Venice getaway

Delightful stay at the last minute and so convenient to everything! The condo had everything we needed. Debbie was so responsive to our needs. Thank you for rescuing our vacation!

Vacation 3 week stay .

We arrived at the unit and it was just as described, cozy & clean .parking is assigned and there are parking spots for visitors. I had a question about something in the unit and Debbie responded right away. The pool is nice and well maintained . Less than a mile walking or driving to the beach ,which we took advantage of . There’s pickle ball courts in the area too . Downtown Venice is in close proximity. The Italian American Club had a spaghetti dinner that was fantastic. The airport in the area there was not an issue, Mostly small Cessna’s not many jets at all .The area is pretty quiet,Would definitely recommend.

Great value

We enjoyed our stay here. The unit is roomy and laid out well. It is quiet, especially at night when it matters most. The beds are quite comfortable. Shower pressure is good, and this is not always true, in my experience of renting. There are no grab bars in the shower, so if you are a senior make sure you use a rubber mat inside the shower. Debbie is easy to communicate with, and she knows how to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Peaceful and Clean

This is not a touristy resort style place (december) . It was peaceful and clean with plenty of supplies, towels, beach items , full kitchen supplies to cook etc. It is in a safe area with a pleasant pool area (with bathrooms). The historic downtown area was my favorite go to spot and the beaches were nice. I highly reccomend for those that just want to feel like a local and enjoy peace and quiet.

Christmas in Venice

Five minute drive to the beach and downtown. Basic necessities, quiet area with comfortable bed. We frequented many restaurants and we were never disappointed.

Base Ave Condo

Debbie’s condo was very clean. Close to the beach and after the beach enjoyed an afternoon swim in the pool. Having a bad back the mattress was extremely comfortable! Laundry room accessible right downstairs from the condo Stocked with beach chairs and beach towels. The only suggestion I have for the owner is to purchase an antenna so you can get local tv channels. Roku is not that easy to work since it is all streaming. We watched our shows on our computer and IPad. Definitely recommend this place to stay as we were there for a month. Debbie is very easy to get in touch with and answers back quickly.

Pros: ~2 miles from the beach Bedding was very comfortable Pool on site Cons: Couch very uncomfortable Air conditioning outside master BR is loud. (I slept with ear plugs!) Pour internet connection TV only had Roku...no local news Router had to be re-booted almost daily.

If only the Wi-Fi and TV worked better.

Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable king size bed, but disappointed by cheapest, insecure Wi-Fi and TV which had only Roku, but no Hulu or Netflix or Sling or any other streaming service. Had to re-set router on 7 different days to bring in any Wi-Fi. I have cable at home and will stick with it for choices of good TV channels that come in when you want them. Besides extra costs for choosing a streaming channel, streaming depends on good Wi-Fi. Lots of waiting while shows were buffering. Relaxing Getaway in a Perfect Location

The pictures of this condo described it perfectly! It was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It was perfectly located to several beaches. There were many wonderful restaurants along the waterfront as well as in downtown Venice. Shopping was also plentiful whether you were looking for grocery stores or boutique shops! Debbie answered any questions very quickly!

Great condo

Such a cute condo. Very convenient to get to, comfortable, and private. Close to everything; beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The owner has taken the time to stock the condo with things like beach towels, hair dryers, extra toothbrushes, and much more. Would definitely book in the future.

The Perfect Spot!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We are beach people and this location checked all of our boxes. An easy walk to Venice Beach and Sharky's. Easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. The condo had plenty of room with all of the amenities we needed.

Cleaning service was not good

When I changed the master bedroom sheets the first week , the mattress pad was covered with bits of sand and long black hair. I then cleaned under bed found food pieces and under dresser a cigarette not used. Then cleaning under twin beds and sofa food and candy wrappers. The owner needs to know she isn't getting good cleaning service from her sources. I would welcome this advice if I had such a nice place and would make quick changes. We would go back again. Venice stay for 6 weeks mid January to February 28th 2019

This well decorated two bedroom unit suited for two people. The unit is very nice and the grounds a swimming pool (although not heated) are very well maintained A great location, close to the beach and about a kilometer from the lovely town where there are numerous restaurants and quaint shops. Great place for walks where the people are friendly (everyone says hello as you pass them) If you are a twosome would recommend 340 Base Avenue as a place to stay and the owner is quick to respond to any questions S.A. & B.

This property is in a great location if you like beaches. It is centrally located on the Gulf of Mexico (America) and 25 min from Siesta Key, 1 1/2 hrs.from Naples going south and Tampa going north, with several beaches a few miles in either direction. It is also a great location to bike ride with the Legacy Trail nearby and bike rentals near the property. `
