Beautiful property

Beautiful location only disappointment was the bigger pool was under construction on arrival and nO one bothered to let us know by email phone etc. when we asked about it numerous employees including one of the owners promised oh we will take care of you etc and never once heard from 3+ people even the guy doing the presentation for the company thought he was doing us good by only trying to get us to buy in soon as we declined he could have cared less about our concerns. In the end it was obvious they only cared about $$$ no consumer satisfaction and fyi the pool was up and running as we were packing to leave big dissatisfaction!!!

Needs improvements

We stayed in 302N and expected more/better for the price. Listing incorrectly described property as “luxury” but it was just fine. 12 days before arrival we got email that there would be construction on one of the pools - caused pre vacation anxiety bc it was too late to make any changes but there was no discount offered. Pros -friendly staff, incredible view, great location (coffee shop across the street is gold!). Cons - needs some love. Small cheap improvements would go a long way (eg no place to hang wet beach towels, fan in bedroom is loud/wobbly, tricky front door lock, ikea bed frame broke and had be repaired, mattress was sunken and uncomfortable, no blanket for sofa bed on our first night). All that said, we would stay again. It wasnt terrible!

Wonderful family place

The property had an amazing view looking out to the ocean and the units were very accommodating to our needs as a family of 4. One pool was under construction but there was another pool available to use and were notified of this prior to arrival. Staff are in throughout the day, always very friendly and helpful. We switched units halfway throughout the week and my daughter left her childhood blanket in the room that we left and the housekeeper made sure it got back to us safely. I cannot say enough good about this place. Would definitely come back!!

Nice place...Beautiful view just needs a few improvements

Love the property and location as we have stayed here before. Just a few mentions: the positive you could not beat the location and the beauty of being at the beach room was nice but see below people in the building we met were nice gentleman who was working around the building was nice as can be office people were very nice and accommodating if we needed anything improvements needed: no contact leading up to stay - someone should have reached out to us letting us know where to go to pick up room info..etc room was a bit dirty - blinds very dusty - wall in bedroom near door was very dusty - couch and chair were stained and dirty tub tile had mold on it had a negative experience with one of cleaning staff as she parked in my designated spot - did not know who it was at the time and I left a note as I parked behind the car...she came up to my room and accused me of locking her door and she could not get in the car..I did not touch her car except for putting the note on the windshield. afterwards...somehow the car was moved out of the spot how I dont' know since I blocked it in...

Needs little help

The property is in need of clean swimming pools and should be done on a daily basis. There are No UMBRELLAS. Some older chairs were torn. Inside our condo was clean in all useable areas, but doors were not clean front & back of doors especially. Sitting chair had cushion to sit that a was different color than chair and was too large that hung over the front off chair. Sofa could use cleaning. Things were not that bad that we would not come back, because we love the location right on the beach and love third floor porch. You don't have to deal with alot of people around you. Staff does help you if needed. We would come back.

Can not beat the location!! we will be back!!

The check in process needs to be worked out and better communication between VRBO contact and Hotel front desk. We did not receive any check in instructions and made attempts to contact property manager via VRBO app with no response. check in is at 4pm and we did not get in until after 7pm after having to make a drive to the actual hotel to receive door code and sign paperwork. (we did not travel with a vehicle so that made things interesting) We stayed in N302, room has been completely remodeled and is beautiful However room could use a deep clean, especially fans, windows, and baseboards. The microwave had old food in it, so I question what level of "cleaning" was done prior to our arrival. The kitchen supplies (pans, spatulas, dishes) could be improved. Living room Chair needs to be replaced, it has a mismatched seat cushion that is not comfortable to sit on. The balcony furniture is dated and in need or repair. The pool has a closed sign from the health dept but was still used (questioned sign, was told pool is not zoned accordingly) Beach access is amazing!!! you are just steps from the beach and the view from 3rd floor can not be beat. We would definitely return now that we know how check in process really works and I know to bring cleaning supplies. Given the price and location the outdated patio furniture, limited kitchen supplies (next time I'm putting a small pan and spatula in my checked luggage), uncomfortable furniture and need to clean room prior to occupancy, we would still make recommendations to our family and return in the future. This is our 2nd trip to IRB and can't wait to return.

Poor checkin experience

Door code not provided until 5pm, an hour after checkin. Was told at reception desk that it would be provided at 2:30. Messages to mgr requesting checkin info prior to arrival went unanswered. Got info on checkin procedure from another tenant. Great place but a below expectation experience around checkin and communications. Give em a shot, everyone gets off their "A" game once in a while. Just disappointing/frustrating when it sucks some of the excitement away on your 1st day.

I enjoyed myself very much at this unit. Third floor (top) and FABULOUS view of the beach!!! The weather was perfect which made it all the more enjoyable. I was a little disappointed with the check-in. I was told there was a problem with the toilet and it was being fixed and could I arrive after 5:30. I arrived at 6:30 and they were still working on it. Everyone was VERY NICE. The kitchen was poorly equipped, i.e., no salad bowl, no cork screw, only 4 place settings and no mixing bowls and the general kitchen fare was lacking.

RENTER BEWARE! I WOULD TAKE TIME TO READ THIS. THIS PICTURE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU GET THERE

This property was disgusting. I wish I could upload pictures to give you a true feel of what you will really get. The room we got was from the 1980's. All the furniture was so stained you could not even sit on it. The air conditioning broke, 1 pool was freezing cold and the other was pee warm actually hot and full of sand, there was poop on the toilet paper holder, the roll out bed was impossible to sleep in, the lighting was so dark you couldn't do anything inside, the grills did not light, you couldn't get additional supplies you wanted, the gate to the beach was broken, the sliding glass door would not open, the table outside was pitted so that you could not clean it (this was in March when COVID was ramping up) and there was 1 umbrella at the pool and just a few chairs. I had reached out to Dustin (property manager/owner) before we had left about this situation asking for a refund as this nothing like the pictures. He was very wonderful at first and stated he had much nicer properties if we would like for a future stay. I told him that we were not interested in that as it could be the same situation and if he had nicer ones in the first place, why did we not get that. We just wanted a refund. We went back and forth with longer times in between his correspondence then finally when it came down to refund time (which he said he would do - I have the emails) nothing since May 8th. I reached out to CandaStays and they "investigated" and stated that it was past the 14 days of return. I informed them that I started with Dustin before we even left and they could clearly see this from what I sent them. They stated again it was past the 14 days and closed the case. Please do not rent from this entity and beware of VRBO as I originally book through them and it turned out to be a sublet. I contacted VRBO (as no one was getting back to me) about this and they asked why I didn't contact them in the first place. I stated that the whole time before (when I had questions) I was told by VRBO to contact CanadaStays and I was in contact with the property manager/owner so I did not think VRBO wanted anything to do with it. This was our family's first major vacation and it was so disappointing in this aspect. If I can save one family/person this gross headache I am glad. I ask that this rental put actual pictures of every possible unit you could get or be dissolved. Thank you for your time in reading this Tammy D. We traveled 3/7/2020 -3/13/2020!
