"Tidepools" ligger på den högsta östra punkten mellan det berömda Cape Neddick Light (Nubble) och Cliff House Resort, med utsikt över Atlanten på en tunnland privat mark. Med mer än 200 fot av din egen privata, klippiga havstillträde och kustlinje kanske du aldrig vill lämna!

Bekvämt beläget i York, Maine minuter från det berömda Cliff House Resort, Nubble Light och byarna Ogunquit och Perkins Cove. Den bakre gräsmattan smälter in i de robusta omgivningarna. Vandringsleder till vattnet där magin i tidvattenpooler, bad, kajakpaddling, fiske och snorkling väntar. Navet för familjens kul - från gryningen till sent på natten - är den öppna familjen och vardagsrummet. Det finns också ett separat vardagsrum med TV. Huset har fantastisk havsutsikt från nästan alla rum i huset. Det fullt utrustade nya köket väntar på dig. Huset har 4 sovrum, varav 3 har havsutsikt och sover 10 bekvämt. Alla rum är utrustade med kvalitetslinne och handdukar för din bekvämlighet. 2 ½ bad, en fantastisk utomhusdusch, främre och bakre däck, stor trädgård, BBQ Grill etc.

Tidepools ligger i en avskild miljö på en privat väg, tre mil från några av de bästa surfing, stränderna och andra fantastiska aktiviteter i området. Portsmouth, New Hampshire ligger 15 minuter söderut. Portland, Maine ligger 45 minuter norr och Boston och Manchester, NH är mindre än 90 minuters bilresa bort.

Tidepools är både helt privat och fredlig. Det är en 5-minuters bilresa till Cliff House Resort & Spa, och bara en minut till golfbanan Cape Neddick Country Club. Du är bara några minuter från några av de finaste restaurangerna och shoppingen på kusten i New England. Mindre än 90 minuter från Boston, en timme från Manchester och 45 minuter från Portland, är Tidepools helt tillgängligt!

Absolutely breathtaking!

It would take me 2 weeks to accurately describe this property it’s that incredible! The views were absolutely breathtaking & even better in person. We were nervous of not having AC in June coming from South Florida - but it was no problem at all with all the windows cracked. We had perfect weather & temperature in the house our entire trip! The house was beyond clean, organized & clearly well cared for. Having a washer/dryer was so amazing with 2 small children. Jim (property owner) was incredible to deal with. Not only was he attentive at anytime I had questions, he made sure we had grocery store locations & good places to go while visiting. If we ever visit Maine again - We will definitely stay here. There are no hotels that can give you this experience. We didn’t want to leave! So happy we booked this home - what an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend.

Slice of heaven

TidePools was exactly as advertised: gorgeous location, not fancy but beautifully renovated, open & airy, modern with some old world charm, and meticulously maintained. The ocean is so close to the house that with the windows open, we felt like we were practically on the sea! The furnishings are very comfortable and bright, there are multiple places inside and out to curl up with a good book, the kitchen is extremely well appointed, and the ocean is EVERYWHERE. Love how private it feels, the many big windows, the breeze, the quiet, the fact that it’s cozy but there’s plenty of space to stretch out, and that towns are just a few minutes away. It was just 2 of us this time, but it would be great for families, too (lots of family games in those cabinets, big lawn out front for kids to run around in addition to nooks & crannies to explore in the rocks by the water). We were looking for an outdoorsy, quiet vacation, but for those who want restaurants & night life, the quaint but lively town of Ogunquit was hopping in the evenings when we drove through for a couple of night walks on the (mostly empty) beach even though it was Sept-Oct. Some stores & a couple of restaurants are nearby in Cape Neddick. Also, Jim was easy to contact and very responsive to our questions. Great host!

Spectacular ocean views and solitude in a well maintained, well equipped house!

We loved this house and but for a couple of really hot stagnant days we had gorgeous ocean breezes and comfortable temperatures to ocean gaze, play lawn games and cook family meals. On the hot days we ran away to Ogunquit Beach which was a nice beach with a nice town center nearby for lunch and ice cream. We will try to return soon!!

A Fabulous Home

My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at "Tidepools" with our entire family- eight of us all together. The home is extremely comfortable with plenty of room for all of us- four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and an outdoor shower were more than adequate. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed using all of the outdoor dinnerware. We had most of our meals outside at a lovely table for eight overlooking the cliffs and magnificent ocean. Views of Boone Island, Nubble Lighthouse, lobster boats and a gorgeous moon at night made for a perfect vacation for our family. We hope to be able to return again!

Beautiful house at a beautiful location!

We rented the house for a Girl's weekend and it easily handled nine woman. Plenty of room to stretch out. Bedrooms were comfortable even the room with 4 twin beds. Only down side was I feel like there could have been more written instructions. Nothing about TV controls only to make sure we did not lose them. Tried to watch football one evening and couldn't get the cable to work. Also not much instructions on the heat. And with three bathrooms I would have thought there would have been three blow dryers, but there was only one. We would have brought some had we not anticipated two-three being there already. But those were small hurdles in an otherwise wonderful house!

Relaxing week on the ocean

Our families enjoyed a beautiful week of taking in the panoramic ocean views, exploring the tidal pools with our children and preparing lobster boils on the rocks at night. We were able to bike to the beach and to Perkin's Cove just a few short miles away yet find tranquility in this well appointed, cozy family home. We had a memorable family vacation.

Excellent Family Vacation Home!

We spent 3-days with our family in late summer - beautiful place & views, very clean and had all the accomodations we needed for a peaceful and relaxing time with our family. Our teenagers spent nearly everyday walking the rocks - much better than X-Box! We will be back next year.

An Outstanding Vacation Home

My family spent 5 days in this fantastic home. It was such a beautiful and comfortable home. It is spacious, the amenities were perfect, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, and decorated with modern comfort. The outdoor shower was a favorite! The view of the ocean is your backyard and we spent hours in the tide pools. No one wanted to leave. The owners were wonderful to work with and it was easy to travel up and down the southern coast of Maine to shop and eat. Honestly, the perfect way to spend some family time before we dropped our daughter off at The University of new Hampshire. We will definitely be back!

Oceanfront treasure

Our family spent a week here and we didnt want to leave! The accomodations are fabulous - contemporary, spacious and comfortable. The panoramic view of the ocean is spectacular, we found ourselves sitting outside by the rocks for hours! The location is private and yet you are minutes away from restaurants, shops and beaches. A real gem! We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful & Immaculate home! Better than the Pics

We recently spent a short 3 day stay at this beautiful home! The pictures don't do it justice! It was amazing with the beautiful ocean right at your door. What a beautiful view to wake up to! We also had gorgeous weather to sit on the front lawn and enjoy the sunshine with our family. The property was immaculate and well maintained. It was a perfect setting with plenty of room for all of us to be together or to escape to a quiet area if you chose. We will definitely be back but for a longer stay!

The owners' parents bought the land and built the house in the early 1960s as a summer getaway. Tidepools was renovated and restored top to bottom in 2015 to lovingly recapture the simplicity of its original vision of oneness with the breathtaking beauty of the location's site on a high rocky point jutting into the Atlantic. Additional improvements made in spring 2019 including new TV, refrigerator, landscaping, windows, seaside patio, siding, and insulation.
