Mysig stuga på Golden Pond med fantastisk utsikt

En enkel men attraktiv stuga på den vackra Squam Lake. Ligger på High Haith som är en ö på Squam Lake som är tillgänglig på väg. Ligger på sjön på en liten, lugn, privat väg. Detta är ett 3 sovrum, 1 1/2 bad hem med ett separat kök, ett kombinerat vardagsrum / matsal och ett stort däck mot sjön. Vardagsrummet har en full öppen spis (innehåller eldträ) och en veranda .. Köket har diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, spis / ugn, mixer, kaffebryggare, brödrost och en full tillgång till köksredskap och disk. Sovrummet har en queen size-säng och privat 1/2 badrum. Två andra sovrum har två enkelsängar vardera. Det finns också en utfällbar futon som kommer att sova två i vardagsrummet. Det finns en liten tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Sjöfronten (280 meter!) inkluderar en fullstor docka som rymmer en motorbåt (ingår ej!) och en aluminiumskano. Stuga ligger en 10 minuters bilresa från Center Harbor som har de flesta ammenities (full livsmedelsbutik och hårdvaruaffär och spritbutik samt flera bra restauranger)

Pine pitch gets on your car.It doesnt clean off easily. Cover your car. I was glad to have all wheel drive to get up the driveway. It's pretty steep. The setting was lovely. The weather was still chilly so nights were cold. Definitely needed to get the fireplace going each night. Bring your blankets if the weather is chilly. Bring bug spray. A TV would have been nice. It was a lovely setting but could have been better for the cost. I left 2 nights early.

Great location, lovely cabin

The cabin is rustic, but that’s what I loved about it. The view is beautiful and the screened in porch is perfect. However, there’s almost no Wi-Fi and poor cell service so don’t come thinking you’re going to get any work done. All we could really do was text. We also had a smoke alarm going off the first day and night and couldn’t reach the property owner to get it fixed until the following day. But overall it was a wonderful stay.

Golden Pond Getaway

Fabulous location! Really enjoyed the new, spacious screened-in porch overlooking the lake! Loved hearing the loons and doing some stargazing (on clear nights). WiFi worked great for us.

Another Great Stay

This is the 3rd time I rented this property and my 3 kids always want to go back. So relaxing and Squam is the best lake anywhere in the US.

Great old style lake camp! Fantastic new screened in porch. Quiet part of the lake, excellent viewing of sunrise. Would stay again!

Great little cabin on a beautiful lake

We stayed at Win’s cabin for our annual fishing trip. The cabin is the perfect accommodation for our trip. Win added a screen in porch this year that is great for relaxing afore a long day of fishing.

Very relaxing again. Great to unplug w no internet and TV and experience great family time without distractions. We love this cottage and the new screen room is fantastic. Thanks for a great long weekend w many memories.

Lovely rustic cottage on an awesome site, great privacy and waterfront

Fantastic place to stay if you value natural beauty, waterfront, privacy, and rustic charm. I don't mind mice and chipmunks, inside a cottage, but some people do. I think it would be great if the owners made 2 improvements: (1) provide a pair of good kayaks for guests, and (2) rodent-proofing the cottage.

Beautiful location. The cottage is rustic. Never planned to share the cottage with mice and bats..

Beautiful location for the cottage. We enjoyed walking right down to the lake each day . I can see how your family would enjoy their vacations on the lake. We were disappointed in how rustic the cottage truly was. Never planned to have had to share the cottage with mice on the counter tops daily. Squirrels coming into the bathroom and bats. The grill was to Dangerous to use. Thanks to family members living in the area we were able to borrow sheets, towels, and a safe grill. We never saw any agreement to rent the cottage only made paids to the rental company. We and your plumber were surprise he was the main contact for your property. Next time I will do a better job reviewing and contacting the owner of the property earlier. We will continue to look for other rentals on Squam Lake for the future.

An amazing cabin on an amazing lake

We booked this cabin for our annual fishing trip. This was our first trip to Squam . The cabin fit our needs perfectly, as it had a boat dock, and could accommodate 4 or more adults comfortably. The cabin itself was very clean. The beds are comfortable, and having a full kitchen was awesome. The cabin has a lot of rustic charm to it. I would highly recommend Win’s cabin to anybody that was looking for a place on Squam Lake. We look forward to coming back next year. P.S The fishing was great. We lost count of the smallmouth bass we caught.

Great rustic cabin

Views and location are spectacular. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Cabin is older and very rustic so if a little camping style is OK then this place is for you.
