Om boendet

Historiska Tidigare Settler Farm House som har moderniserats för din bekvämlighet.

Vår Rock House var det första huset byggdes på vår gård ligger norr om Dover, AR. Huset byggdes i början av 20-talet och min stor- farfar bodde i huset. En av de unika funktionerna i huset är att dess väggar är fast berg. Vi har gjort stora framsteg i att modernisera huset för att göra det en unik, men behaglig upplevelse. Huset ligger i mitten av 200 tunnland redo att utforska. Hem är uppdaterad och har 2 sovrum och en hopfällbar säng i ryggen veranda som är sluten och uppvärmd.

Paddla kanot. Fastigheten ligger 5 miles från Big Piney Creek och Rushing Road Bridge. Big Piney Creek är ett stort kanoturmål i Arkansas. Moore Outdoors är en populär kanotuthyrning för Big Piney. Google Moore Outdoors att hitta sin hemsida. Fastigheten är också ungefär en timmes bilresa till Buffalo River.

ATV Trail Riding. Cirka 15 miles norr på Scenic Hwy 7 är Mocassin Gap ATV Trail. Spår är väl märkta och lätt att hitta. Det finns flera vattenfall och vackra kreekövergångar. Brock Creek ATV spår är cirka 30 miles bort. Brock Creek skulle vara mer avancerade spår och märkningarna är inte riktigt lika bra.

Fiske. Massor av fiskemöjligheter finns i området. Det finns lagrade dammar tillgängliga på fastigheten som är tillgängliga att fiska. Dessutom är fisken Big Piney Creek väldigt populär (tvillingbroar till Rushing Road-bäcken kan vara avkopplande fiske / kanotur). Slutligen är Lake Dardanelle State Park, som är nationellt känd för sitt utmärkta bassfiske, en 12-mils bilresa från Dover, AR.

Motorcyklar: Perfekt startpunkt för motorcykelrittare som vill utforska Ozark Mountains. Trevlig startpunkt på följande destinationer: Jasper, AR, Hot Sprints, Mount Nebo, Mount Magazine.

Simning: Det bästa badhålet i Arkansas ligger vid Long Pool som har stora stenar att hoppa av (var som helst mellan 8 och 12 fotdroppar) att barnen absolut går bonkers över. Long Pool State Park har $ 3 för parkering och du behöver exakta pengar eftersom det är självbetjäning. Ta med en flotationsanordning när du behöver simma älven för att komma över till klipporna.

Vandring: Nära till följande vandringsleder: Pedestal Rock (vandring under bluff linje för att se alla grottor), Glory Hole (vattenfall som strömmar i grottan), Alum Cove Natural Bridge (grottor), Long Pool State Park (vattenfall), Whitaker Point (bästa plats för bild i Arkansas för att memorialize din resa).

Närmaste stad: Dover, AR ligger cirka 5 miles bort. Tillgång till livsmedelsbutik och restauranger finns i Dover.

Peaceful quaint farm house

My elderly husband, son and daughter in law and two grands stayed. It was a beautiful peaceful well kept older home. It has a back porch and we brought our own roll away bed so my husband would be comfortable in his own space. He loved the added privacy the back porch offered him as needed. The home was clean and reminded me of being at my grandparents home. Very quaint home

The Rock House

This was an older, well kept house. It was very clean. Robert and Lawanda were wonderful people. We really enjoyed meeting them and seeing the farm. I loved the porch swing and the view!

Riding trip

Rock house was a very nice play for my wife and son and i to spend a few days. House was very clean and well kept. It sits on a gorgeous family farm that is all around you. The owners live within eyesight and where there checking to make sure everything was perfect as soon ss we got yhere. If i had one small complaint it would be the mattress in the master bedroom was hard as a brick.

Precious Farm House

Our primary reason for our stay was atv-ing at Mack’s Pines which is located about 15 minutes away…house is located about 8 minutes from town…dollar store located right down the road! We found this house was great to come home and relax every evening. Hosts were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with…we will be back!

Clean and well kept!

It’s likely that we stay at this house again in the future. It was clean and well kept. No noise pollution as there wasn’t much traffic. The A/C worked well which is a huge plus!

Very lovely and quaint property

We enjoyed our stay at this cute historic farmhouse. There is a Dollar General about 1 mile from house and Dover is less than 5 miles with some great restaurants fir a small two . We visited with owners every day and enjoyed that so much. We enjoyed riding our side by side on the area.We want to return to area and house. Thanks Ron and Shelley

We stayed in the stone house and absolutely loved it! There is so much history in this house and I loved how Mr and Mrs Dale came by to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed! We will stay here again if we are back in the area!

Dover Stone House

We had a lovely time at the Stone House! Very clean, attentive but not overly attentive hosts, everything we needed was available. Our only issue was that the property is at a very busy intersection that has a stop sign from One direction, a yield sign from another and a third street that flies on through - made it a challenge to park the dually 1-Ton truck with boat behind it in the parking that is in front of the property, between the house and the intersection. Other than that, wonderful!!

Wonderful house in a great setting

We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Well maintained house in a very peaceful setting. About 10-15 minutes outside of Russellville - close enough for convenience, far enough away for peace and quiet.

Beautiful property

Absolutely gorgeous property, and the house is very cozy, felt like home away from home. My partner and I spent most of our time just sitting on the front porch swing and enjoying the view. The back pond is incredibly peaceful to sit by as well. A great place to unwind and reconnect.

We loved staying here! The property is on land which was beautiful and peaceful. The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Historic rock house

While this house was small it was comfortable and homey. It sat out in the country in front of a large freshly mowed field with a beautiful pond. We would stay there again.
