Most enchanting stay in a lovely pocket of downtown mendo! Close to all the spots, yet quiet at home. Incredible garden to enjoy. Most welcoming and accommodating hosts. Not sure what more a guest could want!

Most wonderful stay at the cottage. Excellent location. Clean, spacious and everything you need for a cozy visit to Mendocino. Our hosts Kathleen and Mike were most gracious. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Mendocino.

Mendocino is a special place, and Mike and Kathleen have created a cottage experience that totally aligns. The cottage is so well appointed, clean, out-fitted with everything you need, and perfectly located. And the hosts are warm, friendly, and accessible. We will be back!

Lovely, quiet cottage in the center of Mendocino, walking distance to great restaurants and the Headlands. The cottage is comfortable and well--equipped, and we enjoyed sitting in the private garden. Mike and Kathleen are lovely hosts. We had a wonderful stay!

The hosts, Mike and Kathleen, were fabulous. And as locals themselves, they had wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. With the cottage attached to their main leaving quarters, you would never know they were there, so there was plenty of privacy. It was easy to walk from the cottage to the shops and restaurants in town. Since it is south of the busier Fort Bragg, it was quiet. So if you are looking for a get-away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the place to be. Being able to unplug was a welcoming experience. We definitely want to come back again!

This is an EXCELLENT property! The hosts are responsive and so pleasant. They made us feel like family! The proximity to everything in Mendocino is so very close, we walked to everything available in the town itself. The ocean is just down the street and some of the most impressive sunsets ever could be enjoyed there. Anything needed, from groceries to cafe's to historic homes were a walk away. If you're into the show "Murder She Wrote" the Blair House where it was filmed is just kitty corner to the property. The apartment is laid out beautifully with a comfortable bedroom and queen size bed, a bath with a shower and a kitchen/sitting area that made for a homey refuge. There is complete access to a beautiful porch and gardens with flowers and visiting hummingbirds each day. There were areas very worth visiting within a ten minute drive and we felt we could have stayed here for much longer and not be bored at all.

The host were very communicative and made our arrival super easy. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We had everything we needed and plenty of great tips on what to do from Michael and Kathleen. The cottage is very cozy and private. Everything in Mendicino is a short walk! We will be back!

Gracious host & great location

Wonderful little vacation spot. Easy check in, great hosts and incredible location, within walking distance to all the villages shops and restaurants. Would definitely book again.

Cozy cottage in perfect location. This was our second stay here- the cottage had everything we needed and we had access to a beautiful garden. Mike and Kathleen were gracious hosts with lots of great dining and activity suggestions. Shops, restaurants and beautiful nature were all within walking distance. We will definitely be back!
