Don't Stay Here Unless Owners Update
I wasn't actually going to post a review, but I do feel it's important to warn people before they spend their hard-earned money.
Check in qas ok, except they don't tell you that you have to pay $20/ car for an access card. The woman in the clubhouse that issued the cards was a miserable person.
We arrive and enter the property to the unit smelling horrible and it was 75 degrees inside. I open everything up and turn the AC to air it out. I believe it was because it was closed up for a long period. We then discover a couple issues while we are unloading. The refrigerator has pooling water and one of the bedrooms has a huge ugly stain on the carpet. It looked as if someone had used the carpet for a bathroom. Also the two twin beds in that room had zero cushion. It was like sitting on springs. We also were not able to connect to the wifi, which I needed foe work.
I contacted the management company. They said they would send someone to address the issues. No one came. We were not able to use the one bedroom for our entire stay.
Contacted them the 2nd day and the 3rd day for added issues like ants all over the place, the washer broke mid cycle and a toilet was wobbling. On the 3rd day maintenance finally came. Two guys. One to fix the toilet and one to fix the frig and washing machine. Both were really wonderful.
That's the day I discovered nothing would be done about the stains or the beds. But I was able to get the correct wifi info on the 3rd day. I did wonder why the other representative that I had been calling didn't have that information and had kept stating the issues would be addressed, but never did anything to help. Lisa was great, although not able to fix several issues as it was the owners responsibility.
So over the next several days someone came to spray for ants...but only in one room. We discovered many issues, but thought it was pointless to complain. Broken chairs around the table, the couches are stained, end tabled with water marks, old bedding, stained bathroom tile grout. I paid extra for the pool to be heated. It was only warm the first day...after that it was barely heated.
I also had to clean and sanitize myself prior to unpacking everything initially also...so the people who clean, do not do a good job.
I wouldn't stay here unless the home gets proper maintenance and furniture. The owners clearly don't care about it...
I've rented homes all across the country for at least a decade and never had any issues, ever....
