with the alarm and thermostat (housemates not following instructions on the two important tech items in the house) quickly. It was located near the hospital, about two miles off of Beale street, where the event was held. For a price comparative to a single hotel room we had three bedrooms in a home for a week, fantastic value.

Clean and Comfortable Home

Lovely, well-appointed, and clean home. Very convenient to downtown and various Memphis attractions. Very easy check-in and check-out. Plenty of room for our family. My only note is that the house faces a busy street. So you do hear some street noise in the front of the house. If you require quiet sleeping, use the back bedroom.

Close to Children's Hospital

We enjoyed our stay, it was just as listed and the host made everything seamless. We will stay here again. Had a little trouble finding it in the dark but host gave additional directions that helped. She even accommodated a late check out which we were grateful for.

Lovely place to stay.

It’s convenient within a few blocks from St Jude and about 1 mile to one and a half miles from downtown. It has a well equipped kitchen, televisions, a washer and dryer and a very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed it and glad we chose this house for our trip.

Memphis trip

The cottage was a perfect size and location for our trip. We had an issue with the hall toilet running over and needing to be plunged several times. Both bathrooms need a good scrubbing especially the drains.

Near Memphis Must-Do’s

Traveling with friends on a Midwest road trip & stayed in Memphis for 3 nights. This little Victorian cottage is a short drive to downtown, Beale St. & Graceland. Well stocked kitchen which we appreciated as we cooked all breakfasts & two dinners. The host is very communicative & responds quickly.

We met in the middle w friends we met on a cruise. The home was perfect. Very clean, had everything we could possible need/ want. Great location and parking. Would defiystzy again.

Dont be fooled

The Neigborhood is terrible!! And I mean so terrible we decided not to stay and lost the money we paid for the house. Even though we discussed a partial refund! We had to get a hotel and spend more money. Pictures were sent to the VRBO help desk. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY to think about. Not a safe place. homeless on the corners and some not so savory characters hanging around , house was not cleaned up to standard

Elvis Fan Trip

Enjoyed our stay at Old Thomas Street. Home was clean and nicely appointed. Owner was very prompt to respond to our requests. I recommend driving to your destination instead of walking. The neighborhood is transitional; we kept the doors locked and alarm set at night.
