Great Family House

Walkable to the beach, plenty of room to run around, and great patio for dinners. Second stay here, would recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Boat House; fantastic location near Nobadeer and Surfside beaches made for great walks. The host was very communicative and responsive. This was an upside-down house with bedrooms on the first floor and the main attractive and comfortable living area on the second floor. There was a lovely deck off the second floor living space. We were 3 couples and the two areas for sleeping were a twin bedroom and a bunk room that shared a nice bath with tub; the second was a queen bed and a full size bed that shared a very nice walk in shower bath. We wished there was a wall to separate the queen room from the full size bedroom- it is described as a private room which it is but you need to walk outside to another door to access the upstairs- which we didn't quite understand so that's on us; ideally this would be a great rental for either two couples or two couples with children that could have their separate areas. The outside shower was also great. The kitchen was good and there was a nice outdoor gas grill.

Great beach location and house

This is a great location, just a short walk to a great beach. The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us, it was spotless, and the owner (Jim) immediately responded to any questions we had and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for the house and beach. .

Wonderful stay near Surfside

Our family had a wonderful week at the Boat House. The home is even more lovely in person, with comfortable furniture and new linens. We loved the privacy of the property and being able to hear the waves from the deck. We would love to return in future years.

Great week!

This was the perfect house for 4x adults and a little baby - we were pleasantly surprised by how private the area/home was and how clean it was! Our family has a home down the street that we've recently outgrown and this proved to be the perfect overflow house for us for the week. Was a fantastic and easy stay and we'd love to stay again!

The pictures do not do this home justice, it is even more gorgeous in person. It is very well-appointed - including the bed linens and towels. Short walk to the beach, which was never crowded and we went first week August . . . having the tote bags, a couple beach chairs & the large beach towels was very much appreciated as we went to the beach every day. The furniture in the family room was very comfortable . . . nice large dining table inside . . . elegant seaside decor . . bedrooms were lovely as well. We rented bikes and had them delivered to the house which worked out great. Kitchen was especially well equipped and we had many great meals there, and the gas grill was used almost every day! We loved having our morning coffee and evening glass of wine on the deck. We wanted to share the special beauty of Nantucket with our 3 grown children who had never been there, and the week we spent in your home was a very memorable vacation for our entire family. Our compliments to Jim the owner on having such a wonderful home. We highly recommend this home and would return.

Weather didn’t cooperate.A bit awkward in and out of back bedrooms and the kitchen was tiny. Walk to beach was a plus and being near my daughter.

Our stay at the Boat House

We LOVED our stay at the Boat House! The property exceeded our expectations in every respect. Our family of 4 had more than enough room to spread out. I think the property was advertised as 3 bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms, but it is really 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The house was fully equipped, clean and ready right on time for checking in. Jim was a very helpful host, ready to assist with any of our questions and even gave us some great recommendations for restaurants! Thank you Jim!

Nantucket family vacation

We spent 10 days for our annual beginning of summer Nantucket vacation and cannot say enough great things about this amazing vacation home. The house and property are immaculate and well stocked. The downstairs bedroom and dual bathroom set up is perfect for a family. The upstairs kitchen and living are well stocked with up-to-date appliances and household items. The balcony and outside yard are also beautifully decorated and the availability of beach chairs and towels is an added plus. The property is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to the beach with easy access to downtown. Our host, Jimmy, was extremely accommodating and easy to reach. Thank you, Jimmy, for an amazing week. We will definitely be returning!

Late season beach week

Had a relaxing week with son and his girlfriend. Great location for privacy. Beach and town easily accessible via bike. Plan to return, maybe for an extended stay next time.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful week! The house is very clean, felt very new and was decorated very nicely. The yard was a good size and the outdoor furniture and the deck were lovely. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach that was not at all crowded and another ten minutes beyond that beach is Surfside where you can get food at the taco truck or beach stand. Town is about a 15 minute car ride away. We had a lovely time!

The perfect vaction!

Totally enjoyed our stay in The Boat House. The house was clean, well maintained and came with everything that was advertised. The owner of the house was very easy to work with and responded quickly to all our questions. My family was so happy with the accommodations that we have already booked for next summer!!

A special Place

My wife and I immensely enjoyed our two week stay at your lovely home. Such a quiet location with very quick beach and town access was ideal. The home was spotless, well appointed and had a contemporary feel- not some dated beach house. We look forward to our next visit !

Surfside Boat House

We had a wonderful stay at the Boat House in September. Don't let the name "Boat House" put you off. This is a comfortable, beautifully furnished home with lots of light and not a tsoshke in sight. We especially enjoyed spending time on the upstairs deck. One night we were lucky enough to get a perfect view of the Milky Way. We look forward to returning. Margie & Paul Goldberg.
