Quiet location, great walkability

Clean, simple spot in a quiet neighborhood. Fast internet. Can walk to a few breakfast options and a grocery store. Easy drive to/from South Lake Tahoe.

Better off at a hotel

This is what me and my family experienced during our stay. On the first night, we were disturbed by a banging sound against the master wall from the outside, which scared our children. We discovered that the source of the noise was the back gate, which had a broken latch and had failed attempted to secure it with a bungee cord. Additionally, the house had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, including in the bear box. Although the previous renters could have caused this, the scent never dissipated. The dryer hardly worked. We had to dry out small loads of laundry at least four times before resorting to using the fireplace. The sink in the main bath would not drain, and black particles would backwash from down the sink. Small things were broken in the home. The toaster dial knob was missing, and some of the lampshades were cracked and taped back together. The working t remote was missing. We also noticed missing pieces from some of the board games. Moreover, there were not enough bedding, towels, and spoons provided. Lastly, the dishwasher tabs were minimal, which was disappointing. When we book a Vrbo, we expect to have a home-like experience. Unfortunately, this felt more like a poor motel experience.

Many positives about the rental

This house is in a quiet street and close to the center of the town and all the fun amenities like water sports and restaurants and hiking. It has plenty of space for 5 people and we did not feel crammed at all. The place had all that we needed in terms of pots , dishes, toiletries, etc. It has pleanty of blankets for chilly nights. There are two things I think can be improved and I feel like it is implrtant to improve (from my point of view). 1. Very uncomfortable matrasses through out the beds. Very soft and bouncy when you move. 2. Dryer does not work properly. It takes 5 drying cycles to dry a normal load of cloths. Maybe it is as simple as lint needs to be cleaned and removed by a professional, not sure. Also, washing machine's locking mechansm needs attention as it does not lock properly and takes time to start working. I think these are inportant details and why people like me choose to rent houses and not hotels. I hike and do woter sports a lot and we move from rental to rental and washing and dryer machines are important to us. Other than this, the house is very nice and we had a nice stay. the managing agent was very very quick to reply to my texts/questions, so thank you for that.

Perfect cozy home

My family and I stayed there for my husbands little birthday getaway. This home was exactly how it looks and explained. It beautiful,clean,cozy just what we were looking for. Definitely recommend and my family will be staying there again in the future for our next stay ☺️

First Lake Tahoe Trip

This is our first trip to Tahoe and the location of this place was great! There was plenty of room for our family and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. I do have to say that the floors were pretty dirty, my kids had white socks on and 10 minutes later they turned black. There was also some appliances we wanted to use but noticed they werent cleaned out properly, we even found old moldy rice in one of the rice cookers. I had tried to contact the Guest Contact but never got a response the whole weekend. Other than that our stay was good. We all enjoyed our weekend.

This was our second time staying here. It was very clean with the exception of the main bedroom carpet. Several black spots. The carpet needs replacing.

Great Tahoe landing spot

We enjoyed our stay in this nice little cabin near South Lake Tahoe. The property was clean when we got there. Easy to check in. Nice little deck outside that was good for meals. No A/C but cools off pretty well at night even while we were there in mid-July. Everything was just what we needed. It is older and could use some updates. Bed in the master was not very comfortable in my opinion. There was also a room with a twin and pullout underneath and a beanbag thing that can double as a bed. Worked great as a landing pad for us during our stay though.

The main bed was only a double bed and had a squeaky mattress. The location was good and centrally located near the golf course which made it close for a wedding we attended. Overall a nice clean house

Fantastic location

We were looking for a Tahoe rental that would allow us to give our kids a couple of days of snow play, and this little house was perfectly located for that! We lucked out and arrived on the tail end of a snowstorm, so the back yard was covered in fluffy white powder. The kids got out there and started playing immediately. We were thrilled to discover that the house is not even a mile away from Tube Tahoe - it would be walkable except for having to cross the highway. So really this location can't be beat. The house itself is cozy and well-outfitted, if dated. The queen bed was incredibly squeaky, so every time my husband or I moved we woke each other up. The twin bed with the pull-out trundle needs to be replaced, as the slats under the mattress literally fell off the rails when one of my kids got onto it, and we had to spend some time putting it back together and then making sure the kids got in and out very carefully. The kitchen is well supplied, and we loved having the garage space so we didn't have to dig our car out of the snow every day. We also loved the gas fireplace where we could warm up after being out in the cold. Everything was very clean and the bathrooms were in good working order.

Nice little home

Everything you could possibly need for a stay was available in the home. Food and clothes were all we need. Spices were also stocked. The yard could use a little help but you don't go to Lake Tahoe to sit in the yard of your rental.

Great location

It's difficult to find rentals in Meyers. Very close to family and anywhere you want to go. Did not have dishwasher soap, so hand washec dishes all week. Quite neighborhood, comfortable bed. Not as clean as I would like (bathroom door had black grime that I tried to clean with wipes I brought.

Good location for South Lake Tahoe skiing

The location was good for us to get to Kirkwood, and property was perfect for our group. Shops and restaurants were close by as well. One issue was that there were crumbs, dust and dirt under the couch and some sticky spots on the dinner table. That was unexpected since everything else about the place was good.

Good 2 bedroom rental

We had a great experience staying at this house. It was small but perfect for what we needed for our ski weekend. The house was clean and stayed warm really well when it was snowy outside. One thing to note was the dishwasher is super loud so if you turn it on before bed like we did you will be able to hear it from the bedrooms if you are a light sleeper, but I'm not even marking it down for that.

Great Christmas Vacation!

My husband, toddler and I stayed in the little yellow house for a week over Christmas. For the price, it’s such a great place. It’s not fancy but it met our needs and it was cozy for the 3 of us. There weren’t a ton of breakables in the house which was great for our very active toddler. We hope this place is available next time we come to Tahoe. Great place! Super easy check in too!
