Enkel Ätkomst till den fantastiska gamla staden Lagos med sin mÀngd restauranger och barer - bara 1 kilometer till centrum, mindre till marinan, plus en privat fullstor pool (10 m x 5 m) med rymliga terrasser, belÀgna i en hÀrlig sÀker muromgÀrdad trÀdgÄrd med stort grÀsplan för bollspel. PooluppvÀrmning Àr tillgÀnglig till en kostnad av £ 100pw. Denna villa fungerar mycket bra i tre generationer av en familj och ocksÄ perfekt för tvÄ familjer, pÄ grund av bilagan. A Super Family Hols

We loved everything about the villa. It was the perfect setting for our Canadian/English family holiday after being apart for so long. The garden is lovely and the lawn and pool provided many hours of fun and games for our multi-age group ranging in age from 5 to 80!

We loved staying at this house. It was located in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Lagos yet was very close to the everything that Lagos has to offer - e.g., the marina, grocery stores, old town, restaurants, museums, the beach., etc. We spent 5 weeks there and loved everything.

Nice villa albeit tired but with wonderful pool and setting.

Really enjoyed our week at the villa in Falfeira. The heated (at extra cost) pool is fabulous and the grounds are immaculate. The views are superb and the neighbourhood very quiet. Exceptionally convenient for access to Lagos. However the villa itself is rather tired (although presents well externally), with an 'old house' aroma not helped by the smell of drains in one of the bathrooms (we did report this to the managing agent but as we did not want tradesmen visiting we chose to put up with it). The kitchens need updating and they stand in contrast to the modernised bathrooms. Beds (only singles) were very comfortable. The windows and doors are ancient and difficult to operate and secure. We ran out of gas but this was rapidly attended to by the managing agent - top marks! There are no flywires. In summary, if you are looking for luxury then look elsewhere. However the villa does provide reasonable, albeit basic accommodation, very much ameliorated by the excellent location and the grounds and the pool. Indeed the property is really all about the superb swimming pool where we spent most of our time, as the weather during our stay in early October was fabulous.

AnĂșncio pouco claro no que diz respeito ao nĂșmero de quartos e casas de banho e quantidade de pessoas que hospeda. Fiz a pesquisa para 6 adultos e 2 crianças e optei por esta casa mas apenas depois da reserva ficou claro que o quarto nr 4 (anexo) e a 3ÂȘ casa de banho completa teriam um valor extra, assim como camas extra para as crianças. No espaço exterior, faltam bases para guarda sĂłis para que possamos ajustar sombra conforme necessĂĄrio. Algumas coisas a necessitar de serem renovadas mas de forma geral ok. Ponto a favor: estores em todas as janelas assim como redes mosquiteiras.

The villa was exactly what we wanted for an adult family holiday for 7. It was lovely to have a pool to ourselves with ample seating and pool side loungers. The grounds were well maintained with wonderful views over Lagos towards the sea.. It was also nice to have the option to dine either indoors or alfresco. Villa directions made it easy to find with only a 5 minute drive from Lagos.We has an issue with the pool filtration plant not working but that was speedily resolved within 90 minutes of reporting it. Great response from the management services!

We spent a great two weeks. The villa was spotless and the location was excellent. We travelled with grandchildren and Amy provided a high chair, pack & play and a gate.The pool was a lot of fun with a great green space. Communication was excellent. Lovely stay

We enjoyed the stay very much. The house has everything it promised. The children loved the swimming pool and it was worth the extra expense of warming it. The house is near amenities and Lagos’ vibrant restaurants and shops close by.

Wonderful villa in peaceful location

Wonderful villa in a very peaceful location but still close to Lagos town and marina! Great size pool and lots of outdoor space for you little one to play. The toys and floats were an added bonus! Super clean too and great communication with the owner and manager in Lagos. Would highly recommend to families and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you for having us!

Schön mit kleinen Macken

Die Villa ist schön und großzĂŒgig. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse im Erdgeschoss. Dort sind auch alle Schlafzimmer, eine kleine KĂŒche und drei Badezimmer (wenn man die große Version des Hauses bucht). Zwei BĂ€der sind ganz neu renoviert. Im oberen Stockwerk ist die „richtige“ KĂŒche und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit einem Balkon, der einen schönen Meer- und Stadtblick hat. Die KĂŒche ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut ausgestattet, auch wenn Besteck und Geschirr ein großes Sammelsurium sind. Es gibt zwei KĂŒhlschrĂ€nke mit Gefrierfach, was im Sommer sehr gut ist. Der Pool ist sehr schön und es sind genĂŒgend Liegen da. Auch eine Wiese lĂ€dt zum Spielen ein, z. B. Volleyball oder Federball. Wir haben folgende VerbesserungsvorschlĂ€ge/Informationen: - der Pool könnte einmal in der Mitte der Woche gereinigt werden, wenn es dauerhaft ĂŒber 30 Grad hat. - wenn fremde Handwerker vorbeikommen sollte vorher Bescheid gegeben werden. - da die Villa recht abgelegen am Rande einer Gruppierung von HĂ€usern liegt kann man keinesfalls in den Ort laufen: es ist zu weit und zu gefĂ€hrlich. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und können das Haus weiterempfehlen entweder fĂŒr zwei Familien mit ganz kleinen Kindern oder eine Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern. Das Preis-LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis mitten im August ist wirklich fair.

Wonderful!

We felt very privileged to have stayed at this glorious villa. The 3 directional views from the upstairs dining area are stunning and we enjoyed breakfast and evening meals up there. The pool area is large and has a lovely shaded seating area covered by a bougainvillea which we were delighted to find. There was an area for playing ball games with beautiful hibiscus and other lovely flowers. We were excited to find a huge selection of English books and somes games. including chess. The weather was perfect. Windy and sunny so we were pleased we had brought a jumper for the evening as the wind made the evenings cool. Perfect. Thank you! Oh yes! We saw Dolphins (book for a morning trip if you want calm seas) and took a speed boat to see the Benagil caves from Portimao which was beautiful. The walk along the cliffs near Carvoeiro was stunning and the jump from the rocks into the sea very scary!

Lovely first holiday as Grandparents

Excellent villa, peaceful but close enough to town. Lovely pool & garden area. A great kitchen & bbq area. Floats & toy box for the grandkids. A small hot water issue but fixed promptly. My only recommendation would be a stair gate. Highly recommended.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus in dem es an nichts fehlt. Über die Ausstattung der KĂŒche kann ich nicht viel sagen, da wir im Haus nur gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt haben, dafĂŒr ist alles vorhanden. Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We first visited the Algarve in 1979 and instantly fell in love with the area and the people. We first stayed in Carvoeira and considered buying there but sadly realised that this charming little fishing village was about to be swamped by development. We then explored further west and after several visits to the area decided that Lagos was sufficiently large and predominantly Portuguese to avoid being swallowed up by developments.
Then began the search for a villa nearby rather than in the town itself which can be noisy with barking dogs and late night bars etc.! We were extremely lucky in that the first villa sent to us was in just the right location, just 1 mile from the very centre of town with fantastic panoramic views of the ocean and mountains and yet in the peaceful countryside.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I doubt there are many villas in or around Lagos that combine convenience of access to the many shops, bars and restaurants the town has to offer, with such blissful peace and quiet. We sit gazing at the views for hours both day and night and never tire of returning to Miradouro. The children love the pool,which can be heated in early and late season at extra charge when the water temperature is a mite too chilly except for the most hardy. The villa is very baby friendly as we provide cot, high chair, monitor, bottle warmer, steriliser, even a few toys and a potty!
