Detta hem är en lugn oas och perfekt passform för FoU eller som en konstnärsresort.
Detta unika utrymme ligger mycket nära centrum med fördelen att vara i ett säkert, lugnt bostadsområde.
Takfönster och katedraltak ger rymlighet och solsken i vardagsrummet, matsalen och köket. Upplev också härlig utsikt över Taos bergen från trädgården, både sovrum och veranda!

Den privata gården är nollbildad med vackra flaggstensstigar, flaggstensbänk / bord och en sittplats för utomhus som är perfekt för att titta på solnedgångar, stjärnor eller njuta av morgonkaffe. Det finns också en grill om du väljer att stanna kvar och ha en lugn kväll hemma.

Vardagsrummet har en CD / stereosystem, DVD och en TV utrustad med Roku - så att du kan hålla jämna steg med din netflix och dina favorit-TV-program.

En speciell funktion är den upprättstående Steinway Piano.
Dessutom finns det ett skrivbord och en liten kontorsalov om du behöver ta hand om affärer under din resa. Och för att hålla arbetet fridfullt - har du utsikt över bergen!

Casa de Blis är en 2 våningar stadsbostad med ett sovrum på första våningen (drottning) och från 1/2018 har andra våningen (som är ett öppet loft) en helt ny plattformsstorlek i full storlek med skummadrass. Dessutom har vi en helt ny deluxe Queen size luftmadrass tillgänglig. Så utrymmet sover lätt 4-6.

2 badrum med badkar och ett med dusch. Tvättmaskin torktumlare. Fullt kök är komplett med diskar, grytor / stekpannor, mikrovågsugn, kaffekanna, apparater och köksredskap. Sängkläder och Wi-Fi levereras.

På övervåningen har en liten AC-enhet för att hålla dig sval på sommaren och Downstairs erbjuder strålande uppvärmning som hjälper dig att värma dina fötter på vintern.

I närheten (inom gångavstånd) finns bland annat Baskin Robbins, stormarknad, Taos Herb Company, Family Dollar, Bealls, Salon, restauranger samt Taos Center for Natural Healing som ligger precis intill! (fantastisk plats för massage och andra alternativa behandlingar)

Great Holiday Stay

2 couples shared this property for 4th of July weekend. We got to see the firework show from the middle school, which was great! The property itself was nice for the 4 of us and fit us perfectly! The only issue we had with this entire stay was the coffee pot. It’s just very slow. Other than that, everything was super nice and the host was prepared for anything we might have needed!

Good price for the value

We thought this condo good for the price. I did love the Samsung Frame TV in the living room for resting after our hikes. The second bedroom on the first floor didn't have a window AC unit like the main bedroom and we were not comfortable leaving first floor windows open at night for safety reasons, so it was a bit warm even with the fam provided. It was in the high 80s when we were there so we appreciated the AC unit on the first floor-most places in Taos do not have AC.

Lovely stay

Spacious. Excellent light: large windows downstairs and upstairs provided a lovely view of the sunset every day, and skylights in the living room created a bright and inviting space. Kind and responsive host. The neighbor's friendly cats are available for pets.

Family Ski Trip

This was an awesome find! My partner, my dad, and I came to try Taos Ski Valley and Angel Fire Resort. The town of Taos was a perfect middle ground for both ski resorts. The house was the perfect amount of space for 3 people and could even house a 4th or 5th person if needed. Very charming decor and we had access to everything we needed, inside and out (very central to town).

The property is swell, although I'd use the upstairs shower only in case of elbows hitting the wall. Communication with owner/manager was great, especially since the info from vrbo was wrong, and owner keeps trying to correct it. Thank you for the lovely space

It was convenient to the Big Barn Dance but we did have to drive to the center of town to get a parking spot. The VRBO house was clean as expected. Great responses from the owner and local response team.

Place was very clean and as online listing.

We both enjoyed the stay and were able to explore area with as base camp. The night lights outside were nice touch. Only complaint was couches were broken down and unconvertable, but we did not spend much time watching TV anyway.

Relaxing & Rejuvenating!

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful Taos House on our way from Flagstaff to Colorado. We needed a retreat away from everyone and this was PERFECT. The house was clean, well furnished and the backyard was absolutely adorable. It was really close to some beautiful hiking & hot springs. Spacious, affordable and exactly what we were looking for. We're not a couple so it was nice to have our own floors! We're usually crammed into hotel rooms and small cars on our travels. Definitely check out the ale house next door...best burgers.

Property is very comfortable and clean. Tv set up is not friendly to old guys. 2 nd year at this property and are already planning for next year. . A few maintenance issues that need attention: bad skylights, no good knives, we cooked in a lot. BBQ is past its prime. All together a wonderful stay.

A week in Taos

My sister and I visited the Taos area for a week, to do some sightseeing and hiking. This property was perfect for the two of us. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels very safe. The next door neighbor was so courteous as to check in with us the day before he planned to do some noisy repair work in his back yard. We were out and about that next day, so it didn't affect us at all. But such thoughtfulness left an impression. This lovely little house has a perfect little fenced in yard and comes with all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals, to tidy up, to wash and dry your clothes. Two minor items to take into consideration: the downstairs mattress is very soft and the downstairs shower stall is very tight. These are observations, not criticisms. For us, the Casa de Blis was an excellent choice, and we'd gladly return.

Property not cleaned

Vrbo gave the wrong entrance information. Had to call property manager for access. Damp towels in linen area. Laundry left in the location was to other areas of Taos was great. The location was quiet . But fir the orice I was disappointeddryer. Rugs not vacuum cleaned- lint, hair pins and hair on rugs. Plaster peeling from living room window surround. Screen dooir at front did not connect with loop so couldn’t be used. Cracked tiles in kitchen area.

Disappointments

One issue was the inaccurate description of sleeping spaces. We had one very comfortable bed, one bed that was so-so, and that was it. There were four of us. One of our party slept the first night on the sofa bed, which was uncomfortable enough that she really didn't sleep much at all. And the second night, she tried the air mattress, which deflated in the middle of the night, and even though she reinflated it several times, it lost air, so she had to return to the very uncomfortable couch. The owners/manangers should have left instructions for how to use the mattress if there were special considerations. This experience was unacceptable. You advertised places for six to sleep, but our party of four was not well-served. And we paid the high Christmas price. The downstairs bath was dirty, especially around the baseboards, and the toilet clogged the second day badly. No amount of plunging could remedy it. Some kind of small black insect was crawling near the baseboards in the downstairs bath and on the kitchen counter. And the lock box combination and the WiFi codes the host sent were incorrect, causing unnecessary problems (like standing around in the bitter cold to take screen shots of the lock box). Lots of crumbs in the refrigerator didn't make for confidence in the level of care. For the price, I expected a better experience. It was my first time with VRBO. I am not impressed.

Wonderful place hosted by great people

My 3 sisters and were super happy staying here - it feels secluded and quiet but is near the main road, and more importantly the place itself is just lovely. There’s a great feel to it, as well as having all the amenities. March lodging in Taos

Roomy, nice , good location, good price. For what you get, you are not going to do better. It has everything you could possibly need except large compacity. Has very small washer and dryer. We just washed a super small load a few times every night. Full bed downstairs. Queen upstairs. And Futon in living room. Small window unit upstairs which was needed in March.

I am a singer/songwriter/pianist currently living in Nashville, TN. Taos is home to me, it's such a magical & beautiful place! But my current work is in TN.
I love my home and enjoy visiting when I can. Taos is such an amazing place to recharge and take a step back from the chaos of life. I cherish my reprieves at 'home' for inspiration and to focus on songwriting. That's why I describe it as an Oasis. And Blis is my middle name (hence the spelling ;) Also, this house has been a joyful place for both myself and friends! Feel free to drop a line if you have any questions.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I designed it as a vacation home for myself. I set it up to be a place where one can, "get away from it all." The location is super close to town, but also nestled on a quiet street so you can escape crowds, noise when there are local events. Also, it's a small row of 6 townhouses (mine is an end unit) with lovely & quiet neighbors. And they are also friendly if you need anything. Kitchen is fully stocked with a huge island for cooking.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Library, Piano, Desk Area for work- but it folds up and looks like a cabinet if you don't need it. Amazing Skylights & Cathedral ceilings. Taos Center for Natural Healing is literally steps away. It's an amazing place for massages, acupuncture and other alternative healing treatments. I also love having Baskin-Robbins right on the corner (less than quarter of a mile). It's a lovely little stroll to take at night before you settle in. The yard is zeroscaped with flagstone (porch, path, and little rock table) with an sweet view of Taos Mountain. You can also see the sunsets from the side windows and the yard. Taos sunsets are gorgeous! And there's a great view of the mountain from the front windows.
