Kort 1 mil promenad till närmaste strand (Dunes beach). Fullt möblerad stuga i New England-stil. Vardagsrum med 2 soffor i full storlek och en stor stol. Stort äter i köket med stora bordsstolar 6 bekvämt. Utomhusbord 8 bekvämt. Sovrum 1 har en king size-säng, sovrum 2 har en queen size-säng, sovrum 3 har 2 enkelsängar, sovrum 4 har 2 enkelsängar. En queen size-sprängmadrass tillhandahålls. Kanallös split (Mitsubishi) ger både luftkonditionering och värme. Huset har också avskärdat värmeoljevärme och strålningsvärme i golven. Lakan, täcken, kuddar och gott om handdukar finns. 2 badrum i full storlek. Ett badrum har en extra djup och extra lång badkar. Stor tvättmaskin och torktumlare på 1: a våningen. 50-tums HDTV-platt-TV med Verizon-kabel-TV-kanaler, Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps Internet, mikrovågsugn, spishäll i glas, kylskåp i full storlek. Keurig kaffebryggare, matvaror. Krukor och kokkärl tillhandahålls. Utomhus eldstad och eldstad tillhandahålls. Mycket stor gård med utomhusbord och paraply, bra för utomhusgrill (kolgrill medföljer). Huset har plattor och trägolv i hela. Tyst grannskap. Kolla in Westerly och besöka Gray Sail Brewery, 2 bokhandlare, antikaffärer och många butiker. Närmaste offentliga golfbana är Winnapaug Country Club 1 mil bort. 10 minuter från Watch Hill, 40 minuter från Historic Newport, RI. Vårt strandpass är till Wuskenau-stranden som ligger 3 km bort. Wuskenqau-stranden ligger precis intill Misquamicut State Beach. Det finns en stor lekplats / tennisbana för den efter middagen timme med kul bara upp på gatan i Rotary Park, eller köra till Watch Hill för en glass- och karuselltur för barnen - eller Ocean House för vuxna. Den här egenskapen är central för stränderna, shopping, barnvänlig och familjevänlig. Foxwoods Resort casino ligger 35 minuter bort. Mohegun Sun-kasinot ligger 50 minuter bort. Njut av middagar i de många restaurangerna vid vattnet i vårt område. Ingen deposition krävs. Det finns en Super Walmart 5 minuter bort. The beds were comfortable, sofas were not. The oven didn’t work right and one of the entry doors had problems with the lock. Extremely hard to find patio light switch. One of the guest towels had stains and table runner in living room had holes in it. The inside staircase was very steep and narrow with small steps. On the upside, very close to golf courses and beach.

Great location with a perfect floorplan on the main level which was great for our older dog. Great and prompt communication with the owners. Definitely will stay again.

Perfect vacation with family

Perfect location to everything. The weather wasn’t the best but the beach was so close,, we did go. The house was big enough where we were all very comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. Also, a nice big yard for the grandkids to play in.

As described. But discovered the cleaner’s laundry from the previous guests in the dryer upon arrival. All good otherwise. Ocean is about a mile, and is worth it. Thanks!

Pleasant

Overall it was a pleasant experience however, we were traveling with a crawling infant, and my sons feet were black not even 5 minutes after crawling on the floor. We were also traveling with an elder and the stairs going upstairs are extremely steep and dangerous which was not accommodating. The couches were dirty, worn down, and need to be replaced or at least be covered with clean protectors. After we stripped the beds at the end of our stay, the pillows were stained and dirty. It would be nice if they were replaced with clean pillows and protected by waterproof covers. The beach was only 5 minutes down the road which was very convenient! We enjoyed our stay but the house needs more TLC.

Beautiful house in excellent area great hosts and property

This is my second time in this house and this property and these hosts are my favorite. The place is immaculately clean spacious and comfortable. The furnishings are really nice but you still feel like you’re in a home not a hotel which is awesome. The Wi-Fi is excellent for work or play. The house has great amenities and the hosts are available if you need anything. It’s a super easy check in and stay everything you could think of is here including really nice linens and towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds are super comfortable as are the couches and the TV is really nice over the fireplace. My dog loves it here too. I love walking to the nature sanctuary and the beach here. I’m looking forward to coming back again and again. I can’t wait to check it out in the summer the beach is absolutely stunning too.

Two night get away with family during April vacatiom

My husband and I were very pleased during our stay in this spacious, clean, welcoming home. The only negative aspect is that the two bedrooms and bathroom located on the 2nd floor had no heat. My husband and I were looking forward to having some alone time and privacy, resorting to the basement at night however, we had to move to a bedroom on the main floor because it was so cold downstairs. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable. Huge yard which was nice for the kids. We would have liked to use the fire pit but there was no wood provided.

Cleanliness definitely an issue

The location of the home was really nice. Some concerns/issues: ants crawling all over the downstairs bathroom ceiling and in one of the bedrooms as well. Caked on dishes in dishwasher and in the cabinet? Ant traps in the beds? A real turnoff as far as cleanliness but we are certainly not neat freaks so wasn’t a dealbreaker.

Great family vacation

My husband and I had our 3 adult children with their spouse/significant others and 2 grandkids (10). It was a special time for us to spend together. Great location for beach, kayaking and biking. The beach pass made parking easy. The home is built into a hill so you can enter via either lower or upper level. Two bedrooms and a full bath plus kitchen and living room are on the upper level and 2 BR and bath on the lower level. The kitchen was fully open to the living room which we liked. The stairs are very steep so us older folks used the upper level front door. The front lawn is level enough for games such as corn hole or badminton. The bathrooms were nice and the home generally well maintained. There is AC though the upstairs bedrooms can get a bit warm when you close the door at night - you may want to bring a fan if it's mid summer and you like to sleep cooler. Would stay here again.

July 4th stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. We have rented houses at several RI properties throughout the years. Great location and short distance to things we wanted to do and the beach was great with the free parking pass. We didn't realize the main floor was going to be up a very steep stair which was an issue due to half of our party having knee and leg issues and older persons. When we checked in the house it had a quick cursory clean of floors and surfaces, however the walls in most areas had not been washed with hand prints or food, dirt on them. Cobwebs in corners, dust on ceiling unused areas and a load left in the dryer. When I went to fold them and place them away the cuboard I found most items were tossed in the cuboard balled up and several items were still damp. Should have a deeper clean and for the money charged for cleaning. These are minor concerns so overall decent property.

Great location

The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. Some of the photos were outdated and don't show the current condition (severe wear on couches, damage on shelf in upstairs bathroom).There were a few things I didn't see in the description that I would've found helpful so I'm leaving these for anyone thinking about staying here. The "front" door to the house is perpendicular to the road and there is a u-shaped driveway that goes around the house. The photos show a small brown house that looks like it's next to you, but the house is behind you and there are other driveways on either side of the u-shaped driveway. We stayed in March and it was very quiet, but I imagine this could get busy and loud in the summer. Overall everything was very comfortable, but we did see and clean up a lot of dust bunnies, spider webs, crumbs, etc. and replaced multiple light bulbs when we were there. The house is generally taken care of but I think a few upgrades and some more cleaning would make a big difference.

I only have one negative remark. It was the cleanliness. I don't believe the house was cleaned very well at all. Very Sandy dirty floors webs other than that. It was a absolutely wonderful week. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay on your property.

Family friendly

Nice property in a good location. We enjoyed our long walks each morning and having our dog with us. There are a few areas that would enhance the guest experience. The downstairs door has a very complicated lock which was frustrating. I would have preferred better towels and the cleaning service should pay more attention to swiping/vacuuming the floors before new guests arrive.

Great location. Good response time from landlord after making a request for new comforters for two beds. Outside patio was lovely.Concerns: The biggest problem were the narrow, steep steps up to the main living area. It proved to be very difficult for the majority of us who are in their 70’s. It should be noted in the listing for those who may be disabled or elderly.The oven didn’t work. Overall, the rental needs some upgrades, especially the living room furniture. Floors were not clean either.

Stayed with family, kids and dogs

Location was great, near the beach and highway. We stayed the weekend and went to Mystic Aquarium. There are 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs with the kitchen and living room and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The stairs are very steep and were hard for my in-laws to navigate. There are weren't any paper towels or napkins supplied so be sure to pack those. Hosts were reachable through VRBO.
