De tre stugorna är var och en privat och avskild på fem tunnland sluttning bland gran-, hemlock-, björk- och pilträd med utsikt över Trail Lake i CHUGACH National National Forest. Var och en har sin egen badtunna och rymmer fester på 1-22.

Centralt beläget mitt i allt är det att göra på KENAI PENINSULA:
15 minuter till Cooper Landing; 30 till Seward; 1 timme till Whittier, Prince William Sound, Alyeska och Soldotna & Lower Kenai; 2. 5 timmar till Homer; och 90 minuter från Anchorage.

Koppla av omgiven av snöklädda berg med utsikt över turkosfärgad Trail Lake.

De världsberömda floderna KENAI & RUSSIAN är bara några minuter bort - fiske efter lax och öring i världsklass eller forsränning och björnbesiktning.

Wonderful stay in Moose Pass! The chalet was conveniently located between Seward and Anchorage. Having breakfast already prepared for us for the first morning by the host was a really nice surprise! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had the best time in this location and in this chalet. It was central to so many wonderful spots to explore and also had their own amazing views and lake access. It was perfect for our large family and we can’t wait to come back!

The perfect mountain retreat. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was great overlooking the mountains. It was a really wonderful property. Highly recommend. The hosts even left us a homemade French toast dish for the next morning that was excellent!

The views of the lake and surrounding mountains from the Chalet are amazing! Hot tub was great for seeing views and relaxing after outdoor excursions. Host was kind and welcoming, and provided helpful suggestions on activities nearby and fishing. Overall, we had a memorable experience visiting the Kenai Peninsula, and would stay here again if ever back.

Perfect place

We had a lovely time at Stellar Jay Chalet in Moose Pass. The home was very nice and so clean. Location amazing and the views are gorgeous. Highly recommend. Host, Gary, is super nice and helpful. Hope we can go back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stellar Jay. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the view of the mountains and lake was beautiful. Very thoughtful hosts left us a French toast casserole that was delicious. This house is great for hanging out and a good home base for hiking and rafting and fishing.

We really really enjoyed our stay! The views of the mountains were beautiful, and the space was perfect for our group of 7. We got to enjoy the hot tub as well, a great way to end our chilly day adventures!

What a fantastic place. Well equipped - we made several meals there. The view was amazing. The hot tub was clean and we appreciated the rules around it to keep it sanitized. Dark curtains helped with the summer sun. Nice drive into Seward and Kenai. Overall definitely recommended.

Moose Pass is the perfect base for the activities we planned in Seward. The host was very responsive to all my questions, and the Stellar Jay chalet was clean and equipped with all the amenities our active family of five needed for a great vacation.

I would stay here again

Everything you could want in a vacation rental. Beautiful lakeside mountain view, privacy, responsive host, homemade breakfast surprising us on our arrival, canoes available for stunning paddling, plenty of nearby hiking, short drive to Seward. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future!

The Eastern Kenai Peninsula is REALLY the BEST of Alaska - and The Spruce Moose is an incomparable place to wake up to in the morning, adventure from during the day, and return to at night to relax in the loooong summer evenings, surrounded by incredible mountian and lake views. We loved the Stellar Jay and had an amazing time in Alaska. Everything at the property was clean and we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. I couldn’t recommend this property more!!

Great place to stay. Fully equipt!

we had a wonderful stay for Christmas. It was even decorated with carols playing when we arrived. So warm and cozy and plenty of things to do outside. Only downside is that its pretty expensive after you add up all the fees and taxes.

Glad you had a good time! Unfortunately, this may be the last winter we are open. Our winter rates avg 50% lower than summer, but we have much fewer rental days and the operational costs are higher. VRBO has now added a 4-9% fee to the renter to use their site and it's cut into our already slim winter margin, and bookings thru their site are down. We are in the hole this winter for the first time in 8 years. Folks that stay with us love the place in winter, but unless we can find more interest, it will not make sense to stay open.
