Stugan har nyligen renoverats i 2016. Det är en multi-level hem. Befälhavaren sviten ligger på den första nivån med en privat badrum bad och privat veranda endast nås från befälhavaren. Två sovrum finns på andra våningen med en full hall bad och tvätt. På den tredje nivån är vardagsrummet med en öppen planlösning, som omfattar kök, matsal och sittgrupper. Det finns en veranda utanför av denna nivå med utsikt över 13: e hålet på golfbana vid byn Nag Head.

Köket är fullt utrustad med alla de saker som behövs för att förbereda och servera mat. Det finns en gasgrill och utomhusdusch. Alla sovrum och vardagsrummet har platt-TV och direkta tv. Stugan har även trådlöst internet (lösenordet publiceras på kylskåpet). Stugan är utrustad med en telefon med obegränsad tillgång långväga.

Veckovis uthyrning är söndag till söndag. Sängkläder och handdukar är inte standard, men kan lämnas på begäran. Upcharge på följande sätt: bäddade sängar vid ankomst + 2 uppsättningar av handdukar är $ 25 / sovrum eller $ 75 om alla tre används. Gör dina egna sängar, (lakan och handdukar i rummet) är $ 15 / sovrum eller $ 45 om alla 3 sovrum används.

Beach and fishing trip

This was the perfect location due to the access to the community fishing pier in the sound and the easy access to the charter boat harbors.

Becky was very kind and friendly. The home is at a perfect location I walked to the shops nearby. The house was super cozy and spacious for our family. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Family Beach Stay!

The cottage was very nice and well equipped! Easy to find in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house has been updated since the photos were taken and it is very nice! The back deck view is covered by a lot of trees so you cannot see the golf course any more. Perfect for a quick trip to OBX!

great location for beach and pool access

This house is conveniently located with a 2-3 minute drive to the beach and community pool. The host was communicative and helpful. Be sure to read the fine print to bring your own linens!

Geat location and clean property

Great location just off the main road...close to everything but the house is not in a busy area. The listing does make it sound like you can see the golf course but the trees behind the houses in this area block all views of the course. Overall...great place to stay...great location and a very clean property.

Perfect location!

Close to so many cool spots- the kites at Jockey’s point, the appearing and disappearing shipwrecks, kayaking in Kitty Hawk, the Elizabethian garden in Roanoke and still a stones throw from a food lion and a brew threw. Becky’s dining recommendations were spot on. The house is lovely and clean with a deck perfect for birdwatching and stargazing. I can’t say enough!!!

Pleasantly Surprised!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was just right for us- clean and comfy. It was a quick drive/walk to the store and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised that the pool is at an ocean front club (with food and bar) that included beach access. The furniture has also been updated since the pictures were taken. The back is much more grown than the pictures- you can no longer see the golf course…which wasn’t a big deal. Check in was a breeze with a simple door code but the directions still say to call (with an old number) which you don’t need to do. The sound side access is close by and nice as well. The owner has great communication and is very nice. We especially liked that we were able to bring our dog with us. I highly recommend this house!

Nice House at Nags Head

We enjoyed our stay at this nice cottage. Our host Becky was very helpful and prompt in returning our call and driving over to assist us with a minor issue. The house was nicely appointed and very clean. Our only suggestions are to replace the shower curtain in the bath on the second floor, add a curtain in the master bath window, and insert some graphite in the front door lock. These are very minor issues, and we will definitely book this house again. Thanks Becky

We didn’t want to leave!

Great location. Close to the community pool and beach access. Quiet neighborhood. House is modest, but clean and comfortable. Beware of the cactus in the back of the house, and the grass along the road that has burrs. Our corgi was not bothered by the burrs, but our little labradoodle had several after every walk. They are hard to remove and painful on the fingertips. I would definitely stay again, but wouldn’t bring the dogs.

Late September Get-A-Way

The property owner (Becky) is very accomodating and considerate of your needs. She is an A+ owner.The home is roomy and in very good location. While it wasn't unclean, it could have been cleaned better especially walls and ceilings( cobwebs).The interior could use some fresh paint; new area rugs and some maintenance of bath and kitchen fixtures along with improved lighting in all the rooms.The upstairs deck and deck furniture need replaced . We have stayed in OBX for 20+ years so we understand the obstacles home owners have with renting their properties especially when pets are allowed. Overall home is a good value for the area rated a "B" in our estimation.

Village of Nags Head vacation

We decided to take a quick trip to the outerbanks. Because of all of the dog boarding places that we use was booked up we needed to bring our furry family member with us. This place was perfect for us. We had stayed in a few houses down in the past and was very familiar with the Village of Nags Head. It has a nice pool and clubhouse. Also, there is parking with an access to the beach with showers to rinse off. The house was as described. It was very clean and nice. Check in was good although I think the number on the check in info maybe out of date. Becky did text us to see how we are doing getting in. Definitely would consider this place again. If there were any recommendation it would be a hose for the outside to rinse off sand. It did have an outdoor shower. Also, the shower curtain could be replaced. Even with these little items, I still highly recommend.

Very friendly owner and easy check-in process as we were met at the front door when we arrived. As you read other reviews the place is nice but outdated and we had a few issues with roaches. The first 3 nights we had run ins with about 10-15. I reached out to the owner and while we were out she came and sprayed. After that we still saw a few. The only concern with the roaches is that we didnt want to bring them home with us, we shall see. The top door to the back deck does not lock but used a chair to secure it. The pool and beach access are across the main road and the pool closes very early, 6pm daily. Convenient location though to grocery store, etc and a great place to fish and crab about 1/2 mile down the road. Again, place was ok.. roaches were main concern.. but we will stay somewhere else are next visit to the OBX.

We had the cottage built in 1988. The following year we were married at the Village Beach Club. The first couple married at that venue and apparently trend-setters as beach weddings have become very popular since then. We lived in Atlanta at that time, but moved to the Village on the sound in 2006 when our son started high school. Tommy plays in a band on the beach at many different venues and Becky recently retired from the medical profession.

Because it is comfortable, cozy, clean, and reasonably priced with many of the same amenities as the big pricy properties. Published rates include 6.5% NC state sales tax & 6% Dare County lodging tax.

It combines the things we love, the beach, golf and convenient location. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, access to the sound is unbeatable, and the ocean is fantastic. Closest public beach access is the Nags Head Municipal access--a 10 minute walk. Guest also have passes for "The Village Beach Club"-- a private club with bath house, pool, restaurant, bar and game room, and tennis courts. Parking is available and shuttle transportation is provided to the Beach Club. Guests also enjoy reduced rates at the Village Links Golfcourse.
