Fantastic family holiday

We stayed at Casa Helen for a fortnight in August. It is located on a beautifully landscaped complex within a short walking distance of the town centre and three beaches. The villa is comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need during the holiday. The complex has a super swimming pool and tennis courts and the staff are most friendly and helpful. We decided not to hire a car but did use the local bus service a few times and also booked some excursions to Timanfaya and Papagayo on the water taxi - both highly recommended. Playa Blanca is a perfect family resort with lots of great places to eat and things to keep children and teenagers occupied. Communication with the owner was excellent both prior to and during our stay. We would highly recommend this property and resort and would definitely return as it has everything we look for in a great family holiday!

A wonderful spot

The house is on a beautifully kept development with spotless gardens and a lovely pool. The property is towards the top of a gentle hill, so away from any traffic noise. The patio gets the sun all day and you get great sunrise / sunset views. The house itself is very comfortable with two nice sofas and the kitchen is very well stocked. The house differed slightly from the pictures in the original profile because one room (a kind of indoor barbecue space) had been turned into an en-suite bathroom for the second bedroom. The new bathroom is really lovely and a great addition to the house. The house is a short walk to the promenade and only about 10 mins walk away from Playa Flamingo beach. There are shops close by and it's an easy walk into town. Overall, this is a great place to stay and it's definitely on our list of places we would love to return to.

Relaxing

Kerb appeal! Lovely terrace surrounded by Bougainvillea which was unfortunately severely pruned by the gardening staff the following morning! All main rooms a good size(bedrooms with mosquito netting), kitchen needing a little more work area but balanced by indoor barbeque, TV with BBC1, BBC2 ITV etc, Wifi using Casas Del Sol very poor but the owners "file" in the magazine rack has password code for VERY strong Wifi off the TP router,so Wifi not a problem. Pool area and sunbeds excellent, reception staff really helpful(they also sell fresh rolls.water). The only negative for my wife was the slope of the path back to the villa, for the majority of renters it would not be a problem. So, to summarise, a picture book villa in lovely gardens for a most relaxing holiday break.

Relaxing and homely

The villa was in a great location for exploring the whole of Playa Blanca. Very well equipped and homely; nicely furnished. Lovely garden/patio area. Beautifully tended gardens on the complex; fabulous communal swimming pool; very helpful reception team. Would definitely recommend this villa.

ruhiges Haus

Haus ist relativ bequem eingerichtet. TV nicht benutzt, da nur 1 Programm (englisch). Schöne Lage, kein Meerblick. Sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool. freundliches Personal. Das Haus könnte gepflegter sein: Badezimmer riecht muffig, Toilette wackelt, da nicht richtig festgeschraubt, Abfluss riecht. Handtücher dünn und fleckig. Stecker an der Tischlampe im Wohnzimmer mit Klebestreifen stabilisiert. Im Bad mehrmals Kakerlaken gesichtet!!! Küche minimal ausgestattet, man kann nur eingeschränkt kochen (schlechte Bratpfanne, in der alles anbrennt), kein richtig scharfes Messer, zu kleiner Nudeltopf, alles wirkt abgenutzt. Keine Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher vorhanden. Terasse sehr schön, Liegen und Auflagen sind vorhanden.

Excellent stay a 35A

The villa is in a lovely position on the site and within easy reach of the port, town and seafront with all the shops and restaurants. It is furnished in a traditional style with modern appliances and all you need for a holiday. The garden room is really useful space for a sun shade or shelter from the wind. Can wait to go again. Casa Helena is everything we hoped for for our holiday

We stayed in casa Helena from 11th - 25th March 2019 Everything was just as we had hoped weather was fabulous and villa had everything to make our holiday great. The only downside was the sunbeds they didn't recline so we could only lie on them thus making it very uncomfortable to try and read as we lay sun bathing . We would very much like to come back again

Lovely villa on a tasteful development.

July 2017 - We really enjoyed our stay. Two good size bedrooms and one very small one with bunks in it. Lots of places to sit and relax. Could do with air con but otherwise no real complaints. Lovely grounds and large, spotless pool. 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants on the seafront.

Peaceful, secluded villa close to the town

Really loved our short break at Casa Helen. The small, friendly complex of Cases Del Sol is a five minute flat walk from Playa Blanca, yet feels very private and peaceful. The complex is really well run, from a central little office which is always manned by very friendly staff. It also has a little shop for essentials like water, toiletries and ice cream! The complex is beautifully landscaped with palm trees and flowering shrubs, and benefits from a gorgeous swimming pool and tennis courts. Casa Helen is in the perfect position within the complex. It's a 2 minute walk from the office and swimming pool, but is in the far edge of the complex so it's the most quiet and secluded of all the villas. It really is heavenly, reading on the patio to the gentle sound of swaying palm trees. Inside the villa are two double bedrooms, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. All very well equipped. Shower is lovely and warm and powerful. Outside are sunloungers and two tables and chairs. All in all a perfect few days in a perfect place!
