50th birthday celebration

Great location to what we were planning on doing for the days. First time renting with VRBO, the check in process was not great. Was sent the wrong code to the house and took about an hour to get the correct code. But once we were able to get in the house, we had a nice time. The weather wasn’t the warmest at night yo use the patio or pool. We did enjoy the pool table.

The property was very nice and plenty of room. It was not super clean but it was ok.

It was good size for our family of 5 adults and one 2 1/2 year old. I do think that food from others should be removed if open. Also a note in the welcome email about garbage and recycling days. Tubs and sinks did not drain well and all faucets are loose and wobbly. It was a nice property but could use a little maintenance and deep cleaning.

Very nice place! Enjoyed the Heated Pool!!!! Everything went good-called the Manager Ashley about a couple things & she was right on top of it to answer some questions! Had a Great Time @ a Beautiful Place!

Photos extremely misleading! Dirty, run down property.

A dump! Broken furniture, wobbly chair legs, slats missing on chairs, only two useable kitchen chairs, bench for seating at the kitchen table had a unsafe and wobbly leg, couch seats broken down and felt like you were sitting in a hole, bed sheets pilled and thin, no mattress pads on beds, mattresses on twin beds were shot, when stripped at end of stay the pillows had large sweat and drool stains on them, short supply of towels and wash cloths, found a package of unused wash clothes and they were marked 6/$1.99-high quality, not enough cutlery for eight people, dishwashing sponge was from previous people, pool was very low on water, had a large scum ring also, grill was filthy, patio furniture and light had not been cleaned in a long time, house had not been cleaned or beds changed when we arrived due to a “miscommunication ,” laundry to fold in dryer, dirty laundry in basket on top of dryer, toothpaste from previous people in sink, hair on bedding from previous people, comforters on beds had seen better days, baseboards were filthy, poor lighting in great room, burned out light bulbs, waiver of pool heating fee by owner only because there was no fee mentioned in housing description resulting in an unheated pool when we arrived even though the house is advertised as having a heated pool, messages were exchanged asking about the heated pool and our desire to use it right away, having to run the hose in the pool for 12+ hours to bring the water level up and then wait for that water to heat up, and a bee infestation in the rock structure over pool area that resulted in a bee keeper coming out to kill the bees and reported an estimate of 10,000 bees in hive and that owners had same problem last year. Property manager texted me that she respected our decision to not use the pool the day the bee keeper was there, but he said it was safe to use the pool In a few hours. Really? We didn’t use the pool at all that day due to a large population of angry bees hanging around! This was described as a “Premiere” property and was far from that. There was some monetary compensation for our stay, but it didn’t cover what we went through. It’s properties like this that make me never want to trust Home Away with any future travel plans of mine.

Girls Gone Golfing

Our annual Girls Golf Trip found us in Scottsdale staying at Scottsdale Summit. It was perfect. Plenty of comfy beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook in. We enjoyed drinking wine by the fire pit in the evening. The afternoons were a bit cool during our stay so we didn't get to use the pool but we loved the sound of the waterfall! A Colorado snowstorm had us coming in a day early and Randy and Ashley worked to accommodate our extra night. This is pretty close to Old Town with easy access to the freeway. Great Place with Great Hosts!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location of the house is perfect to go do anything you want. We also really enjoyed the heated pool and the beds were very comfortable! They only thing we didn’t enjoy was multiple broken things like door frames, towel holders and handles to doors. Made it difficult to get in/outside and shut doors. The house/pool wasn’t very clean when we got there either which was a bummer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again, just needs some maintence and TLC before I would stay there again.

Great location, great pad

The house was great for a smaller group attending the WM Phoenix Open. House was clean and had plenty of room for the group. Would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Phoenix/Scottsdale area!

Wonderful location and beautiful home

Our stay here was wonderful. The home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. No worries on which room you get, all the beds were great. This house is very close to old town, just a 6 to 8 minute Uber ride away. The kitchen had everything you needed a cook a good meal if you feel like staying in. The outside away was awesome. Plenty of light to sit by the pool at night and enjoy a cocktail. The pool was warm and clean. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great base in Scottsdale!

Fantastic location with all the amenities. Swimming pool was a highly appreciated getaway from the heat. Pool table and bar room was great for 6 guys to hang out.

Clean with all the amenities!

Great property! We recently stayed during a golf trip and had a blast. The owner is super helpful and very responsive. Very clean with all the amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect house for Spring Training

We just returned from four days enjoying Spring Training. The house is perfectly located to catch games at a variety of stadiums, especially the Giants just a few miles away. The pool was awesome, warm and clean. And we spent many hours enjoying the pool table. The owner Randy was super respond every time I contacted him leading up and during the trip. We can't wait to return!

Nice vacation spot in Scottsdale

Nice clean home in Scottsdale, located in a quiet suburban neighborhood. It more accurately sleeps 7, than the 8-10 listed. There is a cot that would allow for 8, and a sectional couch that a 9th could sleep on. The pool was not heated when we stayed there, nor were there instructions on how to operate it, the outdoor waterfall, or the outdoor lights. Regardless, it was a fun place to bunk for a football game and served us well. The pool table is fun and the house has full cable & wifi.

I've been coming to Spring training for over 20 years, and finally decided to buy a 2nd home , so I can spend more time in the Scottsdale area. There is so much to do in this area that I will probably retire here. I really enjoy going to the many minor league ball parks in this area, and the many golf courses. I grew up in Michigan, and went to school at Michigan State, and currently live in Orange County, California.
The picture is at Diablo Stadium with my daughter, Ashley.

This house has so many amenities, but we have great Location, location, location !! Less than 2 miles from Old Town Scottsdale and 4 miles from Downtown Scottsdale entertainment. Three minor league ball parks are very close SF Giants (1.5 miles) , Cubs (4.5 miles ) AZ Diamondbacks (4.5 mi) . 2 casinos: Arizona Casino ( 4 mi.) & Talking Stick (5mi.) Many golf courses close by. We are less than 1 mile from the 101 fwy off of Thomas Rd, making it easy to get anywhere in Phoenix area!
