The cottage is old, with old, oddly mixed furniture and appliances and a musty smell overall. The sheets or pillow had an odor. I bought new pillows, but I think the problem was the bottom sheet hadn't been changed. The windows need washing. Lighting was a bit haphazard and inadequate to some degree. Overall I was very disappointed in the condition of the cottage.

We're sorry the studio did not meet your expectations. As reflected in our listing photos, the studio is an older adobe property, which is characteristic of many homes in Santa Fe. We take cleanliness very seriously, and all linens and pillow protectors are freshly laundered between guests. During your stay, we were happy to provide additional lighting upon request, and the studio also features a large skylight that provides abundant natural light. We would also note that the gas stove is a newer appliance. Thank you again for your feedback. While we regret that the studio was not the right fit for your preferences, we remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable stay and an accurate representation of the property for future guests. Lovely place - was beautiful and comfortable and became our home away from home. Bed was very comfy and the space was bright and roomy and close to downtown Santa Fe. Owner and her daughter were sweet and responsive.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hacienda was so cozy, and charming. Every detail was thought out, and we couldnt have asked for anything more. We loved the privacy of the property and the location close to town.

Perfect location!

The studio was 10 minutes or less from downtown Santa Fe, plus it was easy to get on the highway and make day trips around northern New Mexico. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was great (and I’m a harsh critic as a light sleeper and someone with back problems). Wanette and Flora made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to both for a fantastic visit to Santa Fe!

Comfortable, conveniently located crash pad

My wife and I were touring New Mexico for a week and this is by far the best place we stayed in. The casita was extremely homey, and very comfortable. The bed was HUGE and was honestly a dream to sleep in. We really enjoyed the full kitchen as well. Loved waking up to the sound of jays and other birds flying around the trees outside. It was also very convenient to everything we did in Santa Fe and a great coffee place (Java Joes) is like 5 minutes away. 10/10 experience and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyed the studio and the property. Having meals on the patio was a treat. There is a sky light right above the bed. And that bed is very comfortable. The property manager, Wanette, was responsive to our questions. We arrived really late and she had turned the a/c and an interior light on. Very kind and thoughtful act. The only quibble we had was the quantity of dust on the shelf in the sun room. Highly recommend this property.

Roomy and comfortable

We enjoyed the traditional architecture with modern amenities. Off the beaten path but still an easy drive into the heart of Santa Fe. Lots more space than you would expect from a "studio" and especially enjoyed evenings in the sun room. There is a large skylight over the comfortable bed so expect lots of light early morning (or during a wild night storm with lots of lightning!) Communication with host is great both before and during visit. A few extra steps for booking, including contract and additional fee for damage insurance.

Bright and quiet

It was a very bright and quiet studio. Beautiful views from the back study. Very comfortable bed, and very conveniently located to the city. Highly recommend it to anyone

The studio was very clean and perfect for our weekend away. It was close to town. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this studio. It is actually larger than the photos. The kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals, saving money. Its location is an easy drive to everywhere you want to go in Santa Fe. We will definitely return.
