Very nice stay

Had a very nice stay. House was comfortable, fit my needs for myself, partner and family members who also came & stayed, 5 of us total...plenty of room. Home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Ocean view & beach access was great! I would stay again, and I do recommend!

Great location

House built in the 40s and we'll maintained for a structure so close to the salt water. Downstairs is limited height for tallnpeople and was disappointed that there was no coffee filters of correct size or dishwasher soap since 12 cup cosj

Right across from the beach!

Great location. A bit outdated for the bedrooms, but enjoyed the quick access to the beach and spacious living room and kitchen.

Great location!!

What a great place ! Close beach access … the house is second row but you could see the ocean ok.. Clean .. accommodating … our family so enjoyed the all the accommodations ! Laundry .. grills .. the stocked kitchen for food prep.. would stay again!!

The proximity to the beach can't be beat

We rented the house for my MIL's birthday and it was perfect. Being able to sit and watch the waves was the best. The only thing that was kind of a pain was the basement room was quite a bit colder then the upstairs and we couldn't figure out the heater so my husband and daughter were cold at night.

A great place to stay with a great view.

This home is in a great location with easy access and great views of the ocean. Overall the home was clean with good furnishings that were cozy. A return trip will be on our minds.

First time to Oregon coast for inlaws from Germany

We took my daughters husbands parents to see the Oregon coast and Pacific Ocean for the first time as they visited the US for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. It was clean, comfotable, and close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great beach access!

What a great little house! We loved the location, easy access to town. Also, the beach access right across the street was amazing. There was plenty of room in the living/ kitchen area for all of us. I will say the beds are not very comfortable and could use updated. Worth that said, we would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! One tiny problem, spiders. House needs a good big bomb. Other than that it was awesome! LOVE the easy access to the beach. Could use a update on the floors and furniture!

Good stay. Didn't expect to have to walk up stairs into main place and not have a non stair entrance. A bit difficult due to existing knee issues. However, relaxing environment good space, and location.

Nice home. Some outdated things like furniture and appliances. Needed to fix burners on stove. Probably left loose after cleaning. Basement room was always cold. A space heater would be nice, maybe insulate.

Upon arriving our group noticed the house did not smell good but okay we could deal....However then we take our shoes off and the carpet is wet all over? All weekend wet carpet and dirty stained gross so we had to wear our shoes the entire time. The sheets in all the bedrooms were definitely not washed they had black hairs and brown stains on them so we all had to sleep on the couches and chairs. Needless to say our group almost got a hotel if we could of afforded it!

Our trip was amazing and the house had plenty of space for us. The cleaners didnt do a very good job but we didnt let that ruin anything. Will continue to rent Vrbo with Meredith Lodging

From Rain To Sunshine

We stayed at The Anchor and it was the right size for our 3 young kids and 4 adults. It was very comfortable with all of us In the living room at once, enjoying a movie night. It was raining when we arrived, and Saturday was cloudy & a light mist all day. But Sunday & Monday morning, the sun was shining through the blinds, and we enjoyed a full day at the beach. The beach is walking distance from the house, so that was very convenient. The neighborhood was very nice, and the other families on all sides of us were very kind. My grandchildren enjoyed the sand toys and bucket in the basement to build a sand castle with their parents. I enjoyed watching the surfers working out on their surf boards. The first time witnessing it up front; it looks very challenging! This was the second time this year that we rented a house instead of 3 or 4 motel rooms, eating out every meal, etc. We saved several hundred dollars renting a house. We will definitely be renting again this year!
